TTop IssarapongI had memorable experiences of visiting Changbaishan west. The journey of stunning winter scenery from the bus then exciting snowmobile riding to the summit to see breathtaking views marked this stay as the best of my trip.
As a non-Chinese speaking foreigner, the hotel staffs/receptionists were so kind and get me through difficulties and guided me step-by-step to get to Changbaishan.
Hot springs bath was nice, breakfast was rich with fresh coffee while not many hotels offered.
Location is just opposite the entrance of changbaishan ticket gate where you can beat the crowd to the mountain if you start early.
Highly recommended for anyone who seeks comfortable of climbing Changbaishan, for foreigners you may just having a translator app then you will be fine.

NnurelyaImpression: The hotel is so cute and really kids oriented. Its newly built and opened, hence not all taxi driver knew about the location. In Trip.com - English, the name is Sunggari Club Hotel. But if you want to ask taxi driver or bus, you should mention Sungouli instead and search in Amap using chinese name given in Trip.com.
Location: West slope of Changbaishan. If the weather permitted, you can see the peak of Changbaishan from far away but very nice view. It was more happening at night around Swissotel area and more shops and restaurant around that area.
Hotspring located in Clubmed building not far ifrom Swissotel and Burger King. The shuttle bus will only drop and pickup at Swissotel and not Clubmed, so you have to walk back to Swissotel once you finished with the hotspring.
Pros:
1. Kids friendly - decorations, play area, room. All so cute and pretty.
2. The room package inclusive of the entrance vouchers and activities - skiing, deer place, hot spring, special event, breakfast. So it is really worth the money.
3. All the staffs are so friendly and helpful - even tried their best to communicate with us in English.
4. There is laundry room with washing machine and dryer and the detergents to wash and dry your clothes.
Cons:
1. The hotel supposed to be kids friendly, but smoking is allowed inside the hotel. We've requested non-smoking room and we've got it. but the problem is, it is not non-smoking floor. Shockingly, there is smoking area in the hallway of the rooms besides the elevator in every level. So the smell will travel to the entire hallway and into the room. Since it was winter and heavy snow, we can't really open the window to let the smell get off. It was so suffocating. Really frustrated in regards of this as I strongly suggest for the hotel to consider implement a strict rules not allowed smoking in the premise and have a dedicated smoking area far from the room and eating place to promote safe place for the kids.
2. Even the hotel considered new, the toilet bowl still old-school, not automated as most of the new airbnb/homestay that we went. So for Malaysian, no bidet is the big concern 😅.

TTravelBeefWas a very good stay. Room was decently spacious and comfortable with room sofa, chair and table. Smart curtains, lights and and very nice and aesthetic toilet.
Food from breakfast and restaurant was great as well. Very near nearby activities and the west slope towards tianchi lake. Excited for future stays here.

__Traveltastic_The room is spacious and exceptionally clean. We loved the Kang-style bed, which felt very authentic and added a charming touch of Northeast China’s culture. The breakfast was fantastic with a good variety of options. The staff were also very nice and attentive, making the stay even more pleasant.
The only downside was the pick-up and drop-off service, which is only available for the airport. This wasn’t clearly mentioned in the package details, leading to some confusion. Overall, it was a great stay with unique cultural elements, excellent amenities, and wonderful hospitality

