Paleos Hotel Apartments

Brilliant week in this little gem of a property. Family-run and all the staff were always ready to help. Relaxing atmosphere and really sociable evenings in the bar area with good company and top-notch food. Comfortable room and lovely pool area. Leisurely stroll into nearby village and beach. Handy (via private minibus transfer) for Rhodes town. I'd pretty much echo all that's already been posted by my fellow guests in the past couple of days (Ali, Dean & John). It's a great place for a holiday, so come and see for yourself. Shame I had to go home before the Greek night!

10 years ago my friend Liz and I had a fantastic week at Paleos. We had always promised ourselves a 're visit, sadly life had got in the way. We have just returned from another fantastic week at Paleos. The place is still run by the family ,with Giannis and his sister,Maria,at the helm. The place is small enough to get to know other guests, but you do not have to ,if you want peace and quiet. They have improved the dining area and bar area. The food was absolutely spot on every night. In the day Maria will make you a breakfast or a Greek lunch,at any time. she will always help you get a taxi or advise best places to visit. They are so friendly, they make you feel very special. A,really lovely atmosphere around The bar at night with The guests and staff. Giannis Including ALL guests in fun chat! The apartments are a good size and always very clean. The beds are comfortable and the shower perfect. We did not cook at all. But there is a fridge and small freezer for keeping food cool. We loved it so much we are not waiting 10 years, 're booked for September! Brace yourselves Paleos! Ali and Liz are coming back !

Had a wonderful 8 night stay. The staff are the most welcoming and we were treated like family. Could not do enough for us. Pool area Immaculate as was our room. Bar and restaurant were lovely and some really lovely home made meals. Free deserts nightly went down a treat. We WILL be back and we highly recommend. Thank you all at Paleos. X

Had a great time with 80 year old mum, Maria & Janis couldn’t do enough for us, very warm & welcoming, nice & chilled round pool, food was lovely, apartment was spot on, mum asked for first floor but decided her mobility didn’t allow for it, Maria happily moved us downstairs. The shuttle bus into Rhodes is definitely worth it 8 euro return. Oh & Janis Leeds will win playoff final 😜😜😜

Great apartment and very clean the rooms six days week good food and friendly staff see you soon!.The swimming pool is very clean and available sun beds .The Greek night is with BBQ and live music fantastic night Thank you so much and see you soon

The paleos apartments were excellent value for money.clean rooms.well run family business.very freindly staff.nothing too much trouble and the greek night was very special.would highly recommend this hotel The beach and bars are just a 10minute walk and local transport very reasonable

Nice 7 day stay at the apartments. We arrived early afternoon only a 20 mins transfer from the airport which is good, swift check in and keys passed over. There is no lift so you do have to carry your suitcase up a short flight of winding stairs. The room was very basic but this was expected from a 3 star property but what I didn’t expect was a Half finished bathroom. A new shower had recently been installed and the walls tiled, however the ceiling was bare plaster board, the tiling cement was not washed off the tiles properly, there was no shower screen and the door would not shut so when you went to the bathroom you had to place something on the floor to try and stop the door opening. Giannis the owner came to us to advise the shower curtain would be fitted in the next half hour, which it was. I did not mention anything else to him as only being there 7 nights I didn’t want the hassle and we agreed we would put up with it. The apartments are spacious and cleaned every day however they are dated (apart from the half finished bathroom) and the furniture stained. The pool is not very big nor is the pool area however as the apartments were not full this wasn’t a problem and the pool was too cold anyway. The area itself is ok, the edge of Ialyssos, there are a few Tavernas within a 20 mins walk, however with it being so early in the season some were not yet open and some were obviously shut for good which is a shame. Bus outside the apartments takes you to Rhodes town for 3 euros and takes 20 mins or 15 euro in a taxi. The day trip to Lindos is well worth the money organised via the hotel. The Greek night was fabulous and so was the food. So to sum up basic accommodation but if you want a cheap break close to Rhodes town then book here.

Lovely hotel and even better hosts. We stayed here in April 2024 for 4 nights and what a hidden gem this hotel is. Pool was ideal, never busy and always sunbeds available. Pool bar, restaurant and main bar have great service and food was amazing. Lovely short walk to local shops and restaurants and we ventured into Rhodes twice which was only a short bus journey away. Room has everything you need, 1 large double bed and 3 sofas in the living area. Kitchen looked ok but we didn’t use it. Giannis and Maria both amazing and made the stay even more special. Will definitely be visiting back in the future ☀️

Lovely apartments, Janis and Maria were fabulous hosts. Really friendly and helpful. Not far from the old town which is a must visit. We also visited lindos and 7 springs which was a great day trip out. Food was amazing in the bar. Really reasonably priced. We stayed for a week and loved every minute of the break. Would definitely visit again. We had a late flight on the way home and were able to keep the room till 6pm for 30 euros which was fab meaning we could chill by the pool all day before getting sorted for our flight home. They had a Greek night, which was awesome with singers, dancer's and fire and smashing plates, which was a really great night
