UUsuario invitadoA last-minute decision led me to Erlanghe instead of Snow valley, and I discovered a tranquil and beautiful village. Although many of the original residents have moved away, some still choose to stay. The host, Sister Liu and her husband, are natives. They have lived in this village for decades.They are honest, kind-hearted people who treat their guests like families, running their homestay with sincerity and integrity. Holding onto such simple, genuine beauty is truly rare in this world filled with marketing gimmicks.
They even built a small snow slope across from the house for the kids to play. Sister Liu keeps the rooms impeccably clean, the bathroom has no unpleasant odor at all! The kang (heated bed) was wonderfully warm, and after playing in the snow, lying down on it, I fell asleep almost instantly.
Sister Liu’s dumplings were particularly beautiful, each one identical, and the wrappers had the fragrant of wheat, a flavor I hadn’t tasted in years. The wild mountain vegetables served at dinner were also unique. Sister Liu even specially scrambled eggs for my daughter !
Waking up to a world of glittering white snow was both familiar and strange. Taking a walk around the village, the crisp, crunching sound of footsteps in the snow was incredibly healing. Returning to Sister Liu’s freshly cooked porridge, steamed traditional sourdough buns, and homemade pickles (so delicious I could eat a whole bowl!) made the day utterly satisfying. I really wish I could have stayed a few more days!

He connected with us as soon as we booked our room and guided us seamlessly with transportation to Snow Town. Ari truly went above and beyond ensuring we didn’t miss any of the highlights around Snow Town and that we had an unforgettable stay at his hotel.
The lunch and breakfast were delicious, the rooms were cosy, modern, and well-equipped, and the location was very central perfect for moving around at night. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended.

UUsuario invitadoDespués de investigar y leer reseñas durante mucho tiempo, decidí alojarme en Erlanghe para mi viaje a Xuexiang. Reservé un kang (cama de ladrillo con calefacción) ideal para familias en la casa de huéspedes, ¡y fue fantástico! Era bastante espacioso para dos adultos y un niño. Era nuestra primera vez en un kang, y tanto los niños como los adultos lo encontraron muy original. La casera, una mujer guapa y acogedora, nos añadió a WeChat con antelación y organizó la recogida y el regreso a Yabuli, incluyendo el transporte a Xuexiang, ¡lo que hizo que nuestro viaje con los niños fuera fácil y agradable! La comida en la casa de huéspedes también estaba deliciosa; recomiendo el estofado del noreste, la col agria y picante, etc. Además, en Erlanghe se puede jugar libremente en la nieve, y es un lugar tranquilo y con menos gente, perfecto para familias con niños. Comparado con las multitudes de Xuexiang y las casas de huéspedes carísimas con malas reseñas en general, ¡recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar! ¡La casa de huéspedes incluso proporcionó chaquetas florales tradicionales del noreste para tomar fotos! En resumen, definitivamente vale la pena alojarse en esta casa de huéspedes. Como nuestro itinerario era ajustado y solo pudimos quedarnos una noche, ¡sin duda volvería a ser nuestra primera opción la próxima vez!

PPC5858I booked for a family of 5 (2 adults + 3 kids) for a room from 24 Dec. However we were assigned Room 210, a room with no ventilation (window facing inwards (i.e. wall), where the heat from the heating system were trapped in the room, resulting in a very hot room. We were unable to sleep well due to the heat, we were literally sweating. Feedback to the staff (female which looks like the manager) but were just brushed off that was due to central heating system and different customers may feel that it's not that hot. Well, it's not the same for every room. I feel like telling off the staff to ask her to stay for herself to experience the heat! We took a look at the other rooms (with windows facing outside) when we walked passes and it's not the case. Fortunately we were just staying for 1 night, so we just endure that.
Anybody staying here, ask for the rooms with ventilation and defintely do not take Room 210!

UUsuario anónimoGreat location to stay at... close to the scenic site, just a walk over. There are plenty of restaurants around as well as there's one in the hotel.
Reception was super helpful and warm, offering to book rides for us, as well as telling us of the complimentary breakfast, which we only tried on the second day as we headed out on the first early in the morning before breakfast was ready. Great spread of breakfast, too, when we tried the 2nd day.
The room was very spacious, and we enjoyed the Mahjong table... hand a game or two during the late night.
The room was clean and comfortable.
It is likely one of the best hotels to stay near the north gate of JinPoHu.

DDerf MaizWe stayed at Mountain Talk for four nights and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is strategically located inside Snow Village, making it easy to explore the area, especially during winter. The room was clean, well maintained, and offered a beautiful view of the snow-covered landscape, which made the stay feel extra special.
The environment is very peaceful, perfect for families and travelers who want to relax after a full day in the snow. What truly stood out was the hospitality. The staff, especially Mr. Haizi, was extremely accommodating and helpful. He assisted us many times and made sure our stay was comfortable and smooth from start to finish.
Tips for future guests:
• Choose a room with a window view for the full snow village experience.
• Winter nights can be very cold, so bring proper thermal wear even indoors.
• The location is ideal if you want to enjoy night walks and early morning views without rushing.
• If you need help with transport, schedules, or basic arrangements, do not hesitate to ask the staff. They are very willing to assist.
Overall, Mountain Talk is a cozy and welcoming place to stay, with excellent service and a calm atmosphere. Highly recommended for those visiting Snow Village in winter, especially families.

QQianLinWhile not located directly inside the China Snowtown scenic area, this was not a significant issue. The standout feature here is the complimentary shuttle bus service. It runs to and from the Snowtown attraction upon request. We found it to be extremely convenient and highly punctual; the drivers were professional and the departures were always on schedule.
Our room was spotlessly clean upon arrival. The housekeeping is thorough and consistent—fresh linens, immaculate bathroom, and no dust to be seen anywhere. The room was cozy and had effective heating—a must in this climate.
Reception staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Snowtown.

En cuanto a la ubicación, el hotel está en el centro, el transporte es muy conveniente y hay centros comerciales, restaurantes y atracciones en los alrededores. Tanto si viajas por placer como por negocios, es muy práctico.
Las instalaciones del hotel también son muy completas. La habitación es espaciosa y luminosa, la decoración es sencilla y generosa, y la ropa de cama es cómoda, lo que garantiza un sueño reparador. El baño es limpio e higiénico, el suministro de agua caliente es suficiente y la calidad de los artículos de aseo también es muy buena.
El servicio es un punto a destacar de este hotel. El personal es amable y atento; desde el check-in hasta el check-out, cada detalle crea una atmósfera de intimidad.

El hotel es viejo, el desayuno es delicioso, las chicas que sirven el desayuno son hermosas. Las chicas que se reúnen en la recepción: dos buenos, las otras no educadas. A menudo me quedo en este hotel en el trabajo, y ahora me parado por tercera vez con mi madre, para descansar. Para la madre no son muy cómodos camas, sólidos, cojines sucios, ropa de cama rota, ducha sucia, plástico, es imposible abrir la ventana - ruido de la calle, en la televisión no hay canal ruso, no hay toalla para los pies. El hotel es un hotel de 1 o 2 días, nos quedamos 5 días y no podemos estar cómodos.
