Finding a place to smoke a nice cigar in Munich is difficult. This is a nice room, but tends to get quite crowded towards the evening, with lots of cigarette smokers stepping in for a short smoke as well. They usually don't serve drinks inside the cigar lounge, but will bring them to the cashier outside and you then need to carry them inside youself (presumably to protect the server from being exposed to the smoke). The lounge though is quite nice and if when you finally get your drink is a very enjoyable place to tend to your cigar.

El servicio en Bayerischer Hof comienza fuera, cuando llegan por coche: cuidan de su equipaje y toman las llaves para estacionar su coche. Me gusta demasiado este hotel. Se encuentra a 15 minutos a pie de la estación central de trenes. Cruce la calle peatonal. No tome un taxi. Se puede acceder a él mediante la navegación del teléfono móvil. Es un hotel de estilo muy europeo. El ambiente, el servicio y el desayuno son muy buenos. Muy recomendable. Hay una parada de taxis a la entrada del hotel, lo que facilita el desplazamiento en taxi. El hotel en sí está a la salida de la calle peatonal, ¡las compras también son invencibles!

Situado en el centro, a unos 20 minutos andando de Marienplatz. Amplio aparcamiento por 20 EUR/24 horas. Habitaciones modernas, funcionales y limpias. Lamentablemente por la noche se oía mucho ruido en el pasillo. El desayuno tenía mucha variedad, estaba muy ocupado, pero todo se reponía inmediatamente.

Estuve 3 noches en este hotel . Muy buena ubicación , no en el mismo centro de la ciudad , pero cercano , se puede ir caminando o si se prefiere el metro, hay 2 estaciones muy cerca , la mas cercana es Rosenheimer Platz . Desde la Haupbahnof el taxi vale aproximadamente 19 euros . El sector es tranquilo, en la noche muy silencioso , por lo que se duerme muy bien . Hay dos museos muy cerca, el Deutsches Museum y el Sudetendeutsches museum . El edificio parece remodelado recientemente , con un lobby muy grande , restaurant y salon de desayuno amplio y con vista a la calle , siempre con disponibilidad de mesas. La habitacion muy amplia , todo perfecto, implacable con frigobar , hervidor y cafetera . Hay café y té sin cargo. Aparato para lustrar los zapatos en el pasillo, que siempre es útil. El desayuno muy bueno , con surtido de productos , perfecto para comenzar el día. El hotel tiene spa , pero fui un solo día y no volví , la piscina es muy pequeña y el agua estaba heladísima , no vale la pena. En resumen , fue una estadía muy grata y es un hotel muy recomendable .

El hotel Hilton Múnich City es uno de esos hoteles a los que uno quiere volver siempre. Por muchas razones: está conectado con el S-Bahn (tren de cercanías) del aeropuerto a través de la Línea 8 y en menos de 40 minutos y por 13 euros. Es un caso de esos que parece medio insólito: del aeropuerto de Múnich se llega al hotel bajándose en la estación Rosenheimer Platz y esta estación tiene comunicación directa con el hotel. Es decir: es un hotel con línea del tren, o con ”tren propio” por llamarlo así. Otra gran ventaja del hotel es su cercanía con el corazón central de Múnich: Marienplatz. Se puede llegar a pie en un recorrido muy bonito de unos 15 minutos. O se puede llegar en tres minutos con la misma Línea 8 del S-Bahn hasta la dicha Marienplataz. Quiere decir: debajo del hotel, en la estación Rosenheimer Platz, pasan muchas líneas del S-Bahn y del U-Bahn (metro) que llevan hasta la estación Marienplatz que dista del hotel a solo una estación entre ambas: Isartor. El hotel es muy bonito, es muy nuevo, es muy elegante. Cada una de sus áreas está absolutamente bien cuidada: las zonas comunes, el lobby, el restaurante MONA, el bar JULIET ROSE, los ascensores y las habitaciones. Estas últimas tienen una lencería estupenda, unos cortinales absolutamente apropiados, unas camas maravillosas y unos baños limpios y fantásticos. En la recepción o front desk me atendió al ingreso (check in) la señorita Meloni: una italiana con un español muy comprensible y de una simpatía sinigual. Al salir del hotel (check out) me atendió Carlos, un asiático-español con muy poco manejo de la lengua castellana, pero con una simpatía suficiente para aclarar unos servicios de room service que había pedido y pagado en efectivo en el momento; pero que aparecerían cargados a mi cuenta. Él me los descargó confiando en mi versión de que yo había pagado el room service a la persona que me atendió en la habitación. En el restaurante MONA se sirven excelentes desayunos. Y el jefe del servicio, Willy, es absolutamente encantador. En síntesis: le haría a este hotel el mejor homenaje de un cliente satisfecho: volvería a alojarme en él.

