Centro Cardiovascular San Juan(Howard Johnson by Wyndham San Juan Centro Cardiovascular)

If you're coming as a tourist, don't stay here! Why is cardiovascular in the name? It's in the hospital! First, no one knows where this hotel is! The GPS was intermittent so our taxi driver stopped and asked people on the street, they sent us in different directions. The guard at the pediatric emergency room said it had closed and moved off campus. The doorman at the actual location sent us down the street! Took us an extra half hour at least to find it! When we wanted to go out and eat no ubers or taxis would come out to us. We walked to the Burger King in the hospital food court. The room itself was subpar. The fixtures were tarnished, the bathroom was outfitted like a lavatory and the grout wasn't clean, the AC (turned off) clicked and made loud percolating sounds all night. The walls were not insulated, could hear the neighbors. If this is a hotel for patient families, wouldn't you treat them as first class? I lost my toothbrush and asked for one but they had none even tho they advertise that they supply complimentaries. That being said, the front desk attendant named Christian was wonderfully helpful and kind! Don't stay here! Save yourself a hassle and a weird 'I'm on vacation but I'm around sad and grieving people' experience.

I was in the hotel and it was horrible, there was not enough light in the rooms. In the amenities it says that it comes with a refrigerator and it is false. I need a refrigerator for medicines. My stay was supposed to be 7 days and they canceled my stay on the 3rd day and told me a lie that the hotel would be closed for the duration of my stay and I practically stayed on the street without having a place to stay. They recommended a doubly expensive hotel to me. Of all the employees, only one was kind and friendly. Parking is not accessible, it is very far from the hotel, they do not have disabled parking, thus creating limitations for disabled people.

No hot water and showers overflow into the bathroom for 4 days. Horrible. Run fast and do not stay!!! I complained the first day and they said I must let the water run for some time. I let it run for an hour and no hot water came thru the pipes. I complained about the toilet not flushing and they did fix that. There is no refrigerator so you can't store any food at all.

This place was horrible and on top of a hospital where they ask you to not wear bathing suits in the hallways. No hot water. No towels and wash cloths. And when I requested a refund the last at the desk was rude.

Room is in need of repairs and cleaning. Staff was great. Don't expect a comfortable clean experience. Problems with AC,TV, Cleaning, Dated, Need major corrections to make it rentable. I hope they correct the issues befor the next guest.
