I admittedly glanced through my Hilton app and reserved this room for my daughter's travel ball tournament to be held at WVU this weekend without checking reviews. I did so, because I use the app frequently and have never had a bad experience at Hampton/Hilton without it being quickly resolved in a professional manner. This was the closest Hampton to the Rec Center @ WVU so I booked it. From the time I walked in, I noticed the cleanliness of the hotel was lacking. There was sticky stuff on the floor along with when I got out of the elevator and I kept going to our room because we had been driving several hours and I figured that our room would have the Hilton Cleanstay. Boy, was I wrong! The room smelled bad as soon as I opened the door. The beds were made. I sat our things down and began to unpack. I immediately noticed the bathroom floor was dirty and the bathtub was also dirty. There is a broken nut in the toilet. Later I learned that my bedspread had several stains on it and I found myself unable to sleep. I am not one to cause a fuss and try very hard to make do with what I have. I unsucessfully tried sleeping through the night and finally went down to the front desk at 5 am to ask if I could please have a new room. The lady at the front desk was immediately dismissive, confrontational, and said I should have said something last night. While, yes, I of course should have looking back, I don't think it was my fault the room was not cleaned. I will skip the other details here, which ended up in her telling me she would tell her manager when she came in and they would have the room cleaned for me by 9. I came back to my room at 3 pm after our matches and my bedspread was changed but the floor and tub were still nasty. I went back downstairs. A new receptionist was there. I asked for a new room, she said they're all dirty and said she would send housekeeping up when they could. We waited in our room and a gentleman came up, granted the nicest person I have encountered while here, and he said the dirty bathroom was from wood glue and he cleaned and disinfected the best he could. I am stuck here until tomorrow because this reservation cost me over $300. I wish I had seen the other recent reviews. Please do not waste your money coming here. Not to mention some sort of sediment is in the sinks, toilet, and tub, so I definitely would not eat or drink the water/coffee here. If I am able to leave my photos on the review later, I will attach them. In the meantime, please listen to the other reviews + my own because you will undoubtedly regret it due to the lacking customer service + basic empathy for another human + lack of housekeeping in this building. I never leave reviews, but this establishment blew my mind.

En el hotel, el hotel está muy bien, pero no es muy bueno. El servicio al cliente no está bien, aunque la entrada principal se cerró y tenía una señal que me dirigía a otra puerta. Esta puerta estaba cerrada. No muy bienvenida a los huéspedes. Mi mayor pregunta fue la mañana siguiente. La vieja mujer de la casa de baño no se quebró y no se movía, así que fui al escritorio delantero. La vieja mujer de la casa de baño no se olvidaría hasta que dije buena mañana. Aunque entonces, era como si la molestara por interrumpir su trabajo. Cuando le dije sobre el baño, ella dijo que le dejaría saber el mantenimiento. Luego, un par de segundos más tarde, me dijo que si yo ”necesito usar el convento”, tendría que usar su pluma. Le dije que estaba pagando una por un precio de noche completo, no debería tener que realizar mi propia mantenimiento. ”No hay nada que pueda hacer” porque la persona de mantenimiento no estaba allí. Estaba durante las horas de trabajo alrededor de las 8:30, no como era 3AM. Entonces le dije que me dara una llave a un cuarto sin ocupar, ya que el dormitorio en el hall también estaba fuera de orden (grande mantenimiento SMH). Cuando finalmente me eché la vista, ni siquiera me miraba ni me hablaba. No quiero decir que todos los empleados son como ella. (El joven que me examinó la noche anterior era amigable), pero me gustaría apostar que ella ha sido ruda con los demás desde que estaba conmigo antes de que yo le dijera una palabra. En cuanto al sistema de 2 claves, por una parte, me gusta la seguridad adicional (me pregunta si hubo problemas en el pasado?), pero se convirtió en un problema cuando la clave de la puerta exterior se luchaba para trabajar. La habitación era mediocre, pero definitivamente no un lugar que me gustaría quedarme otra vez.

Mira - este lugar no es fantástico. Pero si buscas un lugar fiable, cómodo, seguro y amigable fuera del interestado, este es el lugar. Este es un lugar medio camino para nosotros en nuestros viajes y nunca nos decepcionamos. Es limpio, asequible y fácil. Esperamos quedarse aquí.

¡Nuestro hogar tenía grandes problemas de plomo y tuvimos que evacuar durante más de una semana! Pensé que sería fácil encontrar varios hoteles de calidad y limpia asequibles en la zona de Morgantown. Um .... no ..... La mayoría fueron ridículamente caros o un dumpo directo. La ciudad más vieja, un poco abajo, no tan agradable como Morgantown. Excelente lugar. Muy limpio. El personal es más que útil. Las personas limpias fueron las más agradables que hemos conocido (por favor les diga que merecen). Creo que todas las habitaciones tienen incluso cocinas (todas las 3 de nuestras habitaciones lo han hecho). En un momento de nuestra estancia, algunos huéspedes inconsiderados estaban sobre nosotros en el cuarto piso y muy alto. Ahora es de eso que estoy hablando. También me gusta cómo te txt todos los días para asegurarse de que todo está bien. No es un texto cantado tampoco. Respondí con una sugerencia y ellos regresaron a mí.
