Apartamento de dos habitaciones, un salón, cocina y balcón. El ambiente es limpio y cómodo, y el servicio del ama de llaves es excelente. Nos recomendaron atracciones y restaurantes cercanos, y también nos dieron consejos útiles. Es muy fácil conseguir un taxi en los alrededores. No hay muchas calles llanas, así que si tienes problemas para caminar, es mejor tomar un taxi, ya que el viaje estará dentro de la tarifa mínima. También es muy conveniente ir a la estación norte del teleférico de Yangtze, está a un corto paseo. El ascensor requiere tarjeta y no suele haber muchas colas. La única pequeña pega es que la comida a domicilio no puede subirse directamente al apartamento, pero hay una taquilla para la comida a domicilio (como las de Taobao) justo abajo, lo cual sigue siendo conveniente. Lo recomiendo.

Hicimos un viaje espontáneo al casco antiguo de Gongtan y reservamos una habitación la noche anterior. Entre las muchas posadas que habíamos visitado, elegimos inmediatamente la Posada Dong. Ubicación y transporte: El hotel está en Chaotianmen, justo encima de la boca 1 de la línea 1 del metro. Cerca también está la estación de autobuses de Chaotianmen, que es una estación de salida. Si te mueves principalmente en transporte público, es una excelente opción. Si tomas un taxi, la ubicación a indicar es Guangda Holdings Chaotianmen Center. Vistas desde la ventana: El hotel ocupa las plantas 44 a 49 del edificio. Nosotros nos alojamos en la planta 49, con unas vistas espectaculares del río Yangtze y el puente Dongshuimen. La recepción está en la planta 44, desde donde se ven el río Jialing y el puente Qiansimen, así como el Cloud Park Giant Swing en Raffles City. Desde el restaurante de desayunos se puede ver el edificio donde se encuentra la plataforma de observación Cloud Eye. Instalaciones de la habitación: Las habitaciones son amplias y están bien equipadas. Apenas usamos la televisión. En la mesa había una bandeja de té y botellas de agua gratuitas. La habitación también tenía un mini-bar y un purificador de aire. El mini-bar no solo refrigeraba, sino que también tenía un pequeño compartimento para congelar. En la habitación con dos camas dobles, cada persona tenía a mano interruptores para la iluminación y las cortinas, así como un enchufe de dos polos, uno de tres polos, uno USB y uno Type-C, lo que permitía cargar varios dispositivos simultáneamente y satisfacer diferentes necesidades de carga. El baño tiene ducha y WC separados, lo que evita molestias. La tapa del inodoro se abre y cierra automáticamente, y el inodoro se descarga solo, sin necesidad de tocarlo con las manos. Si traes comida para llevar, el hotel también puede ayudarte a calentarla. Servicio del personal: Tanto el personal de recepción como las señoras de la limpieza fueron muy amables. Siempre sonreían y saludaban, y atendían cualquier solicitud de inmediato. Incluso si llamábamos a recepción en mitad de la noche, siempre respondían. El servicio fue excelente. Después de hacer el check-in, podías escanear un código para añadir al asistente personal por WeChat, quien podía ayudarte a reservar excursiones. En resumen, mi experiencia general en este hotel fue excelente, ¡una relación calidad-precio inmejorable! La próxima vez que venga a Chongqing, volveré a elegir este hotel.

