This was the last hotel we stayed at after travelling around Thailand for 2 weeks as a family of 3. The Pool Villas are beautiful and spacious but the outside pool and decking areas are looking tired and money does need to be spent on replacing the decking / pool tiles. Despite the above the hotel is set amoungst tranquil mangroves, scattered with lotus and lilies and the bird life is great! The main pool seems to be the hub and the staff here are friendly and helpful. The beach is quite steep with fairly big waves - so we didn’t spend much time here. You can use the resorts bicycles which makes a fund way to explore. Waking out of the resort you will find Turtle Village which has shops and restaurants if you fancy something different, or across the road is the sister hotel Avani which you can dine at too. The staff here go above and beyond to offer 5 star plus service and we could not fault the service and smiles received by them! Dinner at Sea, Fire, Salt was out of this world!!

Accommodation was very comfortable and well provided with drinking water, toiletries, washer/dryer and clean. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. On my last day was unwell and they helped to buy medication from nearby pharmacy. Ensured I was comfortable till I recovered well enough to fly back 👍

Adoro todas las actividades que se ofrecen en este resort - grandes piscinas con diapositiva, cómoda para ir a la playa y también tuvo actividades de playa complimentarias (kayak, paddleboard, etc.). Muchas cosas que hacer en y alrededor, ni siquiera tenía que dejar el hotel en absoluto. Amar el refugio de la tortuga y alimentar a las tortugas fue una cosa divertida a hacer. Habitaciones y hojas limpias, gran trabajo hecho por el mantenimiento de la casa en general. La extensión del desayuno también era grande, así fue la cocina y el bistro abajo. ¡Adorado nuestro corto camino y el 100% volverá!

El hotel supera las expectativas, el precio es muy alto, la suite doble con estilo doméstico perfecta, el servicio es bueno, se sienta en una playa preciosa y el atardecer, la zona de vacaciones es grande, hay tres piscinas, la piscina central y el divertido. No hay mucho que elegir en las tiendas de restaurantes cercanas, hay una barrera de la carretera del tesoro, cerca del aeropuerto, cerca del puerto de Smilan, es conveniente ir a la ciudad con coches o paquetes, es una buena opción para las vacaciones.

El hotel está chulo, pero si quieres tranquilidad...te la juegas. Digo esto. porque justo en la villa de enfrente nos tocó una familia terriblemente ruidosa y con muy pocos modales!! Nos quejamos a la recepción del escándalo más de 4 veces y no surgió mucho efecto. Por otro lado nos compensaron con una cena. Pero la mala noche no me la quita nadie y el disgusto de tener en un sitio idílico, una discoteca cutre dentro de tu villa!!. He de decir que caminamos por todo el recinto y no se oía a nadie montar escándalo. Tuvimos mala suerte. Puntos buenos: las villas preciosas con su piscina. El desayuno bueno pero con mucha gente. Tienes 7-eleven en la puerta!!. Esta comunicado con el Hotel Avani y el otro Anatara. Tiene muchas actividades para realizar y ponen cine en la piscina. Los precios no son muy caros. Lo malo: check in a las 16.00h!!! Todo el día perdido... Limpian las habitaciones muy tarde...aunque les pongas que pueden hacértela a las 8.00h. Nos vinieron a limpiar a las 16.30h y porque llamamos 3 veces. Son muy permisivos con algunos clientes. Alrededor no hay mucho que hacer. Cierto que tienen transfer de pago a Phuket Town y a un centro comercial de la zona. En resumen, empezamos mal pero hemos acabado mejor. Nos han dejado el check out a las 18.00h. Seguimos disfrutando de nuestra villa. No sé si volveremos. El taxi hacia el aeropuerto 500 baths.

This hotel set the bar really high for us. The grounds and surroundings are stunning, everywhere is very well maintained and looked after. We had a balcony room which we much preferred to a private pool villa because the main pool area is so chilled and had no trouble getting loungers. The bar staff bring round free smoothies and water all day long- really lovely. The room was spacious, modern and had everything we needed. We got to choose what scent was in the room and what pillow type we would like. The little details of this hotel were superb. They provided sandals, sun hat and beach bags in the room. The bathroom utilities were clean and maintained with a very large day bed and bath on the balcony. The whole room is very boutique- simply beautiful. The staff were all lovely, very helpful and very responsive using the messaging app provided by the hotel. Now, I must mention the food. THE BEST hotel restaurant food we’ve had in Thailand and actually abroad. Every meal we had couldn’t be faulted- it was delicious, well thought out, flavoursome and good quality ingredients. Breakfast was also beautiful, everything you could want and need with fresh smoothies, egg station and all the usual pastries/fruit etc. they have a separate menu if you would like more which is reasonable. If you’re looking for a chilled holiday with tranquility in mind, this is your place. There is the small shopping centre down the road and not too far of a taxi ride to phuket but this is definitely more for relaxing. We went on several trips from here so everything is accessible. All in all, you’d be missing out if you don’t book this hotel. We really loved it, and have enquired to return later in the year.

