UUsuario invitadoWe stayed at the Floral Hotel beside Dream Valley during Chinese New Year, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere in China.
While the location is already a major advantage being just steps away from Dream Valley and close to the other Hengdian attractions - what truly sets this hotel apart is the heart and personality behind it. This is not a typical boutique hotel. It’s a place shaped by the owners’ passion, taste, and genuine care for their guests.
From the moment you arrive, you can feel that the hotel is a labor of love. The architecture and interior design are beautifully curated, with many pieces collected by the owners over the years. Walking through the courtyard and hallways feels like stepping into a different era, almost like entering a scene from the Song dynasty. Yet the rooms themselves are fully modern, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. It’s a rare blend of historical atmosphere and contemporary convenience, and it creates a sense of immersion that you simply don’t get at most hotels in the area.
Even though we didn’t stay in the hotel’s best room, we were extremely comfortable. The beds are very firm - something to keep in mind depending on your preference - but we slept well. The room features a large, modern soaking tub that’s perfect after a long day of walking through the film sets and a separate bathroom and shower. And one of our favorite touches was the smart projector in the room, which turns a simple movie night into a cinematic experience. It’s small details like these that show how much thought has gone into making the stay enjoyable.
But the true highlight of our visit was the hospitality. The owners are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making guests feel welcome. On one rainy day, when there wasn’t much for us to do outside, they invited us into their main hall for tea. They set up a traditional tea table with a heated brazier, creating a cozy, intimate atmosphere that felt like visiting old friends rather than staying at a hotel. They kept bringing local snacks: seeds, small rice cakes, and even freshly cooked sweet potato - all offered freely and with genuine kindness. My wife and kids loved every bit of it. What could have been a dull, rainy afternoon became one of our favorite memories of the entire trip.
Their kindness extended beyond that moment. At one point, we accidentally made a mess in our room (entirely our fault) and the owners helped us clean up without a hint of frustration or judgment. It’s rare to find that level of patience and understanding, especially during the busy holiday season.
Breakfast each morning was another highlight. The hotel has a local cook who clearly takes pride in her craft. The dishes were fresh and simple but full of flavor, prepared with care and attention. You could feel her pride in everything she served. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you slow down and appreciate the home cooked moment, rather than rushing through a buffet line like at larger hotels.
All in all, this hotel was a true win for us. The personal touches, the warmth of the owners, the passion of the cook, and the unique atmosphere created by the carefully collected antiques all come together to create an experience that stands out among the many boutique hotels in the area. In fact, I would say it’s probably better than any other hotel around Hengdian. It’s rare to find a place that feels both deeply rooted in local culture and fully equipped with modern comforts, but this hotel manages to do exactly that.
We would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Hengdian, whether for the parks, the film sets, or simply a relaxing getaway. And if we ever return to the area, we would stay here again without hesitation.

AAthena99Instalaciones: Venir a la tienda de la cama para jugar con suerte a la suite, el suelo está caliente y el aire acondicionado se abre, el invierno es muy caliente. La cama es muy grande, el espacio es amplio y brillante, la cabeza de la cama es muy variada, el masaje y el sabor son muy buenos 😎
Higiene: limpia y limpia
Ambiente: no está lejos del palacio de Wang, el valle del sueño y la zona de paisaje del río Qingming, y puede caminar por la calle

El desayuno es muy rico. El transporte es conveniente y está cerca de varias atracciones.
Actualización gratuita a suite para padres e hijos. La habitación es muy grande, está separada de las áreas secas y húmedas y es completamente inteligente.
Se recomienda sustituir el secador de pelo por uno mejor e instalar perchas en el baño.
Nos alojamos aquí por dos noches y la experiencia fue cómoda, aprobado.

UUsuario invitadoHotel room is very clean and well maintained. All items are in good working order. Very comfortable stay. Staff at counter and at entrance is helpful and nice. However in f&b section for breakfast, the staff service attitude could be better. The staff cooking noodles gave my noodles to other customers and didn't even apologise after I asked her where's mine. She just said plainly she will cook again. The main hall area has no seats for guests to sit while waiting for taxi or friends. Only 3 seats at the side of the hotel counter. Its really inconvenient for guests who are waiting for friends or taxi. The hotel needs to place more seats for guests at the main hall area.

XXingxingdiandeng_2324Ven aquí a buscar estrellas... El Home Inn es realmente económico y no demasiado caro. Aunque la habitación es un poco pequeña, el ambiente es muy agradable.
La recepcionista del primer piso también fue muy amable. Le pedí que hiciera lo posible por encontrar una habitación en un piso un poco más alto que no diera a la calle, ¡y me la encontró!

XXDaphneXJust a 15min straight line walk down the street to Qing Ming Shang He Tu. There is a lobby drop off area so it's easier to pinpoint where to pick up and drop off on Didi. Service is good and facilities are all relatively new. There are 4 washers and 4 dryers and you can scan the QR Code and click a button for them to notify you to go downstairs to collect your items once the machine is done washing/dryer. If you like to order ******* delivery, there is also the robot to send your items up. As usual, this hotel brand never disappoints.

Nada más entrar, me envolvió el relajante ambiente mediterráneo. 🌊 La combinación de colores azul y blanco de la habitación era refrescante y acogedora, con detalles meticulosos como puertas y ventanas arqueadas y adornos con motivos marinos (platos con forma de estrella de mar, cajas de pañuelos con forma de velero) que realzaban la atmósfera. La habitación estaba impecable, la ropa de cama era suave y cómoda, y el servicio, atento. Elegir este lugar durante mi visita a Hengdian fue sin duda una decisión acertada; ya se lo he recomendado a mis amigos, ¡y sin duda volveré! ✨
