The location is good. The hotel interior desires really nice or decorate by antique furniture and the lighting is very nice. You can take a lot of photo in the ground floor and corridor. The room is the same as what I see in the website decoration is nice and clean. We went in May and the weather is hot and the hotel air condition is this is good enough. We got upgraded to bigger room and the washroom is very big. The receptionist and or the hotel butler ( I forgot adked her name) is very friendly and helpful. I would like to said thank you to her. The hotel provided free breakfast. It tastes good. We lived 2 nights and they very early in the morning that we cannot catch up the breakfast time. The hotel butler prepared takeout for us so that we can have it in airport. The breakfast included congee, homemade sausage, fruit, milk. It all tasted good. I definitely will recommend to all my friend. I will book again when I come back..

Very friendly and great hospitality by the owners. They are friendly and helpful and gave us a food and attraction strategy guide which was very useful as our purpose in Hengdian was to visit the major filming studios. The estate was located deep in a neighbourhood area and we have a small problem locating the front entrance desk. Currently they are still doing upgrading to the estate with gardens and swimming pool (refer to photo). I'm sure it will look amazing once completed. The estate was built in 2023 from the ground up and was designed by the same designer who did the Qin Palace. No wonder this homestay has this ancient building look. The room was pretty nice but I find the bed to be too stiff. I'm used to a soft and cushy kind of bed back home and couldn't sleep well for the 3 nights we are there. My family members have no such problem though. Homemade breakfast was provided everyday by 1 of the cleaner cum cook lady. She was super friendly and the food are fantastic and healthy. This is definitely worth a look if you are looking for accomodation in Hengdian and want to experience a more localised feel compared to a standard hotel stay.

We stayed at the Floral Hotel beside Dream Valley during Chinese New Year, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere in China. While the location is already a major advantage being just steps away from Dream Valley and close to the other Hengdian attractions - what truly sets this hotel apart is the heart and personality behind it. This is not a typical boutique hotel. It’s a place shaped by the owners’ passion, taste, and genuine care for their guests. From the moment you arrive, you can feel that the hotel is a labor of love. The architecture and interior design are beautifully curated, with many pieces collected by the owners over the years. Walking through the courtyard and hallways feels like stepping into a different era, almost like entering a scene from the Song dynasty. Yet the rooms themselves are fully modern, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. It’s a rare blend of historical atmosphere and contemporary convenience, and it creates a sense of immersion that you simply don’t get at most hotels in the area. Even though we didn’t stay in the hotel’s best room, we were extremely comfortable. The beds are very firm - something to keep in mind depending on your preference - but we slept well. The room features a large, modern soaking tub that’s perfect after a long day of walking through the film sets and a separate bathroom and shower. And one of our favorite touches was the smart projector in the room, which turns a simple movie night into a cinematic experience. It’s small details like these that show how much thought has gone into making the stay enjoyable. But the true highlight of our visit was the hospitality. The owners are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making guests feel welcome. On one rainy day, when there wasn’t much for us to do outside, they invited us into their main hall for tea. They set up a traditional tea table with a heated brazier, creating a cozy, intimate atmosphere that felt like visiting old friends rather than staying at a hotel. They kept bringing local snacks: seeds, small rice cakes, and even freshly cooked sweet potato - all offered freely and with genuine kindness. My wife and kids loved every bit of it. What could have been a dull, rainy afternoon became one of our favorite memories of the entire trip. Their kindness extended beyond that moment. At one point, we accidentally made a mess in our room (entirely our fault) and the owners helped us clean up without a hint of frustration or judgment. It’s rare to find that level of patience and understanding, especially during the busy holiday season. Breakfast each morning was another highlight. The hotel has a local cook who clearly takes pride in her craft. The dishes were fresh and simple but full of flavor, prepared with care and attention. You could feel her pride in everything she served. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you slow down and appreciate the home cooked moment, rather than rushing through a buffet line like at larger hotels. All in all, this hotel was a true win for us. The personal touches, the warmth of the owners, the passion of the cook, and the unique atmosphere created by the carefully collected antiques all come together to create an experience that stands out among the many boutique hotels in the area. In fact, I would say it’s probably better than any other hotel around Hengdian. It’s rare to find a place that feels both deeply rooted in local culture and fully equipped with modern comforts, but this hotel manages to do exactly that. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Hengdian, whether for the parks, the film sets, or simply a relaxing getaway. And if we ever return to the area, we would stay here again without hesitation.

