We booked with the intention of using the pool because my 3 older kids love swimming. Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance. At our last stay we had a not so pleasant experience from the pool and didn’t even get reached out to by management.
It was late and we weren’t about to cancel and find a be hotel.
I booked here again hoping to give it another shot. 1 disappointed the pool was closed and online didn’t mention anything of it.
Once we got to our room, it was freezing. The thermostat was set on 50! I had a baby with us as well and had to keep him bundled up until it warmed up. In the long run it wasn’t a huge deal, but would have expected it to be a comfortable 68-70 on heat considering it’s January.
The tv remote after using and looking at to find the correct button to use was quite frankly disgusting! I understand cleaning crews maybe don’t think to properly clean these, but this one had grime and cross in between the buttons. I am not OCD or a clean freak, but with 4 children I tend to look at that stuff more.
HIGHLY suggest the cleaning crews add this and the phones to their deep cleaning lists.
Lastly, 2 of my kiddos shared the pull out couch bed. There were no sheets or extra pillows anywhere in the room.
Some might say a simple resolution would be to go down to the front desk to get some.
But that’s not the point. If a room has a bed it should have linens in the room.
I was also alone with 4 kiddos and didn’t want to leave them alone in the room.