STAFF APPRECIATION: I would like to thank Xiao Yang, Xiao Yi, and Master Li for their care during my stay. They were kind, professional, warm, patient, and proactive. They were also incredibly accommodating with my inability to speak more than a little Chinese. Xiao Yang even made a point to speak English with me during breakfast and checkout. Master Li was very tolerant with my last-minute requests for pickup and drop off and Xiao Yi quickly located and added me on WeChat to allow us to chat more comfortably. As it was raining, she even met me by the car with an umbrella when I arrived. I felt quite pampered! DIRECTIONS: To reach the hotel requires a few transfers. It's not too troublesome and is well worth it! 1) I arrived at the Wulong South Railway 🚉 and followed the exit signs outside. 2) To the left was the large blue bus 🚌 mentioned by another reviewer. It will take you to the Fairy Mountain Visitor Center for 16 yuan. From here you can reach the most popular tourist destinations in Wulong to include the Three Bridges. 3) Outside the center you’ll find another blue fairy bus which will take you to the mountain itself for an additional 8 yuan. This bus will stop at the gate where tickets will be checked. Be sure to contact the hotel and give them your information before you set off because the cost of this ticket is included with your stay! They will reserve the ticket for you and send you confirmation and any relevant information. Otherwise, it is 50 yuan per person. 4) This bus will drop you off at a plaza with a few shops and the boarding platform for the scenic train. 🚂 Contact the hotel and someone will come to pick you up, as private vehicles are not permitted beyond this point. REVIEW: If availability and your budget permit, I cannot emphasize strongly enough how much it is worth it to splurge on the room with a 270-degree view of the property. I went on a foggy, wet weekend and still found the view incredible. The windows cover three walls. I can only imagine how amazing the sky must look on a clear night. The minibar has a good selection of free snacks and drinks and a sampling of the local tea. Meals are also served at the hotel. The cost is not low, but for the exclusivity of the location, I considered it more than fair compared to what I’ve paid elsewhere. Also, the dishes looked and tasted great. There are also vendors down the hill where the train and shops (show in the picture below) are located. Look for the sign identifying the train exit and go down the steps. These were the only places I saw to purchase food, drinks, or supplies once you pass the entrance to the mountain, so plan accordingly. By the way, tickets for the scenic train were included with the reservation as well. I highly recommend it. It stops at the grasslands and the horse stables. Now, I will allow the pictures to speak for me. TLDR: Multiple transfers lead to a place that is secluded and picturesque and right in the heart of the mountain. That means your dining choices will also be limited, but the meals provided (at a cost) were delicious. Tickets to the mountain and scenic train are included in the price. A photo session is included as well, but I did not utilize it. I recommend setting out earlier to miss the worst of the crowds. The staff is amazing and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The room with the 270-degree view offers the best experience. 10/10 recommend for those seeking quiet and the peace only nature can bring. 🏞

We enjoyed this beautifully design hotel very much. The room was very spacious and with lots of luxury and unexpected amenities (eg. Your own cocktails and free premium minibars ). The view from the room was lovely ( we upgraded to the river view room) The whole hotel was like an art gallery...just very unique and beautiful, and was in the middle of the tourist area... Please keep one thing in mind that you may have to walk some steps to get to the hotel coz no car was allowed to get to the front of the hotel, but it was worth it!

Staying at Bolian Resort truly felt luxurious. This was my first time experiencing a high end resort in China, and I chose Bolian over other options in the area, including Banyan Tree Hot Springs, with very high expectations. While it is not perfect, I’m glad to say that it does meet the standards of a luxury resort. The level of service and attention to detail, even with the language barrier, was comparable to what I’ve experienced at other top tier hotels like Park Hyatt. First of all, I would like to sincerely thank the staff for fulfilling my personal request to have berries and chocolate prepared in my room. What really touched me was the towel art and flower petal decorations on the bed, thoughtfully arranged to mark a very personal occasion, which was celebrating my mental health recovery. Seeing the Mandarin character for “happy” placed on the bed felt very endearing. It was a small gesture, but one that felt genuinely kind and thoughtful. Other aspects of the service were just as impressive. While I was away enjoying the Bolian hot spring spa, the staff prepared my room for the evening by lighting all the mini candles, mopping the floor, and creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere for my return. That level of attention to detail really stood out. That said, I did notice a small oversight. The tea filter I had used for my pu’er tea was still left in the sink, which suggested that housekeeping may have been rushing, possibly knowing I would be returning sooner than expected. It was minor, but noticeable in an otherwise polished experience. The hot spring amenities, both in the room and around the resort, were amazing. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. I also appreciated how attentive the staff were at night, especially when guests were walking along the hot spring paths in the dark. The unexpected room upgrade was a lovely surprise as well, so thank you for that. Overall, I had a very pleasant and restorative stay. However, one thing that really affected my experience was the breakfast. The breakfast was honestly disappointing for a resort of this standard. The options were limited, the presentation was not great, and the overall quality fell short of expectations. I have uploaded photos with this review in the hope that management can improve this area. To be frank, breakfast took away from what was otherwise a wonderful stay. Being served ONE CHICKEN FOOT as part of the spread was highly amusing, but not in a good way. I have had much better Chongqing noodles and dim sum at local eateries for a fraction of the price. For a meal priced at around 200 yuan, it felt hard to justify......This is where people often say not to eat at five star hotels because the better food is usually found on the streets. It was disappointing that Bolian’s breakfast ended up reinforcing this stereotype... In summary, Bolian Resort shines when it comes to service, atmosphere, attentiveness, and hot spring facilities. With a serious improvement to the breakfast, it could easily become a truly excellent luxury experience.