UUsuario invitadoWhat a trip! The rooms are MASSIVE. It's essentially a full apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds are extra extra large so perfect for families.
For Western travellers, you may find the bed a bit hard. We were perfectly happy with it though.
I personally will recommend Holiday Inn at the resort for those with kids. It's right next to the beginner tracks and that hotel hosts all the children activities and kids club. Though I don't know what the room is like. More from a location perspective.
Wanda Jin Suites has 2 buildings. Best to get the 1st building as much closer to the beginner tracks and the service centre to rent ski gears. We were in the 2nd building.
I will say from a location perspective, it was inconvenient for us as once you have snow boots on, it's a trek to carry your ski gears back and forth. There are lockers to put your ski gears in so we'll utilise that more next time. You do need WeChat though and if you don't have a local number, it gets difficult. If you're from Australia, just lose the 0 and add 18 at the front of your mobile number and that will get you through. But best to just get a local SIM to save you the hassle.
But from a food perspective, they're right outside the building and short walk to the hot springs and the water park which is all included in the hotel fees. Including ski pass and going to the snow playground. At the snow playground, there's snowmobiles for kids to ride on amongst a lot of other activities. But that's extra money. Again, need WeChat.
The hotel concierge when you check in will add you into their WeChat and you can ask them questions and they'll help you. Very convenient.
It's an amazing place to come with kids. Water park is insane there and my son had a blast. The hot spring was also an amazing experience. Though very cold to get in and out of the hot springs at -20C.
There are other activities outside the resort which hotel concierge will help you arrange. They can also shuttle you to the nearby village for more authentic food if you don't want to eat inside the resort.
Beaware that the pharmacy at the resort does not have any ibuprofen or paracetemol.
Strongly advise you get WeChat. You can book pretty much all the activities through their WeChat mini app. Including ski coaches. There are rogue ski coaches coming up to you to get business so beware. We almost got on a shuttle with a rogue coach that were gonna take us elsewhere and weren't even letting adults come (it was for the kids) and a hotel staff came up and essentially stopped them and forced them to give back the deposit. Book your coaches early. They book out quick. Particularly snowboarding.
We also booked an igloo making class for our son and he had an amazing time. Though it's all in Mandarin of course. They have half day and full day camps for kids so parents can drop off and chill for the day.
The staff here can barely speak English so bring your AI translator with you. We had less of a problem since I can speak Chinese but my husband often got stuck and needed me or even my son to help navigate around.
Make sure you go back to the counter after returning your ski gear at the end of your stay to get your deposit back.
We had an amazing time and would consider coming back.

UUsuario invitadoThe resort is very well organized and will pick up from the airport with a large bus to Momoland hotel. Manager and staff in Momo are excellent and please add them to WeChat and they will help you navigate the resort with daily piste openings/closing and weather. There's an internal shuttle bus that comes every 1/2 hour to the ski slopes which is just 10 minutes away. If in a hurry - taxi is just 10Yuan anywhere within the resort. Pay by WeChat pay.
Room is large but the temp setting is too warm. 25C for winter is quite high and as it's centralized I switch it off and thankfully the windows can get opened. Then the room is really pleasant. Need more lights in the bathroom shower and corridor. I understand Momolands branding is mystery but bathrooms could be brighter :) Otherwise no complaints. Plenty of good food options around hotel and ski village. Ski can get quite crowded but queue moves fast - facial recognition is cool. Piste well designed and safe named after court rankings like gentleman, grand marshall and general (intermediate, advanced) No issues for English speaker - just ask around. Will be back :)

Las zapatillas y la loción para el cuerpo me entregaron muy rápidamente. durante la estancia Esto fue muy bueno. El desayuno es rico en variedad. Si está cansado de cenar en el hotel, el hotel le preguntará sobre el sabor y le recomendará los restaurantes correspondientes. Luneng Suiza es realmente decepcionante, así que después de llegar al Park Hyatt, siento que este es el. estándar que debe tener un hotel. Es muy conveniente ir a la estación de esquí y el alquiler del equipo de esquí básicamente se puede realizar tan pronto como llegue, por lo que no hay necesidad de esperar. LLingtzeThe hotel location is convenient for everything. Our room had a nice view and the conceige provides helpful information and especially for the first timer at Changbaishan. The extra penny spent would be the coach for skiing and food. Will be back soon. The people here is very helpful.

La habitación estaba limpia y ordenada, pero. Había una cosa que sentí que no era buena: la funda del edredón estaba hecha de fibra química.
