There are bad hotels, there are abysmal hotels and then there is RG Cottage. For 1800 Rs, there were much better hotels in Pune. But booked this place due to its proximity to my destination. Had a harrowing sleep. There was no shower gel to take a shower. A cockroach walked through my face as my wake me up call. Breakfast was served in the room by a surprisingly angry guy. Stone cold masala dosa, cold masala tea and a surprisingly good sambar (you got the one star because of the sambar) I have stayed in ***y Treebos across the country. This hotel will make me reconsider Treebo as a whole.

This place is in a terrible shape with badly maintained and smelly rooms. Cockroaches, hair strands on the pillows, fungus in the bathroom, peeled wall papers are just the beginning. One pillow reeked of hair oil. My sheets were not changed before my checkin! It is an ideal place if you’re looking for “any” place to stay

The stay was comfortable and good. It's a value for money place. The staff was courteas and friendly and also cooperative in all ways. Recommended for budget stay. The good care of the guests. Overall a good experience.
