UUsuario anónimoReservé una habitación temporalmente y vine a registrarme aproximadamente por la noche. Antes de venir, le pregunté a la recepción si había estaciones de carga para mi automóvil. La recepción respondió rápidamente por teléfono. El escritorio, Jia Feng, fue muy amable y entusiasta. También me dio un cargador. El desayuno fue muy considerado y la experiencia general de la estadía fue muy buena.

HHenryTengEl hotel está en un barrio residencial muy alejado del centro de la ciudad, por lo que entrar y salir no es muy cómodo a pesar de que hay una estación de metro junto al hotel. Solo hay unas pocas tiendas de conveniencia y pequeños restaurantes en los alrededores. Por lo tanto, no es un buen lugar para los adictos a las compras o para las personas a las que les encanta tener múltiples opciones de comida.

UUsuario invitadoEl equipamiento del hotel es bueno, habitación grande, baño grande, terraza grande. La ubicación es decente. Se tarda unos 15 minutos a pie hasta el lago Qiandeng y los centros comerciales cercanos. Está bastante limpio. Hay lavadora y secadora, lo cual es muy conveniente. Desafortunadamente, el software falló. Cuando llegué a la tienda, ningún personal tomó la iniciativa de contactarme y me dijo que la entrada del hotel era un poco difícil de encontrar. Pida detergente para ropa en la lavadora. En la sala de juegos de los niños es necesario contratar a alguien para encender el aire acondicionado. Los anteriores son todos problemas menores. El mayor problema fue que hubo un corte de energía repentino en medio de la noche y el calor despertó a toda la familia. Más tarde descubrimos que era el sistema de encendido y apagado automático de la habitación. La familia estaba dormida, se pensó que no había nadie en la habitación y automáticamente se cortó la luz. Había uno o dos mosquitos en la habitación, que afectaban gravemente al sueño.

UUsuario invitadoI've stayed in this hotel on prior trips as well. During the Chinese New Year I hotel hop to the best hotels for value since prices go up so much during the 10 days. This hotel is nice, and it has a good breakfast, but it is definitely feeling ”older”. The service at this hotel is not bad, but it isn't as good as I would expect at a Sheraton. I always feel like the front desk staff have a slight ”ego”. And it isn't the ”slightly shy with their English” type of thing that I get at some hotels. Which with that, I COMPLETELY understand. It's always been a smugness. I remember two years ago they were rude to my girlfriend at the time and she is Chinese. A plus of this hotel is you only have to register your car once and can come and go as you please during the entire stay. Most hotels make you register each day or each time you leave. No one explained this to us on the first trip, so when she went to scan again instead of politely letting her know she doesn't need to do that, it was more of a ”ni you bing ma” attitude. This time, no one was rude, but no one was nice either. However the porters do a great job helping pack the luggage in your car. If you're going to be in Shunde, this is a great location, and I like that the room has outdoor space (just remember MOSQUITOS in the warmer months so keep the door closed). I gave the facilities a 4 out of 5 because although the lobby and dining are nice, however the rooms themselves are starting to feel dated. I would gladly stay at this hotel again if it was the lowest price between ATour and Jade. I just wish the front desk staff were a little nicer. I don't need the GREETINGS! I get at St. Regis or Four Seasons, but a little warmth would be nice. And again, I do not think this is the ”English Shy” personality I am getting. I've been coming to China for 10 years and Foshan for 5 and it's almost like more of a ”We want to show we are very professional” but loses any warmth or ”Glad you chose to stay here”. If you compare the other hotels in the area and this is a great price, give it a try. If it's higher than Jade or Atour at Happy Landing, give those a try.

UUsuario invitadoFoshan Travels: when it comes to Foshan or Guangzhou, most people only know Chimelong paradise. However, there is an oasis known as Changlu Holiday Resort 长鹿度假村. Its lesser known and more catered to locals. Advised to come on weekends, once you check in, literally no need to go out liaoz!!
We came during the weekdays and low season, hence it was easier to get an upgrade and no queues for rides. On weekends, however, they have a night parade and activity. Lots of shows, street shopping, food and performances.
Back to the resort. I booked via trip.com. Rooms starts from only $99 per room! Not per person. PER ROOM And includes ALOT!
1. Choice of room. We had initially booked the cave room at $200 per night with tickets for 2 kids. However, due to a natural inclement, we managed to get the underwater room upgrade! Both were great. The underwater room usually cost around $700! And a bigger one at approx $1000!!
Breakfast is included too. I would say not as good as the earlier hotels. But ok la…
2. Tickets to the zoo. You get multiple tickets if you book more than 1 night. Actually 1 day ticket is sufficient as the zoo isn’t very big and could be covered in 1 day. Zoo shows are not included. Regret watching but not expensive.
3. Discount tickets to the circus. Top up about $8 per person. Discount tickets to snow world. As we had experienced similar at the previous hotel, we skipped this. Snow world is another $6 per person.
4. Thrilling amusement rides. Not included but they are not expensive too. Pay by coin credits and they offered buy 1 get 1 value. Works out each ride to be less than $2-$3 a ride only.
5. Affordable and good food offerings. Usually theme parks tend to be expensive. But it’s affordable here. We went to town and realized even cheaper.
6. Unlimited hot spring pools to soak.
7. Beautiful swimming pool (the blue oasis in the pictures is the pool)
8. Steam and sauna access.
And many more!! They have a total of 11 interactive zones here. When people feedback 2day1 night is not enough I kind of thought I might have time to go to town.. well… 3 days 2 night in the resort and we still find it insufficient too. 😅😅😅
With the beautiful underwater room, we spent time going in and out of the room for rest and pool soak multiple times too..
If you ask me which room type is the best, get the cave rooms as they are in the heart of the resort. Easiest to get around.
