Las habitaciones son muy espaciosas aunque necesitan una modernización en el mobiliario y especialmente en el baño. La limpieza es muy buena. El desayuno correcto, aunque algún producto más -mejor cardiosaludable- estaría bién. El personal és muy amable y atento; tuve un pequeño inconveniente y lo resolvieron inmediatamente. Ofrecer bicicletas gratis o bién a un precio reducido sería un plus a tener en cuenta. La relación calidad-precio se queda un poco corta en mi opinión.

Never again. We came here for a quick drink and something to eat because we were stuck in traffic on our way to Utrecht. I have been going to van der Valk hotels for years. We have dined or stayed at several this week alone such as Dordrecht, Blijdorp and de Bilt. As such I am used to a specific level of service at van der Valk establishments. This one did not deliver. We waited a long time to be seated. Once the bartender saw that none of the young serving staff were going to seat us, he took it upon himself and served us our drinks and took our order. We would have liked some coffee afterwards, but the serving staff completely ignored us. We therefore decided to forego coffee and pay. A young lady came to clear our table and I asked her for the bill. She said she’d bring it right after she brought our plates to the kitchen. Unfortunately, one of the young male receptionists decided to take his break at a table at the far end of the restaurant right as she came out of the kitchen, and she decided that sitting at the table and flirting with him was more important. None of the other staff were anywhere to be seen. She finally decided to get back to work 20 minutes later. I got up and walked to the bar where all the serving staff were now standing and asked for the bill, again. I then got a snarky answer from one of the male servers that his colleague was currently printing it. I replied that she had been “printing it” at the table at the far end of the restaurant for the last 20 minutes and that I was done waiting for it. It took another 5 minutes and the same young male server ended up bringing us the bill. She did not have the courage nor the decency to own up to her mistake and apologize in person. Instead, she sent out a colleague to possibly take the heat from dissatisfied customers for her rudeness. When we left, all of the serving staff had made themselves scarce. I am sure other customers would have just left without paying instead of waiting a total of 25 minutes for the bill. As said in the beginning, I will not be visiting this particular van der Valk again. There are others close by with much better service that this young staff should take as an example!

Muy satisfecho, el hotel es muy adecuado para viajar en coche. Alquilamos un automóvil y lo condujimos al otro lado del molino de viento para niños al día siguiente. Originalmente, la tarifa de la habitación no incluía el desayuno, pero no sabía cómo darnos dos desayunos, que también estaban muy ricos. Aunque las instalaciones del hotel son antiguas, pero el saneamiento es excelente, el entorno circundante también es muy bueno

Tendrá que dar este hotel cinco estrellas. Está ticking todas las cajas. Bien equipada habitación con ventanas que abre para permitir aire fresco en la habitación. Separar el baño y la ducha. Control climático y un refrigerador. La habitación era muy limpia y la cama estaba muy cómoda. El hotel está muy bien situado, muy bien situado y muy cerca de la ciudad.

El hotel es histórico, por lo que tiene escaleras angostas y detalles hermosos. Esta muy bien situado, en el centro de la ciudad. Eso permite moverse con facilidad para cenar y pasear. El desayuno no es tan variado pero tiene lo justo y de calidad. La ambientación del hotel es exquisita.

Mi niño más viejo y yo estaban viendo una universidad en los Países Bajos. Así que nos quedamos por 3 noches. Estabamos un poco preocupados por la seguridad y el ruido debido a que somos viajeros solitarios, etc. pero no teníamos que estar. Estabamos en la parte superior hasta la calle. Nos sentíamos inseguros. La ducha era muy buena. El personal era muy agradable. No tenían ninguna preocupación por la seguridad. Ellos tenían un secador de lavandería que era muy agradable. Fuimos a la noche de música que tenían y era muy agradable. Recibimos desayuno uno de los días y encontramos un buen valor. El lugar era limpio. Los secador de pelo no funcionaban mal. Pero, además, no hay otras cuestiones.

Este hotel ya me ha permitido visitar en el pasado. Había que ser un poco viejo, necesitaba una actualización y eso fue un éxito! Bella habitación, fresca, agradable servicio y una fantástica vista. Un lugar muy agradable y sigue siendo una buena ubicación. Un consejero, el tranvía y el metro junto a la puerta.

El hotel está situado en el centro de la ciudad, a 5 horas de la noche del medio de julio, a la estación de tren, a los restaurantes y a las atracciones. El 19 de julio, tomamos las bicicletas para un viaje en Kinderdijk, que se encuentra a unos 20 km de autobús. Una de las bicicletas se sentía lento desde el principio, pero atribuimos el problema a los neumáticos subinflacionados. Desafortunadamente, no era el problema. Hacía un ruido de ping-pong cuando se puso en la parte de atrás como en el reverso de una carrera de bicicleta en el ferry. El hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado. El hotel es diferente, curioso, acojedor y bonito por dentro. Está muy bien situado. Han sido amables y el proceso de check-in y check-out muy rápidos y cómodos. El único inconveniente es un ruido muy fuerte que tuvimos en nuestra habitación (la última de la planta baja) hacia las 23:30h cuando intentábamos dormir y desde las 8:00h que nos ha despertado. No sé de qué es, parece algo del hotel, no de otros huéspedes, pero era muy intenso, repetitivo y molesto impidiendo dormir.

When we arrived the reception was empty. There was not even a welcome drink in the room. The cleanliness of the hotel in general and the room in particular left a lot to be desired. Nothing you would expect from a 5 star hotel.The room was horribly decorated. The rug under the bed was completely crooked, and a wooden lamp that almost pierced my eyes twice. Over the bed there was a button that said do not disturb with a night light so bright it was impossible to sleep well. The bedroom furniture was old and chipped.The bathtub had one of the faucets broken.The hotstone massage was one of the worst ever. Impossible to relax when the masseuse tries to make conversation and makes so much noise with the stones that it is impossible to relax even 1 min. The pool was okay. The rest of the SPA we did not try.We booked dinner at reception but when we arrived at the restaurant there was no reservation. The rest was across the street from the hotel, very uncomfortable having to go out to dinner in another building, especially on a cold and rainy day. But the worst was yet to come. We asked if it would be possible to make a bowl of rice or pasta for our 3 year old daughter but they refused. What restaurant, much more than 5 stars, refuses to make a simple rice for a child? Neither the poorest restaurant nor a 3 star hotel. Then we ordered fondue for two. When the waitress brought us the food came a plate with 5 small pieces of grilled meat and a tiny bowl of fries. When we said that it was not what we had ordered, but the fondue, they told us that the restaurant no longer made fondue. But then why was it on the menu? Why didn't the employee who served us the first time inform us that there was no fondue? As the dish that came was very little food for 2 adults and 1 child, we ordered another steak. Waiting another 30 min. When the waitress came with the plate, she dumped the fries all over the floor. We had to wait a little longer for the fries.The steak was good but for 30€ you expected a little more than 5 tiny strips of meat and a small bowl of pre-fried supermarket potatoes. Needless to say, our 3 year old daughter ate very poorly.Definitely untrained and very unfriendly staff.Breakfast was mediocre for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast at the level of a 2 star pension. 5 star hotel has absolutely nothing. At most 3 stars and already very forced. In the end they wanted to charge us 15€ for the car park when the reservation we made on booking.com said that the car park was free. As we complained about the bad service they did, they decided to withdraw the 15€ from the final bill and the two tonic waters we drank for dinner. Hotel not recommendable at all.