El servicio es muy entusiasta y puntual. A mi hija le gusta mucho el servicio de robots del hotel. Es muy divertido. El desayuno es muy rico. El transporte es conveniente y está cerca de varias atracciones. Actualización gratuita a suite para padres e hijos. La habitación es muy grande, está separada de las áreas secas y húmedas y es completamente inteligente. Se recomienda sustituir el secador de pelo por uno mejor e instalar perchas en el baño. Nos alojamos aquí por dos noches y la experiencia fue cómoda, aprobado.

A superb Shanghai theme hotel right next to Shanghai theme park. Very nice and comfortable stay. All items are in good working order. Hotel is nice to provide us with fresh fruits. The bellboy was very nice and friendly. He provided the best service to guide us how to go to the park. A very beautiful hotel that is new, well maintained and affordable. It's not near to any shops though so location is not so convenient if want to go out. This pic shows the view from the my hotel room. So scenic.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hengdian, Half Summer. It’s not too crowded, I don’t have to wait for the lift for too long unlike in a hotel. Check in was a breeze. The staff there were friendly and helpful. For breakfast, you can choose either Chinese style or western style. I preferred the Chinese style breakfast. The bed was comfortable and I was able to have a good sleep every night. The shower always had hot water, even the basin as well. Basic toiletries were provided. The staff even provided complimentary mineral water (daily) and fruits as well. I could also order food delivery. The location is wonderful. I took a high speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Yiwu station, then from Yiwu station, I took a cab to 凌云 Lingyun Metro/Light Rail station. Then I took the metro/light rail from 凌云 Lingyun to 明清宫 Ming Qing Palace. Once I exit the metro/Light Rail station, I took didi to the hotel directly. From the hotel, it is only a 10-15 mins walk to 2 local night markets and bubble tea shops. Not to mention that the attractions are also just a short didi away. The only thing that I hoped they provided was local tv channels. They do have a projector, but one would have to subscribe to watch local shows.

Ubicación perfecta, desde el aereopuerto llegas en metro en unos 35 min promedio, y en Didi en 30 min al hotel; el hotel está entre dos estaciones del metro, llegas en unos 7 min caminando, no está en la primera planta sino en la 15, aquí la recepción te da la bienvenida en colores rojos, los recepcionistas son muy amables y pacientes cuentan con traductor para hacerte la vida más fácil, hay cuarto de lavado para quienes van por varios días, el cuarto amplio y buenas vistas, también cuentan con un mirador desde el piso 15, el ruido no se percibe en la habitación. Tienes alrededor muchos puntos que puedes visitar caminando como el museo de los palillos, centros comerciales,casa de té, te encontrarás en medio de dos estaciones de metro que te dan acceso a movilidad para ir a otros puntos de interés, el teatro 1940 a 35 min en metro, caminado todo lo demás como lo es el show de drones el día sábado, a hongyadong está en frente, liziba a unas pocas estaciones del metro, sobre esa misma línea llegas al zoológico y si eres drama llover pues también al famoso restaurante de fideos, templos, zona con muchos comercios y sin miedo a los callejones, ahí encontrarás lugares únicos de comida, uff no te alcanzará el tiempo. ¡Esta estancia fue una grata sorpresa! Nada más entrar, me envolvió el relajante ambiente mediterráneo. 🌊 La combinación de colores azul y blanco de la habitación era refrescante y acogedora, con detalles meticulosos como puertas y ventanas arqueadas y adornos con motivos marinos (platos con forma de estrella de mar, cajas de pañuelos con forma de velero) que realzaban la atmósfera. La habitación estaba impecable, la ropa de cama era suave y cómoda, y el servicio, atento. Elegir este lugar durante mi visita a Hengdian fue sin duda una decisión acertada; ya se lo he recomendado a mis amigos, ¡y sin duda volveré! ✨

La habitación doble que reservamos era muy grande y tenía mucho espacio para guardar nuestro equipaje. Tan pronto como entramos al hotel, había una ligera fragancia. En general, estaba muy limpio. Mi amigo y yo vinimos a Hengdian a buscar estrellas. , por lo que fue más conveniente quedarse en este hotel. En el siguiente piso, gire a la derecha y encontrará el mercado nocturno en Hengdian, donde las celebridades van con mayor frecuencia. Gire a la izquierda y encontrará el mercado nocturno de Wansheng South Street, que tiene. Hay mucha comida deliciosa y también es conveniente ir a lugares pintorescos. Puedes tomar un taxi en solo unos minutos o montar en un pequeño burro eléctrico. Hay muchos autos pequeños y verdes en la planta baja. Hengdian😌 ¡La señora de la recepción es muy servicial y nos dirá todo lo que le pidamos! Y están muy entusiasmados ❤️ ¡Es realmente conveniente venir a Hengdian a perseguir estrellas!
