Noūs Santorini

Really enjoyed our stay at Noūs Santorini. Hotel is excellent, great facilities and very clean. Staff are very friendly and really helpful. The food we had was great. The hotel is located in the centre of the island, Thira is a short taxi ride away. Loads of great places to eat. Oia is about 25 mins. Just be aware that the taxi prices are expensive. Would deffo recommend and stay here again.

This hotel is far from being a 5-star establishment; it's a rip-off. They deceive guests with their room descriptions. Despite booking a pool suite with a partial sea view for 920 euros/night, we ended up with a view of a parking lot, as shown in the attached photo. Our room's AC was faulty, and the bed was as hard as a rock, making it incredibly uncomfortable. Despite bringing up these issues politely, the hotel did nothing to address them, not even offering a room change. Save your money and stay in Oia instead; you'll get better value for the same price.

Would strongly recommend staying at Nous Hotel the next time you visit Santorini. The hotel is in east Santorini with a beautiful view of the ocean. The architecture and design is outstanding. Some of the rooms are terraced villas, others are regular villas which vary in size. We stayed in a Standard Garden room. The room was very spacious with all the accommodations you would need. Avoid staying somewhere like Oia, Fira or Imerovigli since their crowds are massive and there is an extreme lack of privacy. Although most hotels there are beautiful, with the classical white houses with blue domes, you would be really exposed. Most of them have their plunge pools right next to the alleys and during the day tourists fill the streets. In those places you either get a private suite with little natural light or big windows with no privacy at all. We could not be more satisfied with our decision to stay at Nous Hotel where you get the best there is. It’s the perfect hotel to avoid big crowds and to have a private and quiet stay. We also got a terrace with a plunge pool and a sitting area. The mattress is spectacularly made up of memory foam which ensures a good night's sleep. The hotel booked a car for us, way less expensive than the other companies. I would suggest renting a car/scooter and exploring the island beyond the tourist traps. Avoid eating in the big towns where food and drinks are expensive and overrated. The best of Santorini is in local vineyards (Assyrtiko wine is a must) and neighborhood restaurants ( Metaxi Mas and To Psaraki). In the hotel is also a huge beautiful pool next to the restaurant and bar. We had breakfast at the hotel both mornings, you can choose if you want buffet, a la carte, or both. There I had one of the best Greek yogurts prepared with figs, strawberry, granola and honey. At the hotel they harvest many of their ingredients in their garden such as the famous Santorini cherry tomatoes. Apoella, the hotel store, has exquisite curated Greek heritage brands such as Zeus and Dione. The service is exceptional, though the hotel has only been running for a month the whole team seems like they have been working together for ages. Katerina Pavlou, guest relation manager, was extremely attentive and present through our whole stay. When we got to the hotel she gave us a warm welcome and escorted us to our rooms. She also checked on us every morning making sure we had the best possible stay. At the reception you can find three fantastic young women running the concierge. All of them are extremely resourceful and efficient. They got us reservations at 4 fantastic places and arranged everything with the car rental. You can also reach out via the hotel’s Whatsapp and get a response in seconds. During our stay it was my mother’s birthday so they sent a champagne bottle and a cake to their room. Overall each and everyone in the team were amazing. I’m excited to see how they grow and develop in the next few years and I hope to ret

The NOUS Santorini was an incredible, serene experience for me and my husband. A perfect refuge on the island that's both quiet, modern, clean, and impressive with its accommodations. We had a room with a private plunge pool that we used every day, had a day at the spa that felt very private, and spent every day at the main pool which is the largest in Santorini! The architecture was beautiful, as was the landscaping. The staff were very attentive to every question we asked (and we asked A LOT). I couldn't recommend a hotel more. You may be tempted to book in Fira or Oia - but Messaria is so central to all sites of the island that we felt it was the perfect place to take in the beauty of this magical place and have privacy / relaxation. We will absolutely return.

