Very friendly and helpful staff! Although their English was limited, they were extremely supportive in helping us book activities and explore the area. There were very few guests during our stay, which made the experience feel very personalized and unique. The room was beautiful, very clean, modern, and comfortable. The fishing activity at the hotel’s pond was unfortunately out of season, but the staff kindly arranged and paid for us to fish at a nearby lake instead, free of charge. It was a very thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated. The location is slightly on the outskirts, so taxis are needed to reach most attractions and the walking street. Unfortunately, we arrived at the end of February when the winter season was ending, so some of the area’s natural beauty was fading and a few activities were no longer available. If you're looking for a quiet and beautiful place to stay, this hotel is an excellent choice.

La suite es grande y cómoda, totalmente equipada con frigorífico, lavadora, cocina de inducción, dos aseos, cuarto de baño con ducha y calefacción por suelo radiante. El servicio de mayordomo también es muy bueno. Se comunicaron con nosotros dos días antes de nuestra llegada y nos brindaron el servicio de recogida en el aeropuerto. ¡Podemos comunicarnos con el mayordomo en cualquier momento después del check-in y la respuesta es muy rápida! Impression: The hotel is so cute and really kids oriented. Its newly built and opened, hence not all taxi driver knew about the location. In Trip.com - English, the name is Sunggari Club Hotel. But if you want to ask taxi driver or bus, you should mention Sungouli instead and search in Amap using chinese name given in Trip.com. Location: West slope of Changbaishan. If the weather permitted, you can see the peak of Changbaishan from far away but very nice view. It was more happening at night around Swissotel area and more shops and restaurant around that area. Hotspring located in Clubmed building not far ifrom Swissotel and Burger King. The shuttle bus will only drop and pickup at Swissotel and not Clubmed, so you have to walk back to Swissotel once you finished with the hotspring. Pros: 1. Kids friendly - decorations, play area, room. All so cute and pretty. 2. The room package inclusive of the entrance vouchers and activities - skiing, deer place, hot spring, special event, breakfast. So it is really worth the money. 3. All the staffs are so friendly and helpful - even tried their best to communicate with us in English. 4. There is laundry room with washing machine and dryer and the detergents to wash and dry your clothes. Cons: 1. The hotel supposed to be kids friendly, but smoking is allowed inside the hotel. We've requested non-smoking room and we've got it. but the problem is, it is not non-smoking floor. Shockingly, there is smoking area in the hallway of the rooms besides the elevator in every level. So the smell will travel to the entire hallway and into the room. Since it was winter and heavy snow, we can't really open the window to let the smell get off. It was so suffocating. Really frustrated in regards of this as I strongly suggest for the hotel to consider implement a strict rules not allowed smoking in the premise and have a dedicated smoking area far from the room and eating place to promote safe place for the kids. 2. Even the hotel considered new, the toilet bowl still old-school, not automated as most of the new airbnb/homestay that we went. So for Malaysian, no bidet is the big concern 😅.

Waking up to the provided hearty Chinese breakfast was a daily highlight, offering delicious, authentic flavors that fueled our days perfectly. However, what truly made our experience unforgettable were the owners. Their kindness went far beyond the expected. They were incredibly helpful with booking our activities, offering expert local advice. Most extraordinarily, they personally drove us to places in their own car, transforming simple logistics into cherished personal tours and conversations. This genuine, above-and-beyond service created a feeling of staying with friends or family, not just at a hotel. Overall, this is more than just a place to sleep; it's a haven of personal hospitality. If you are looking for beautiful comfort, fantastic food, and hosts who truly make you feel at home, look no further. I cannot recommend it highly enough and will absolutely return.

The hotel offers a stylish, modern room with a bathroom that stands out thanks to its Japanese‑style WC. Its location is practical — only 10–15 minutes from West Changbaishan train station — and there are plenty of dining options nearby, with Korean restaurant being a real highlight. Breakfast is acceptable, though having eggs cooked to order would make it more appealing. The real advantage of staying here is the access to the hot springs, included in the room price. While several pools were closed during our stay, the outdoor baths were open and provided a very enjoyable experience. A small detail that could improve comfort would be adding a hook on the bathroom door for clothes and towels. Overall, this property combines modern facilities, a convenient location, and relaxing hot springs, though a few small adjustments could make the stay even better.

I forgot to take pictures of the room but I love how huge it is, perfect for groups and families to stay. The host is also very responsive and helpful. He picked up and dropped me off from and to the Railway station, just tell him what you need and he does his best to comply to the requests. The foods are also very local and tasty. The hotel is just few minutes of walk from Wanda Ski Resort. You can also take a taxi from the hotel to Wanda for more or less than 10rmb. The hotel is just near from several restaurants and stores. I even rented my ski suit from the store just near the hotel for only 80rmb/day with a deposit (refundable) of 300rmb which is way cheaper than renting ski suits from Wanda. The hotel is in Guosongcun and the place is perfect for those who want peace and quiet, away from too much crowd. Overall, my stay was absolutely pleasant and if I come back to Changbaishanxi again, I will definitely book the same hotel 👍👍👍❤️

Personally love it generally as solo traveller. For breakfast choice with wide selection. Just need to go super early for avoid crowds. Surrounding is definitely quiet and suitable for who ever prefer. As people had share this place definitely stay with their own style. I also surprise for upgrade room is definitely a plus for me. I just regret short of time to stay in room as too many things for me to do like skiing. I would recommend those family with younger kids.

❄️ The hotel is not the most convenient choice for families with young children or for less experienced skiers, as it is located away from the city centre. Guests always need to rely on shuttles or taxis to get around. The city centre is also where the hot springs, water park, and the snow and ice attractions are located, so unfortunately a lot of time is wasted in transport. 🚐 Shuttle service is a clear area for improvement. The frequency is limited, and we often had to wait quite a while—sometimes missing two full shuttles before being able to board. Increasing the number of shuttles would make a big difference. 🎿 Ski passes are flexible: they can be used on any day, including check-in and check-out days. Usage is limited to once per night, and you can choose either daytime or nighttime skiing—but not both on the same day. However, you don’t need to use them on consecutive days, which gives families more freedom to plan rest days. 🏠 On the positive side, the room was spacious and well equipped. The bar, fitness area, ping-pong room, and yoga room were all enjoyable and added variety to the stay. Breakfast is also quite varied and good.
