Hoteles en San Carlo all'Arena, Nápoles

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in September. The balcony rooms are really nice and have a great view of Mt. Vesuvius. The roof top terrace is amazing and has a view of all of Naples. It stays open until 11pm. Free parking is located inside of the gates of the hotel so you don't have to worry having your car broken into. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are nice and spacious. They are a little dated but that is part of the charm. Breakfast can be had inside or outside on the patio. Breakfast was good but the eggs weren't kept warm. There is a microwave there to zap them so it wasn't a problem. Great coffee and fruit as well. The best part of the stay was the staff. Serena at the front desk was super pleasant and helpful with all our requests. Salvatore in the restaurant was great as well. This hotel is not in the main part of downtown, but a perfect place if you have a car. We never drove our car during the stay-just took cabs to where we wanted to go. You really don't want to drive anymore than you have to in this city! Stopping at stop signs is optional and mopeds zipping all around and in front of you-not for the faint of heart! It is close to the airport if you are flying out of Naples. We loved this place!

Our room was nicely spacious and well furnished. The bed was comfortable, there was a good sized wardrobe and a decent desk. The room was beautifully decorated, fresh and spotlessly clean. The bathroom had a good shower, and was roomy plus, again, very well decorated. Also came with a hairdryer on the wall which I was very happy with. We didn't actually meet the owner but they were very helpful on WhatsApp. The internet was good once we realised logging into the named internet with our floor number made it stronger. Despite the cosmetic looks of the area we did actually feel safe and found the locals to be very friendly and helpful (although English is not prevalent). If you are visiting the Tabbaco shop at the bottom of the hill sells bus tickets but is shut on Sundays. Next door the mini supermarket is very well priced (well compared to UK prices). The buses leave from opposite the little newsstand (back side of it not the front) and head to Naples Central in about 15mins. Taxi from the Central Station was a maximum of 16euro and from the airport 30euro I can not comment on value for money as we booked a package deal but despite the location I would stay again because it was so nice, stylish, quiet and comfortable. Mi segunda vez en este hotel,limpio, lindo, el desayuno variado y riquísimo, pero la atención es increíble!! Me siento como en casa,lo recomiendo 100%! Esta cerca del metro y de la estación de trenes, te movemos fácil por la zona, y no es peligroso! Ciro un genio con los mejores cafés y la tencion en el bar del hotel! Que tiene una hermosa terraza! Gabriel muy atento en todo,Giuliana y Sellitti te hacen sentir en familia y unos genios sin dudarlo volveré!! Gracias por hacer unas hermosas vacaciones!

Buen hotel de 3.5 estrellas (no llega a 4 reales). Las habitaciones son más bien pequeñitas pero no importa demasiado si sólo lo usas para dormir. El desayuno también es justo (pocas opciones de salado y de zumos; no hay opciones de leche de soja o avena, etc.) y encima te lo tienen que servir ellos con la 'excusa' del COVID, por lo que al final acabas comiendo menos que si te sirvieras tú mismo. El Wi-Fi es gratis y va bastante rápido. La ubicación es ideal pues está muy cerca del puerto (por si quieres ir a Capri o Ischia), al lado de una parada de tranvia y a 8-10 minutos andando a paso normal de la estación de metro y de tren (Circumvesuviana) por si quieres visitar el centro de la ciudad o las ruinas de Pompeya, Herculano y Sorrento, respectivamente. En definitiva, buen hotel si se encuentra una oferta por un precio económico pero teniendo el cuenta el tamaño de las habitaciones y el desayuno algo justo (eso sí, los dulces y croissants muy buenos y el expresso de la cafetera del bar una delicia).

El hotel está enfrente de la estación de tren y el tráfico es muy conveniente, no muy lejos del centro de la ciudad. Nápoles es una ciudad apta para pasear por la carretera mientras se mira y se come. Pero lo único malo es que la plaza de la estación de tren se ve sucia y ruidosa, y hay puestos nocturnos que son muy ruidosos. Si no está cansado y se queda dormido, no podrá dormir en absoluto. Si es una persona o una niña, no es adecuado aloj**** en este hotel. Todavía hay muchas opciones de hoteles, pero la higiene no es mala, hay un último piso para ver el paisaje.