To give some context we are a family of 3 (2 adults and a three year old). I work in financial services but 90% of my clients are in the hotel & hospitality sector and I speak with CEO’s & GM’s daily. My wife works in fashion and spends considerable time at events in Londons finest hotels and restaurants. Holiday wise we prefer contemporary boutique spots rather than chains or resorts. Nous ticked those boxes on the face of it hence we picked it. We are currently 5 days into a 8 night stay and whilst the hotel is aesthetically pleasing it is not yet upto 5 star standards. Pros - the grounds, buildings & decorations are all beautiful - Location is well situated away from the chaos but close to a bus stops that runs regular services to fira, kamari. - The food and service in the newly opened elio steakhouse was fantastic as was the knowledge of the sommelier. - The choice at breakfast is amongst the best I have seen across similar hotels. - The gym facilities are good apart from the bike machine which is not working. For all the staff working throughout the hotel I would expect this to be manned. Cons - the service at breakfast is very poor. On one occasion I waited an hour and a half for a coffee which I requested 4 times. In the end I gave up. As I type I have waited 45 minutes for one today and ordered twice. The tables aren’t numbered and staff don’t seem to be allocated areas so there is alot of confusion. You are constantly offered other people’s food and drink and to some degree you are best just taking what you are offered which I am sure is what guests are doing. - Having raised the above to the manager on the first occasion we were offered complimentary drinks by the pool for that day - great we thought. Ordered a few and again nothing turned up. Eventually had to go to the bar and get them. Thereafter again no one came round asking if we wanted more drinks. So whilst the gesture was nice, 2 aperol spritz do not make up for 2 hours without my family waiting for a simple cappuccino. - The drinks service is a constant issue, they would be better off doing self service or giving complimentary coffees from the vitamin bar in the morning. - The make up service is sloppy, little things like sheets not tucked in, plates/cutlery not replaced which you wouldn’t expect from a 5 star hotel. - Last night our air con made repeated clicking sounds, we called to reception but were just advised it should stop…which it did after 30 mins. Not ideal at 11pm whilst trying to get a child to bed. - The pricing is a bit all over the price. A beer at the pool is 9 euros but 6 euros in the steakhouse. Doesn’t really make sense. - Given the proximity to the airport and the current occupancy rate the hotel is utilised by budget airlines in the event of cancelled flights. We have had 2 days where the hotel was packed full of passengers put up due to cancelled flights. Many of these passengers can’t believe they have been put up in such a hotel

Similar to other reviewers we were surprised to get a room with a view of a barren field when the place looked very quiet. It certainly has aspirations to be 5* but the service isn’t there - a lot of young kids serving in the bar and restaurant and you can easily be forgotten about. The restaurant food is fine though the Santorini wines are frankly extortionate. The biggest issue though is the price of taxis through reception. With no public transport youll find yourself being quoted €20 or 30 for journeys of only a couple miles, each way. And the reception will pick a different amount depending on who is on duty. So that’s an extra €60 on the price of your meal if you’re going out. Mesaria itself is ok with a couple of nice places to eat but generally tourist traps. So a few issues for Nous to sort out and a couple of things that are Santorini issues. We wouldn’t go back.

The Nous Hotel lies on the flatter part of Santorini, near the beach, in the area of Masaria. It is none the less, a majestic property with it's unusual geometric architecture, innovative design and collection of artworks that adorn the place. Perks include 2 restaurants & 3 bars, outdoor pool, fitness room, exemplary gardens and a spa with it's own yoga terrace, 5 treatment rooms, and vitamin health bar. I jumped for the Pool Bungalow with it's burnt timber and black stone for a volcanic aura. The bath was luxurious and came with a separate shower and tub. The pinnacle amenity, however, was the private garden area decked out with a full sized swimming pool, all encompassed by a 'wow' view The Signature Restaurant and Bar at the Nous serves up a Greek inspired menu and I was in love with the local Seafood dish. The Nous Pool Restaurant provides all day poolside bites. So if you desire accommodations where design, space and comfort are paramount............then try the.......................Nous Santorini............................. .......Inspires the Greek Mantra of Living Well.

From the secong we arrived, the customer service was incredible.From the wonderful front of the house reception team to check us in to the mentainance team that replaced a bulb . The best hotel vacation ever. Our daily cocktails in the pool bar with peace and tranquility.The room a pool bangalow was spacious and beautifully desined. Every team was so friendly and the building was impressive.

Absolutely beautiful property. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. I would go here every year if I could. I really got the distress I needed from work. And you get to just relax. Amazing food too. I hope to go back soon.