El desayuno es más normal, el pan de champán y el queso de huevos de pan. El hotel está muy cerca de la estación de tren. A la cerca de la tienda de Karstadt, hay un supermercado oriental en el tercer piso del supermercado, que está abierto en gran medida, es chino. Además hay un supermercado pequeño, que puede comprar pan, fruta, comidas de consumo diarias, etc. Caminar al este del hotel a cientos de metros de la Plaza Carl y seguir caminando al este es la Plaza Maria, la famosa iglesia de Munich y las calles comerciales están alrededor. Las instalaciones del hotel son muy limpias y de alta calidad, y la habitación es mayor, tenemos niños, por lo que reservamos una habitación que permite a los niños quedarse. La cama grande es dos camas pequeñas, todavía muy cómoda y lo suficientemente grande.

This fairly small private hotel is a joy. The rooms are extremely well appointed and hold one great advantage over similar hotels in the vicinity of Munchen Hbf. ...... they feature kitchenette facilities (microwave, fridge and two electric rings). For supplies there is a Rewe supermarket a few minutes walk from the hotel. The staff are fabulous; from reception to room service. Although Schilerstrasse may not be to everyone's taste the hotel is virtually at the Hbf. end of the street so a visitor, if he/she so wishes, can avoid the 'Hostess' bars which are further down the street. Within a 10 minute walk you are right in the main shopping centre of the city. All the main brewery run restaurants are also within a 30 minute meander ...... Weisses Brauhaus, Andechser am Dom, zum Augustiner and zum Franziskaner.

Stayed here over a week and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Staff - Probably the friendliest and most helpful hotel staff I've ever come across. The were always very accommodating whenever I asked for anything. Even the cleaning staff would greet me whenever I'd see them. Room - Modern, clean rooms. Bed was comfortable, pillows and linens fluffy. Desk space perfect for using your laptop. Radiator for heating. There is no air conditioning, but it wasn't hot when I was there, so that was never an issue. There was also a small refrigerator. Bathroom - Again, modern and clean. Only a shower, no bathtub. The only complaint I would have is the toilet paper felt a little like sandpaper, but not a major issue. Location - Very quiet, seemingly most residential neighbourhood, but still walkable to the main sights in Altstadt. Marienplatz was about a 15 minute walk, Karlzplatz another 15 on top of that. The Eisbach surfing and English Gardens were just a block or two away. Also very close to the Residenz. There is also a small grocery store nearby, as well as a few restaurants (including a good Vietnamese restaurant right next door). Other - The hotel does have an underground parking garage. It is very small and quite pricey, at 25 euros per day. There is also parking around the hotel for cheaper, but it can get busy too. There is an elevator, which was helpful for taking luggage to the upper floors. Bonus - If you don't require daily housekeeping, you get a free drink.

Great location but overcharged us on checkout for breakfasts and refusing to reimburse. Apparently sitting in the breakfast room for five minutes before leaving the hotel = having a EUR14 breakfast. So make sure to avoid that room if you don’t want to be charged! Also if you’re booking a room for four the sofa bed for the third / fourth people are very uncomfortable and hard and on a slant. My boyfriend got a bad back in it the first night so we swapped then I had bruises on my hip from it the second night. Overall left a bad taste on our otherwise lovely visit to Munich.

Una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida. El personal es 10/10 cálido y invitado. Desde el inicio a la salida, todo fue genial. La habitación es agradable, pero el edificio es lo que lo hace tan grande. Nuestra primera noche nos reunimos en el patio florido trasero. La mañana siguiente, recogí el desayuno de la cabaña, donde la mujer que trabajaba me puso todo lo que necesito, no comentó que estaba tarde para el desayuno! La noche pasada tuvimos bebidas en la biblioteca del primer piso y conversamos con Sebastian. La ubicación es también fantástica. ¡Es difícil decir esos días!

First, this hotel is not a Marriott, Hilton or Hyatt. It is a ”boutique” hotel that has great rooms, great bedding, nice finishes, and easy in / out. It is about a 8 minute walk from the city center. It is also close to a number of tech companies within 5 minutes walk. Loved this hotel and the daily service and look forward to staying again!
