I had an amazing experience staying at the Mercure Doncaster! Firstly, the room was beautiful, clean, and fit for my short-stay business purposes. What I was most impressed by however was the customer service! My colleague and I needed to find a last minute venue for a business meeting with international clients, and the staff at Mercure very kindly accommodated us with one of their available meeting rooms free of charge. The room was spacious, well-organised, modern and the technology was extremely easy to use! The staff support and amenities allowed for a seamless experience which we were very grateful for. A special thank you to Isabella, the Reception Manager who saved the day (even offering to extend my checkout time to suit the time of our meeting).

Excelente ubicación! En la zona de la ciudad y muy conveniente para todos los lugares turísticos. Tranvías, lugares de comida, tiendas y estación de tren a una distancia a pie. Hotel situado en una ubicación tranquila y espaciosa. Habitaciones confortables y personal amigable.

Before I went to Melbourne, I had had the negative experience of Mercure in Thailand and I didn't want to choose it, to be honest, but I didn't have any choice because the price and location were better than other places. Wow. I was surprise because everything was unexpected I can say thanks to the hotel 1.The location is good and it is located in the CBD. Convenient transportation, lots of Asian restaurants, supermarkets and convenient stores. It is not far from the place I had to work. 2.The staff are great and helpful with service mind. Yes, I found a Thai girl staff who is really nice. We received the good service. Even though, the policy is they clean the room 1 in 3 days, but I was ok because we had to save the world. 3.The size of the room is small and the size of the beds were small too but enough for sleeping well and everything in the room was clean and function well. 4.No water bottles. I understood that we had to drink water from the tab. I was used to it because I knew it well, but my boss was not used to it and couldn't accept this. Please make the remark in the booking or put a paper in the room so that some people can prepare themselves for this culture. However, thanks for the milk in the fridge. Just positive experiences with this hotel this time. Thanks to you all

The staff were not following COVID protocols. None wore masks. Day manager actually spoke to us with mask on chin and AROUND the safety barrier. One pen used for everything by everyone. Night manager & staff as well as other guests were all maskless. We were not asked to show proof of our vaccination status. Inspired ZERO confidence that they were actually sanitising anything. My partner also felt unsafe as there were a lot of people loitering around the building. The room was clean and tidy. Located excellently for the event we were attending. Hot water worked, loved the choice of flooring. That was all. The room offered only one single bar of soap. No shower gel, shampoo or any extra toiletries as is expected from even the most basic accomodation you can stay in anywhere else. I have stayed in youth hostels in the outback and even they offered more than a tiny bar of soap. There was no indications of any extra services offered or being available. There were no extra pillows or blankets available in the room. One very flat pillow per person and a thin doona only. The pillows were so low that I could not sleep on it and when I asked for another pillow from the night manager I was met with rudeness. He finally gave me an old, dirty pillow with no pillow case (see photos). When I asked for a pillow case he acted like I was being ridiculous. We slept badly as the bed was very hard. Actually went home and slept as we were so tired from the uncomfortable bed. Upon checkout we got stuck in the lift as the door to the G floor would not open. We finally called for help using the phone but even though the front desk manager answered and said he would be with us immediately he was not. We finally left by going back to our floor and using the fire escape to exit via the basement parking. He then told us he couldn’t hear what we were saying on the phone so basically ignored us, and then gave some rubbish excuse about the one elevator being an old one that was not for guests. Basically if we had not exited the way we did we would have been stuck in the elevator for hours being ignored. There was no signage indicating anywhere that one of the two lifts was not for guests, and if the lift was not for guests you would think it would be clearly marked so.

No hay nada como cortinas para bloquear el agua del duche y el agua sólo espléndida alrededor del baño y el piso entero. Si lo supiéramos, no habríamos reservado este hotel. La ubicación es perfecta, por lo que recomendaría este hotel a personas que no se preocupan realmente por la ducha. Otras habitaciones podrían ser diferentes y mejor que nuestra habitación...

Muy conveniente, cerca del Mercado Victoria. Caminable a la estación de cruce del Sur. Muchas tiendas cerca, 7/11 justo abajo de la calle. Hay un restaurante Sarawak y Indonesia cerca a pie. La habitación era limpia, pero sin muchas necesidades como la toalla de la toalla, etc. Aquí está el hotel.

Accor nos dio una habitación de piso superior con vistas impresionantes y los bonos de bebida gratuitos habituales, que no esperaba porque no reservaba con ellos. Las mejoras serían una máquina de café en lugar de simplemente una caldera, y una Chromecast mejor como la que teníamos no funcionaría. Son cuestiones menores, sin embargo, los ascensores eran muy lentos, ya que sólo uno parecía funcionar. El desayuno era eficiente y sabroso, aunque el café incluido podía mejorarse y el café extra era demasiado frío para ser agradable. En todo un excelente hotel para permanecer en si necesitas quedarte en el South Wharf de Melbourne, y sin duda que nos quedaremos de nuevo.
