«What a trip! The rooms are MASSIVE. It's essentially a full apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds are extra extra large so perfect for families. For Western travellers, you may find the bed a bit hard. We were perfectly happy with it though. I personally will recommend Holiday Inn at the resort for those with kids. It's right next to the beginner tracks and that hotel hosts all the children activities and kids club. Though I don't know what the room is like. More from a location perspective. Wanda Jin Suites has 2 buildings. Best to get the 1st building as much closer to the beginner tracks and the service centre to rent ski gears. We were in the 2nd building. I will say from a location perspective, it was inconvenient for us as once you have snow boots on, it's a trek to carry your ski gears back and forth. There are lockers to put your ski gears in so we'll utilise that more next time. You do need WeChat though and if you don't have a local number, it gets difficult. If you're from Australia, just lose the 0 and add 18 at the front of your mobile number and that will get you through. But best to just get a local SIM to save you the hassle. But from a food perspective, they're right outside the building and short walk to the hot springs and the water park which is all included in the hotel fees. Including ski pass and going to the snow playground. At the snow playground, there's snowmobiles for kids to ride on amongst a lot of other activities. But that's extra money. Again, need WeChat. The hotel concierge when you check in will add you into their WeChat and you can ask them questions and they'll help you. Very convenient. It's an amazing place to come with kids. Water park is insane there and my son had a blast. The hot spring was also an amazing experience. Though very cold to get in and out of the hot springs at -20C. There are other activities outside the resort which hotel concierge will help you arrange. They can also shuttle you to the nearby village for more authentic food if you don't want to eat inside the resort. Beaware that the pharmacy at the resort does not have any ibuprofen or paracetemol. Strongly advise you get WeChat. You can book pretty much all the activities through their WeChat mini app. Including ski coaches. There are rogue ski coaches coming up to you to get business so beware. We almost got on a shuttle with a rogue coach that were gonna take us elsewhere and weren't even letting adults come (it was for the kids) and a hotel staff came up and essentially stopped them and forced them to give back the deposit. Book your coaches early. They book out quick. Particularly snowboarding. We also booked an igloo making class for our son and he had an amazing time. Though it's all in Mandarin of course. They have half day and full day camps for kids so parents can drop off and chill for the day. The staff here can barely speak English so bring your AI translator with you. We had less of a problem since I can speak Chinese but my husband often got stuck and needed me or even my son to help navigate around. Make sure you go back to the counter after returning your ski gear at the end of your stay to get your deposit back. We had an amazing time and would consider coming back.»

«Really made a good choice staying here instead of Holiday In Express. As the hotel is just beside the ski resort. No need to wait for any buses just walk to ski resort, ski village and even the hot spring. This hotel is very worth it. As you stay comes with complimentary: 1) Mini Bar in room 2) Hot Spring Access 3) Ski lift access ( 2000rmb deposit) 4) Snow activities 5) Breakfast 6) Shuttle from Changbaishan West Railway Station 7) Water Park At night the whole village really feel like in the alps. One night is too less for us to enjoy everything. Had an amazing sleep. Got bathtub. Room is big and with a wide view of the ski area. Very nice 5 stars.»

«The hotel location is convenient for everything. Our room had a nice view and the conceige provides helpful information and especially for the first timer at Changbaishan. The extra penny spent would be the coach for skiing and food. Will be back soon. The people here is very helpful.»

«Personally love it generally as solo traveller. For breakfast choice with wide selection. Just need to go super early for avoid crowds. Surrounding is definitely quiet and suitable for who ever prefer. As people had share this place definitely stay with their own style. I also surprise for upgrade room is definitely a plus for me. I just regret short of time to stay in room as too many things for me to do like skiing. I would recommend those family with younger kids.»

