The problem with this hotel is that, when you pay over 500 € / night, or even more, is it enough for you that the location of the hotel is perfect or do you whant value for your money? I travel a lot and has been much expensive places too, and In my opinion, when you pay such amount, you have to get good value for your money, especially when the problems are easy to salve. When we arrived to hotel, first we met the outside ashtray as in picture. We had two different room and the first one's wc has very very unpleasant smell ( cesspit problem ?). The second one, the drain in the shower doesnt work properly, the sink lock didn't work, couldn't lock the balcony door that did get open him self during the night by the wind and rain inside. There was two people work at the beach, for giving towels to the clients and set up sunshade. Shift is 6-7 hours, actual work is max 40 min., hotel side beach is 20 m x 2 m. One of them, Francesko, start his shift always by cleaning this very very small part of the beach but other guy never. Just give towels and look the phone. The second day, a half eated apple was at the beach, he walks 30 times near by and did not take it away ( as in the picture ). It can sound a little think but in this level hotel, or at least what they try to be, it don't work like this. Every morning there is rubbishes at the beach that waves brings and never get cleaned before Francesco start his shift. Some towels smell very strongly vinegar. As in the picture bellow, after the rain, which was surely not for the first time, they put towels under the door of the bar terrace, that water don't come inside. Is it in your opinion ok? The worst; male waiters was unbelievably arrogant! Just unbelievable. The second day I did complain, and the manager did handle the issue, for this time, but it should never be like this at the first place, never. Only good think at the hotel was that, it was very clean and reception staff was very friendly. Most of the staff don't welcome you when they met you anywhere at the hotel. This is a basic rule for this level hotel that, all staff smile and welcome clients in all occasion. After all, this hotel did absolutely not worth for this price / service level, there is a professional managing issues. There is many things which must work well all together in this business that, you can say, it's a good hotel, not only good location, clean rooms and high prices make you a good one.

La ubicación del hotel es buena, aunque no hay playa propia, pero la calle está al otro lado de un pequeño casino público gratuito con un pañuelo. Al lado hay un casino de tarifas, alquilar dos botas de una bota, 70o 😱 es demasiado exagerado por día. Compramos un bote y un plato solo 35o para asentar en un casino público. Las playas de la ciudad al lado son mejores y el precio es sólo 45o . La habitación de paisaje del mar reservada, el panorama del balcón de dos lados es muy bueno. El bar del techo está bien, 15 euros por cocktail, pero envía comida, no es bueno 👌

Muy bonito hotel de paisaje marítimo, las instalaciones son muy nuevas, la cama es muy cómoda, la velocidad de la red es buena, hay bares, restaurantes y piscinas, el transporte también es muy conveniente, hay muchos restaurantes alrededor, el hotel está fuera de la playa, caminar a la bahía y tienda. El hotel tiene un estacionamiento, pero requiere una tarifa, 20 euros por día.

Recientemente tuve el placer de estar en el exquisito Grand Hotel Villa Balbi en Sestri Levante. Desde el momento en que llegué, me explotó la increíble ubicación y la hospitalidad sin paralelo de este lujoso hotel. El hotel está situado en una magnífica villa histórica, rodeada de jardines lujosos y vistas al mar Ligurio espectacular. A la llegada, me saludaron los amables y profesionales, atentos a todas mis necesidades durante mi estancia. La habitación era deliciosa, con una cama de más, cómoda y un baño amplio con ducha. La habitación estaba limpia y el personal de la casa se fue a la parte superior y más allá para asegurarse de que permaneciera así durante mi estancia. El desayuno fue una extensa difusión de pasteles frescos, quesos locales, y frutas y cereales diversos, que daba el comienzo perfecto a mi día. El hotel cuenta con una piscina exterior muy bonita, con habitaciones cómodas, que permiten relajarse y soplan el sol mediterráneo. I just returned from Italy where I was staying at the Hotel Stella del Mare. My brother, sister in-law, niece, nephew and adult son all stayed in the same room. There were 4 adults and 2 children and although it was a little cramped it wasn't bad. I'm not the type to spend much time in the hotel room while on vacation anyway. It was clean, had a full kitchen and a nice balcony. So, if you are the type that likes to cook breakfast and have it out on the balcony you could do so. There is a small local super market in the area along with a bunch of nice restaurants. The hotel has a decent continental breakfast for a decent price each morning. I like to get up and get out of the room fairly early in the morning so I just had the continental breakfast every morning. The pool was nice and they have regular family friendly events at the hotel and around the area. So, it is very kid friendly. Although, the hotel and area are all beautiful and worth high marks on their own, the true value of this hotel is the staff. My son and I took a train to Rome for a couple days during our stay. I had arranged for a drop off and pick up at the train station (NOT through the Hotel). The ride got us to the train station just fine but when we came back they never showed to pick us up. It was about 8pm local time. I called the hotel and explained the situation and even though there aren't any local taxi services she made a bunch of calls and found someone to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel. It was completely my mistake for not just making all transportation arrangements through the hotel in the first place but this staff person ( I wish I could give you her name) never complained she just set to task and solved my issue for me. The next time I will just make the travel arrangements through the hotel in the first place.

El hotel de la ciudad de Sestri Levante es un lugar perfecto para quedarse. La ubicación del hotel es ideal, justo a lo largo de la playa y cerca de todo, incluidos los grandes restaurantes. Pero lo que realmente hace Grande Albergo grande es su personal - todos desde el escritorio frontal, el restaurante y el personal de playa hasta el personal de limpieza fueron arriba y más allá para hacer nuestra estadía maravillosa. Nuestro hijo se enferma durante nuestro viaje, y el escritorio delantero fue muy rápido para ayudarnos a conseguir una cita de médico. Además, el día que tuvimos que irse al aeropuerto, hubo un golpe de tren 24-hour en Italia, y el personal fue rápido para arreglar un conductor para nosotros. Además de estar muy atentos al servicio, el personal de Grande Albergo es muy amable y nos hace sentir muy bien. Recomendamos reservar a los asientos de playa de antemano, ya que la playa (por buena razón) es muy popular.