Reservamos nuestra estancia en Melia via Luxury Escapes, que fue un excelente valor para el dinero. El Resort, que es propiedad de una familia local Phuket, está bien mantenido, limpio y el personal es realmente excepcional (con gracias especiales a Pui, Yean, Ae y no olvidar Jay por el gran café). La comida para la mayoría era fantástica, especialmente los deliciosos desayunos, con una gran variedad de opciones disponibles. El hotel es un hotel de 3 estrellas, donde se encuentran los más pequeños de los que se encuentran en el centro de la ciudad. Tenemos una estancia muy relajada y esperamos con seguridad volver un día.

This hotel does not meet service standards of a Le Meridien hotel. Food quality is far below average for a Phuket resort. The staff are friendly and trying hard but severely under trained. We have visited and stayed at over 5 hotels in Phuket and 10 in Thailand over the past three years. This hotel was by a long way the lowest quality, despite being in the higher cost bracket. A few observations: Buffet food is poor with stale breads, limited selection, limited options (even of Thai food), and low quality cuts of meat. Service stations are understaffed, for example I had to find and then wait for a chef to find a lighter to prepare some stir fried vegetables at evening buffet in the ”J's” restaurant. The food would be overpriced if good, at this quality it is highly disappointing. Restaurant staff are undertrained, and do not complete basic jobs e.g. laying cutlery, cleaning away after guests have left the restaurant, checking on drinks refills. Incorrect bills were presented including charging for bottles instead of glasses of wine. On two occasions we noticed food dropped onto the floor remaining there with ants / insects for the whole of our stay over 1 hour and not being cleaned. The pool area has limited seating and hotel patrons wake early to 'reserve' with towels they have kept from the day before. If you wish to sit by the pool I suggest you wake at 7am to reserve your space. The rooms are updated, clean and well maintained. But there is limited hot water which is very variable. The beach is clean, beautiful and the sea is as good as you will find in Phuket. Unfortunately we stayed through the New Year break and the staff did not remove the tables and chairs from the party for nearly a whole day. Maybe excusable, but the plates of food left to rot on the beach for 12+ hours was for sure not acceptable. I'm including a photo of the toaster as an example of the training / management gaps in this property. For three days there was disgusting melted cheese inside the toaster. I pointed out each morning to the staff but they did not take action. Leaving the property was a good example of the gaps here. I asked for a taxi to be booked (it was not offered), and waited for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes I checked with concierge to be told that they had ”told someone else”. As with many of the gaps in this property there is no chain of command, and staff are not clear on their roles. Finally and not 100% relevant to this review, but we attended the New Year beach party. It was a very funny farce. The MC/DJ appeared to be extremely drunk throughout the night, it rained for 30 minutes - there was no plan for rain - guests sat under their napkins - the buffet food became wet and sodden. The food itself was very poor indeed. The entertainment was two dancers and a miming cabaret act, plus the fire show that happens on every week in the hotel. For $200USD per head, I would not recommend attending an event at this hotel under any circ

Es un hotel de granjeros. El entorno es bueno. El cuarto es una habitación de placas. No hay agua caliente (a menudo en Tailandia, miles de yuan no viven). El receptor no puede. Estima que no se entiende que el inglés no es demasiado bueno para reservar en red. La cosa más desagradable es comprobarlo cuando me pregunte por qué pasar El pago de esta manera es que vivía en Tailandia muchas veces. No me voy a ahorrar. Luego, aclaré la habitación que estaba reservando en la plataforma. Dije que no sabía que el trip point com había aprendido un poco de conocimiento. De hecho, no es tan famoso como Trip.com. De lo contrario, también podría sacar el dinero de la ahorro. No me alegra encontrar una excusa para caer en la habitación. Voy a volver a buscar la pista que había puesto en la caja de cama. No me ha pasado más de medio mes de consumo.
