Pphun Pitt khuanWe had a very pleasant stay at Aloft Surabaya Pakuwon. The hotel is new, modern, and very well maintained, with clean rooms and excellent facilities. The bed was very comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep.
The buffet breakfast offered a good variety of food. A special thank you to Mr. Arul, who was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. His warm hospitality made our experience even more enjoyable.
The 24-hour gym is a great bonus for guests who like to work out at any time of the day.
One thing to note is the location. The hotel is next to Pakuwon City Mall, which is different from Pakuwon Mall. If your main destination is Pakuwon Mall, expect about a 40-minute Grab ride depending on traffic.
Overall, we had a great experience at Aloft Surabaya. The comfortable rooms, excellent service, and modern facilities make it a hotel I would happily recommend and stay at again.

UUsuario invitadoEl hotel está conectado a un centro comercial. Muy bien situado. La habitación es limpia. El desayuno en Magnolia tiene una amplia difusión. La calidad de la comida es buena, la buena presentación y el servicio por el personal es excelente. La atmósfera en el salón del Club es agradable. El hotel 5* ofrece un servicio de clase mundial que todos los empleados prestan de forma coherente. No hay personal que no sea amable ni útil. Muchos van a la milla extra para asegurar que las necesidades de los huéspedes del hotel se cuiden bien. Gracias especialmente a Evan del Club Lounge que nos asistió cuando nos ingresamos y Tian cuando nos salieron, Bayu y colegas (Conceige) que nos ayudaron en la orden de la torta de Spikoe lapis y Bu Rudy, Lita y David (Magnolia) que nos sirvieron en nuestra mesa y Bastian y el equipo para mantener la habitación limpia.

Location is very convenient with easy access to nearby amenities and transport. We had a meal in Nishimura is decent — not over the top, but reliable and well-managed.
Overall, a dependable hotel that delivers consistently. Would return again.

UUsuario anónimoI stayed here for 3 nights, and this is my honest review.
The hotel has recently reopened after a complete renovation and rebranding. The staff were excellent. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Check-in took about five minutes because the staff member assisting me seemed new and was carefully following the procedures. I didn’t mind at all, and I was served a delicious welcome drink while waiting. After check-in, a staff member escorted me to my room.
Pros:
1. The rooms have been fully renovated and feel modern.
2. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, even at 26°C.
3. Breakfast exceeded my expectations. Everything I tried was delicious, especially the Indonesian dishes. What impressed me the most was that, even though the hotel was still very quiet and there were only a handful of guests during my stay, they still offered a full breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options. Many hotels would simply serve a limited set menu or deliver breakfast to the room when occupancy is this low, but this hotel maintained a complete buffet from end to end. I really have to give them credit for that.
4. The location is convenient, with Superindo and Indomaret within a 3-minute walk and Pakuwon Mall only about a 9-minute drive away.
5. The lobby is spacious and looks luxurious.
Cons:
1. The TV was by far my biggest disappointment. I stayed in a Deluxe Room, and the TV appeared to be left over from the previous hotel rather than replaced during the renovation. It was very small, around 32 inches, and wasn’t a Smart TV, which feels completely out of place for a hotel that claims to be five-star. The selection of TV channels was also very limited, and the picture quality was poor with noticeable static, making it quite unpleasant during my 3-night stay. The Executive Rooms have larger TVs, but based on the information I received, they are not Smart TVs either because I was told that only the Suite Rooms will have Smart TVs, and those rooms will only become available after the hotel’s grand opening. You can even notice that the hotel doesn’t include any photos of the TV in the Deluxe Room images on its booking page, which almost makes it seem like they’re avoiding showing it. Nowadays, it’s hard to imagine a genuine five-star hotel still using a 32-inch non-Smart TV in its standard guest rooms.
2. Soundproofing isn’t great. I could hear noise from the next room and the nearby mosque.
3. The Wi-Fi was very slow, and mobile signal inside the hotel was also weak.
4. The shower area had no shelf or storage space for personal toiletries, and the floor was extremely slippery. I almost slipped several times while showering. This is something the hotel should address, as it could become a safety hazard.
5. The power outlet next to the bed was already occupied by the bedside lamp, so I had to unplug it every time I wanted to charge my phone.
6. Although there were plenty of power outlets in the room, about half of them didn’t work, which was frustrating.
7. I wasn’t a fan of the pillow and bed linens. While the bed itself was comfortable, the bedsheets felt rough rather than soft. I even noticed that the underside of my arms became itchy whenever they rubbed against the fabric.
8. The hotel was very quiet during my stay. It seems many people still don’t know it has reopened, and I haven’t seen much promotion or any soft opening offers on its website and Instagram account.
Overall:
I enjoyed my stay thanks to the friendly staff, comfortable room, excellent breakfast, and convenient location. However, the TV and Wi-Fi were major drawbacks, and there are still several details that don’t quite meet the standard of a true five-star hotel. At the moment, I would personally rate this hotel as 4.5 stars rather than a full 5-star property. It has great potential, and with improvements to the TVs, internet, room details, and overall quality control, I believe it could truly live up to its five-star positioning.

