We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We are a family of 6 and had an appar**ent with adjoining bedrooms and small balcony terrace overlooking the swimming pool. The room set up was perfect for us. The hotel is spotlessly clean. There are two swimming pools to enjoy. Convenient free onsite parking. Breakfast in the hotel was really good with lots of variety. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, eg assisting to heat up baby milk for me several times daily and assisting to make small amendments at breakfast to cater for dietary requirements. The roof terrace of this hotel has spectacular views of Etna and the sea… it is available for everyone to go and sit up there We would happily stay at this hotel again. Within walking distance, there is a local pizzeria and within a 5-10 minute drive there are plenty of restaurants at Acitrezza. We also took a taxi to explore Catania which can be arranged for you at reception Overall a wonderful stay. It’s a great choice.

Pasamos un fin de semana en el hotel Villa Dorata, siendo clientes fijos y aficionados durante muchos años. Desgraciadamente, este año nuestras expectativas se han decepcionado como el año pasado ya se esperaba. Hemos visto un cambio radical en su estructura y en su gestión, ya que en el pasado, bajo la anterior gestión, todo era poco perfecto. Por desgracia, hasta ahora no podemos sino comprobar cuánto se está decadiendo este hotel, situado en un lugar perfecto para todos los intereses. Los niños que se ocupan de ella, aunque amables, educados y disponibles, no están en la altura, ya que, obviamente, pocos adictos al negocio hotelero: habitaciones trascurridas, con manchas de infiltración, Críquete en las paredes, polvo en los muebles y los tocados de baño no funcionan. Calefacción ausente si no a petición, pero a menudo y deseablemente sustituido por cajas de problemas constantes en la instalación, espumas y muy pocos servicios como el jabón en los baños, el champú y los kits que normalmente se suministran y para tenerlos tenemos Tenía que preguntar por bien 3 veces. Estos problemas afectan sin ninguna excepción tanto las habitaciones estándar como las superiores/deluxe. El desayuno pobre y decepcionante con cornetas claramente sobregeladas y crostas que surgieron muchos días antes, así como café ahogado. Recuerda con nostalgia los buenos tiempos en los que el desayuno fue servido con cantidades y calidad sorprendentes! La sala de desayuno frío con chasis apagada y con la dificultad del niño todo hacer en la gestión de cada situación al mismo tiempo. El equilibrio entre la calidad y el precio no es absolutamente igual. Al pagar, el día del check-out, nos han hecho pagar incluso los centavos mínimos. La puerta de entrada siempre cerrada y cada entrada y salida pasamos unos 10 minutos a tocar para hacernos sentir. Estamos realmente decepcionados porque una estructura de este tipo merecería mucho, pero mucho más.

We stayed at this country hotel for 2 nights and it was truly a dream stay. The staff are really friendly and do their best to accommodate your needs. The rooms and all areas of the hotel are very clean. We arrived there late and they managed to accommodate us for dinner with a last minute reservation. The food is really good and the breakfast has a varied selection of cold cuts and sweets. The pool area is really nice and ideal for relaxation. Parking was not a problem and very secure as it was part of the property. We will surely visit again.