Hotel con muy buena ubicación, habitaciones y baño totalmente renovados y cómodos, buena limpieza, lugar muy agradable, personal profesional. Hablan español, Wi-Fi gratuito. Desayuno de calidad, buen bufet completo. Buen café y repostería. Hemos estado 2 amigas y queremos hacer una mención especial a Francheska que atiende el comedor con muchas ganas de complacer al cliente con mucha amabilidad. Si volvemos a Nápoles no dudaremos en hospedar nos en este hotel

This was my most expensive booking while in Naples for a short holiday. There were some really good aspects to the hotel offering - a very central location next to Garibaldi and a really nice rooftop sundeck pool and bar (although I’m not entirely clear why the sides of the sundeck have been camouflaged with fake foilage, completely blocking out the view across the city). However, my room was really disappointing for the price. While large, and clean, with big traditional balcony windows looking over the street, there were problems throughout the space which demonstrated a lack of attention and care. The toilet flush was broken, with the short flush not working and the main flush jamming so you had to push it several times to shut off the flow. The settee was filthy and needed a good clean. The walls were scuffed and dirty. There were no instructions for the air con. And all the lights bar one in the ceiling were broken. There were slippers but no dressing gown. There was no soap in the bathroom to allow you to wash your hands properly Moreover, the large space was just really under designed. It felt bare and quite soulless, when with some thought it could have been turned into a really lovely space, perhaps with a coffee table to allow one to make meaningful use of the settee etc. generally I was just disappointed given the price and star rating. What is worse, when I explained the issues to the receptionist at the end of my stay he just stared blankly at me and then asked me for the city tax, and in the end I felt forced uncomfortably to ask him explicitly if he had an apology and some kind of explanation for me regarding the issues I had identified. This kind of anti-customer service is entirely unacceptable for any hotel, and it really summarises the underlying problems with this place - claiming to be a luxury hotel when it really isn’t, sadly. Oh, and breakfast fine but not outstanding. Too much cheap processed food (ie cake and dry biscuits) and not enough hot food and healthy options like fresh fruit.

Reservé este hotel a través de una agencia y en el último momento por lo que no tenía un recibo de las condiciones del contrato de la habitación. Primero como puntos positivos el hotel está muy bien situado justo al lado de la estación central a cinco minutos te puedes mover por todo Nápoles y por toda la costa cogiendo el tren o el bus sin ningún problema en cinco minutos. La habitación dúplex a dos alturas para cuatro personas estaba también muy bien muy amplia una buena habitación con un piso para nosotros y otro piso para los niños. Tenían los media pensión el desayuno regular y la cena de buena calidad pero quizás un poco escasa para nuestro gusto y para lo que habíamos pagado. En segundo lugar las cosas negativas ,entiendo que el hotel se haya inaugurado en 1948 eso le da un encanto a antiguo y precioso pero eso no justifica la falta de servicios ,de limpieza y de mantenimiento. Las habitaciones huelen a humedad las vistas son un patio cerrado el baño los desagües la ducha está todo sucio y sin mantenimiento no tiene nevera en la habitación si tiene el sitio pero no nevera. En la media pensión te entra comida y postre y agua pero el postre siempre el mismo Tata de chocolate y rabata napolitana un día les preguntamos si había otra cosa y nos pusieron fruta y una bola pequeñita de helado con cristales de hielo y nos cobraron 23€ sin avisarnos antes que no entraba en el menú. Fui A quejarme a recepción y me cobraron 110€ más de un impuesto municipal al turista. Como no tenía el resguardo de la reserva tuve que pagarles todo lo que me dijeron con todas las condiciones que ellos me dijeron.un abuso. El personal de recepción se limitaba a hacer su trabajo sin moj**** en tus problemas ni el último día les avise para que nos llamarán a las 3,30 para ir al aeropuerto y pasaron del tema menos mal que habíamos puesto todos nuestros despertadores en el móvil, lo que sí hicieron bien fue pedirnos un taxi transfer aprecio cerrado para ir al aeropuerto. En definitiva una buena habitación en un buen hotel mal cuidado mal atendido y mal gestionado volveremos a Nápoles pero no a ese hotel.

Este hotel dice que es 3 estrellas y de eso no tiene nada, le daría 1 y de casualidad. Las fotos de este hotel engañan, las habitaciones con camas redondas y sábanas cuadradas que no calzan. El baño nada bien mantenido y sucio. La ubicación es céntrica pero el barrio es horrible, lleno de negros vendiendo en la calle. Da miedo regresar de noche. El wifi no nos llegaba a la habitación, no puedo decir si funcionaba o no. Nooo volvería nunca a este hotel.