UUsuario anónimoThe hotel has elegant environment and super clean. I chose this hotel because of its strategic location to several nearby venues. The room provided was also very modern and new (I love the aromatic soap fragrance here). But a little critique for them, we had to wait like an hour before we could check in. They said that they need to clean the room, but actually we checked in at 4 p.m. which is quite long from the previous person's check-out time. I think they could manage their service better in the future.
Notes: There is no swimming pool available, please consider this before book here if you travel with family members who like to swim or so on.

PPolka13This is actually a VERY COOL hotel. As someone who LOVE vintage things, I really appriciate this place. From their historical front building, their vintage styled room, all took me back to the 90s to early 2000. The NOSTALGIA 🥺. When I was little, my grandpa and grandma used to take me travel and stayed at hotels. So hotels like these have a special place in my heart.
Unfortunately, it looked like they really cut down the budget. Although they gave a very cheap price for their room (not more than IDR 250K including breakfast), on WEEKENDS?? But the towels were not white anymore and felt thin (not like other hotel towels), the sheets had tough spots, and no shower cap. But I loveddd the lemongrass soap and shampoo, and they were in dispensers so less plastic waste.
The breakfast was really sad. It was nice when I stayed here around a couple of years ago. But this time it was worse. Not too many options and looked empty. Really felt like they didn't put much effort. Well, what do you expect for that price? And I understand they might be in a very tight budget.
I noticed they added a ”Mini Zoo” signage. A staff warned me that there were not many animals yet. But I decided to go see it. Turned out it was located in the side of the parking road (but outdoor), there were fishes and a big avian animal (like chicken but different, I don't know what it was). And some parakeets in two separate cages, they were all dead 😭😭 I told a staff and they quickly removed the dead birds. Good idea but poor execution.
But anyways, location was top. Just a few meters across the street, there was a bus stop and you can hop on the Suroboyo Bus to go anywhere. And the hotel itself was in a main street of a hot destination (Old Town Surabaya), with historical buildings complex, also with the chinatown nearby.
I really hope they can survive this economy storm. I really love this hotel 🥺.

(+) Ubicado en el centro de la ciudad, con fácil acceso a muchos lugares turísticos de Surabaya. Hay un Indomaret al lado del hotel, lo que también resulta muy práctico. Wisata Rasa, un lugar recomendado para comprar recuerdos comestibles (como almendras crujientes), también está cerca.
(-) Esperaba que Tunjungan Romansa estuviera a poca distancia a pie, pero al parecer está más lejos de lo previsto. Se puede ir andando, pero lleva bastante tiempo, y solo de noche. Caminar durante el día no es muy factible debido al calor de Surabaya.
🏠 Servicios de la habitación
(+) Dispone de TV, escritorio, 3 enchufes, armario con perchas, armario de almacenamiento, caja fuerte, secador de pelo en el baño y hervidor eléctrico. Hay un bidón de agua para rellenar fuera de la habitación.
(-) La iluminación de la habitación es tenue, lo que la hace poco adecuada para trabajar. El inodoro es de baja calidad. No hay nevera. Los cubiertos se proporcionan con cargo adicional.
🏨 Instalaciones del hotel
(+) Excelente desayuno con varias opciones, incluyendo delicias locales como lontong balap. Hay juegos de mesa, mesa de billar pequeña y futbolín. Hay ordenadores en el vestíbulo, aunque no estoy seguro de si funcionan. Se puede guardar el equipaje en recepción después de la salida. Hay baños en el vestíbulo.
(-) El hotel solo proporciona una tarjeta de acceso por habitación, incluso reservando una habitación para dos personas. Tenía muchas ganas de ver el juego de congklak, pero parece que no había suficientes semillas.

Waktu mau mandi mereka lupa kasih handuk .harus di minta dulu .anak saya mesti turun ke resepsionis untuk minta handuk. Air minum cuma di kasih untuk minum bersama di luar kamar. Di kamar mandi nya ada semut hitam ke luar banyak di wastafel. Banyak nyamuk di kamarnya harus minta baygon untuk semprot nyamuk. Harus diperhatikan oleh pihak hotel supaya tamunya nyaman menginap di sana....kami pesan dua kamar ..