«絕對令人驚歎的酒店，擁有俯瞰長白山的絕美景色，員工體貼周到，整體服務堪稱一流。特別要提一下劉增玉先生，他竭盡全力確保我們擁有一次完美的住宿體驗。我最早是在五月份來到這家酒店，當時是想先看看餐廳，目標是親眼驗證這裏的景色是否像大家所説的那樣驚艷。景色絕對沒有讓人失望（不過當時餐廳因活動而未開放）。那時酒店員工就已經非常熱心了，我也下定決心夏天要以住客身份再來一次。酒店的所有主要區域都能看到長白山（當然要視天氣而定，而這可能是個不小的變數），所有房間也都能看到山景（不過據説有些房間的視野可能會稍有遮擋）。酒店內的餐廳和其他設施或許看起來有限（比如沒有健身房，游泳池也比較小等），但餐廳的餐飲質量絕對遠超預期（如果不説它是相當驚艷的話，這點我會另寫評價）。游泳池雖小，但是恆温的，而且同樣能欣賞到絕美的山景。我們入住期間，有一羣我猜是美術教授和專業藝術家的人專程來此畫山（可見這裏的景色有多出色）。他們 apparently 為了這個景等了六天才等到（合適的天氣）。另外值得一提的是，雖然這裡有很多家庭和年幼的孩子，而且員工始終非常樂於助人、細心周到、儘量滿足需求——但酒店本身並不是專門為親子設計的。不過，如果能增設一些專門的小童區域之類，這個問題很容易解決。與度假區內的其他酒店相比，這裏離主要的度假區域和商業街也相對較遠（所以帶孩子的話會稍微辛苦一些）。從很多方面來説，這並不是一家適合帶孩子入住的酒店，而更像是一家適合帶你想與之生孩子的人、或者已經育有孩子的老伴一同前來的酒店。最後，我們購買的套餐性價比簡直超高。套餐包含了度假區裏的很多活動項目，我們在三天兩晚的時間裏根本用不完所有權益。所以，儘管這家酒店價格不菲，但搭配套餐後的性價比實際上非常出色。總體強烈推薦，尤其推薦各種套餐。絕對是一家必住的酒店，希望將來還能再來。 Absolutely amazing hotel with stunning views of Changbaishan, attentive staff, and excellent service all around. A special mention must be made for Mr. Liu （劉增玉）, who went out of his way to ensure for us a fantastic stay. I first visited the hotel in May to visit the restaurant and see if the view was everything everyone said it was. The view most certainly met expectations （but the restaurant was closed for an event）. At that time the staff was already very helpful, and I was determined to come back to visit in the summer as a hotel guest. All the main areas of the hotel offer a view of the mountain （weather conditions permitting, which can be a big if）, and all the rooms have a view as well （although apparently some rooms may be slightly obstructed）. Restaurant and other amenities within the hotel may seem limited （I.e. no gym, small pool, etc.） but the restaurant food was definitely much better than expected （if not just outright fantastic, which I’ll write about separately）. Pool is small but heated and offers again an amazing view of the mountain. When we were here, a group of what I believe were Art professors and professional artists came to draw the mountain （that’s how good the view can be）. They apparently waited 6 days for the right weather conditions. Another thing to note is that while there were a lot of families and young children here, and the staff was always extremely helpful, attentive, and accommodating - the hotel itself is not designed to be kids friendly per se. But that can be easily fixed if there are some dedicated kids areas, etc. It’s also relatively far from the main vacation areas and commercial street when compared to other hotels within the vacation area （so a little bit tougher for the kids）. In many ways, it’s not a hotel designed for bringing kids to, it’s more a hotel designed for bringing someone you want to have kids with or had kids with. Finally, the package that we bought was just amazing value. It included a lot of the activities in the vacation area and there was no way we could use all the benefits in the 3 days and 2 nights. So even though this is an expensive hotel, the value with the package actually is extremely good value. Highly recommend all around and in particular recommend any packages. Definitely a must stay and hope to be back again in the future.»

«旺季來長白山避暑入住這家酒店，位置稍微偏遠，但離高鐵站不遠，有專車接送。價格在暑期還算實在，幸運升級了套房，房間寬敞乾淨，個別設施稍舊。 全體工作人員服務熱情，尤其前台管家2012服務到位。長白山天氣清涼，泡温泉放鬆很舒服，安靜度假合適。»
