Stayed 7 nights in a one bedroom apartment in this well run hotel. Staff is outstanding and very well trained. Location is excellent being within walking distance of the old Market and Pub Street yet realitively quiet. We used the hotel's airport pickup for a cost of $33 each way. Having been to Siem Reap multiple times we used the same tuk tuk driver for the last 9 years but the hotel has quiet a few capable drivers available at all times. We had one evening meal and several breakfasts at the hotel. Food and especially the service was very good. I would prefer more western or ala carte choices but what they have is adequate. Two blocks away is the Muffin Man bakery and restaurant and they offer excellent breakfast choices. A few blocks towards the old Market is the Khmer Grill which has many choices at very affordable prices. Also just past the Khmer Grill down the alley is Wild which is a highly rated restaurant featuring Spring Rolls both fried and not fried. I would highly recommend. Down and across the street from the Muffin Man is a Khmer soup restaurant frequented by lots of tuk tuk drivers. We were the only westerners there but the owner speaks basic English and it was excellent. He charged us $1 for a bowl of soup with lots of meat in it. This hotel offered the best wifi of any hotel I have ever stayed in Siem Reap. It also has more than adequate air conditioning. We plan to return to Siem Reap for a more extended stay and The Elephant will be our first choice.

The entire team at The Sarai, especially Rose, David, and Anna, went above and beyond to ensure that I had a delightful experience. Their dedication and willingness to assist me were truly commendable. I must add that all the other staff members were equally helpful and contributed to making my stay exceptional. Apart from the exceptional service, I was particularly impressed with the hotel's amenities. The comfortable beds ensured a restful sleep, the delicious breakfast provided a great start to the day, and the fabulous pool offered a refreshing retreat. Furthermore, I was thrilled to receive a complimentary 30-minute massage, which I decided to extend due to its immense relaxation benefits. I also want to express my appreciation for the assistance I received from your staff in various other aspects. From arranging transportation to and from the airport to helping me mail out postcards, their support was invaluable. I couldn't have asked for more. In terms of location, The Sarai's proximity to the main shopping and restaurant area is incredibly convenient. The short tuk tuk ride or 10-minute walk ensured that I had easy access to all the attractions and amenities in the city. Un pequeño hotel situado en la zona turística de Siem Reap (a poco más de 10 minutos de la “Pub Street” y el río). Habitaciones amplias, limpias y cómodas. Baño amplio, con ducha independiente. El agua sale más bien tibia, si bien con el calor reinante tampoco se nota en exceso. Tiene una piscina muy agradable y un pequeño restaurante, donde se puede desayunar (con varias opciones de menú) o cenar, a unos precios razonables y con buena comida, tanto camboyana como occidental. Servicio de lavandería rápido y eficiente. Lo mejor es el personal, extremadamente amable, siempre con una sonrisa en los labios y deseoso de ayudar, como suele ser el caso en Camboya. En Siem Reap (si se quiere en la propia puerta del hotel o en el aeropuerto) es muy fácil contratar un tuktuk para todo el día para visitar los templos al ritmo que uno desee. Los precios de la habitación incluyen la recogida desde el aeropuerto, aunque en mi caso se olvidaron. No es un gran problema porque puedes coger un tuktuk sin mayores problemas, pero recomiendo recordar al hotel la llegada el día antes.

El desayuno está fijado, no hay muchas opciones de comida, sabor normal, precio normal en el restaurante ( básicamente 2-3🔪 una bebida, 5-7🔪 un punto de comida)! Servicio 🉑️! Our stay at this hotel lasted for a month, costing around 650 euros, and although our sleep was satisfactory, there were numerous shortcomings. Despite actively searching for other hotels within the same price range, none of them were satisfactory. However, due to the comfortable sleep we experienced, we decided to stay. If we had come across a more respectable option, we would have immediately left. The advantages include a peaceful and quiet atmosphere at night, as well as reasonably comfortable beds. Additionally, the staff demonstrated friendliness and helpfulness.

Hotel de estilo Khmer. El antiguo hotel fue renovado en 2017. Las habitaciones están limpias pero son pequeñas, no tienen televisión, las habitaciones de madera están generalmente insonorizadas y las personas mayores no pueden dormir bien por la noche. No debería estar lejos del antiguo mercado. El desayuno es muy común, hay que decir que no hay nada para comer excepto mango. Todo el hotel tiene un mal sentido del servicio, especialmente una mujer embarazada en la recepción que está muy orgullosa y no debe descansar en casa. Nunca he visto un camarero con un verdadero sentido del servicio y una mala actitud hacia los chinos y los extranjeros. ¡Describe una mala gestión hotelera! El último día del vuelo, nuestra familia tenía cuatro adultos, un niño y cuatro maletas grandes. ¡El día del check-in, dije específicamente que la cantidad de personas y la cantidad de equipaje deberían dejarse con cinco SUV! ¡Es impresionante! Los tres peores hoteles de Siem Reap. El primero es el Golden Temple Boutique Hotel y el segundo es un hotel beige. Hay una gran diferencia en el servicio único. Los clientes que viven en la industria de servicios sin la conciencia de servicio más básica realmente no recomendarán a otros. Y hay un problema con el agua en este hotel. Algunos comentarios anteriores decían que el agua huele a oxidada. No veo óxido, pero siempre siento una capa de aceite después de lavarme las manos. Después de lavarse con jabón o gel de ducha en el baño, sigue siendo una capa de aceite. No se que paso. Lo que es más interesante es que este hotel casi no tiene reseñas de hoteles en 2019, así que deje que Ctrip lo ayude a confirmar que nadie respondió el teléfono después de que el servicio al cliente se comunicó con el hotel durante dos días. Realmente sin palabras, ¿no respondes ninguna llamada de hotel? El servicio al cliente de Ctrip es muy activo, realiza un seguimiento de vez en cuando, ¡trabajo duro!

This was an absolute gem of a hotel. It's near the main attractions without being on top of them. It was a bargain price with breakfast included. It's not far from Siem Reap airport & they can arrange collection from the airport for you. There are a couple of supermarkets opposite as well as pharmacy in one of them. There are lots of restaurants a short walk away towards the river & Pub Street as well as a market which is open in the evenings. Ankor Wat temples are also only a short tuk-tuk ride away. The hotel has 2 x small pools which were great, as well as happy hour in the early evenings to sample their cocktails while you cool off at one of the pools. The breakfast was impressive with a wide selections / choices to suit all nationalities. Probably the best breakfasts we had on our 3 week trip. The rooms were large, with the most comfortable beds. The bathroom was modern with a lovely shower. There are tuk-tuks outside the hotel so if you don't feel like walking it's easy to get that lift. We also used the spa facilities & had massages & treatments which were so cheap compared to other places we visited & were great. The staff were friendly helpful & courteous. All in all I could not fault this wonderful hotel. Would I stay there again? - Absolutely I would!

Hemos estado aquí durante nuestro hermoso viaje a Camboya. Aquí te sientes en familia con que parecía continuar nuestro viaje a la acogida Camboya aunque está en una gran ciudad. Samso el titular habla italiano y es un guía fantástico! Vimos los sitios con él. El tiene una piscina y grandes habitaciones. Él es su familia estará allí para usted! nosoma muy recomendado!
