The apartment locates on good location. But it dosesn’t have private parking within the apartment. And we have to pay more for parking 30 AUD/night for renting other private parking near here. Reception is not available 24 hrs.

The staff at the reception are very friendly and extremely efficient in all my needs and inquiries. The housekeeping always makes my room new and clean. Location is at the city center which is convenient to all your needs and places to visit.

Convenient location. Amazing view of South Melbourne and Yarra river.

Near southern cross station where the Skybus terminal is, especially convenient as we had a really early flight to catch. The room is homey. Bathroom a bit dim though. There’s a bit of noise cause it was also close to the train and tram rails. Maybe not for light sleeper. But we don’t have much issue with that. The tram station is right at the door, can just hop on and off within the free tram zone to get to the really busy eating and shopping area along Swanston Street

everything was good but the tram is nearby which is kinda loud and annoying while sleeping. All besides that, would recommend for its facility

Got second floor street facing room. Super Noisy as hell! Can’t fall asleep at all especially with train track noise. Location is stunning

Good location Trams stop at door step , get on free tram ride within city zone Convenient travel around city area . Room condition Clean , but water leakage somewhere bathroom basin area . Window , manual type roller blinds . Air con unit at living area only .

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Friendly and helpful receptionist and staffs Everything about the hotel was exceptional. Looks exactly as in the website. It was clean, stylish and facing Yarra River. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

A little disappointed with the place, but I regret not reading the reviews closely enough before booking it. Here are some pros and cons of our stay. Some also mentioned by others. PROS 😊 - fully equipped kitchen with mostly everything - location is close to the skybus terminal if that’s how you’re getting to the city from the airport - the sink was not cleaned when we checked in and we had a few other problems, but the hotel staff was quick to help us resolve all of them CONS ☹️ - the apartment was not clean to “hotel standards”, especially the bedsheets (pictures attached). There were black stains here and there everywhere and it just didn’t feel clean… - the neighborhood gets a little sketchy at night. - next to train station and the windows are not soundproof so wouldn’t recommend people who can’t tolerate noises to stay here - AC is loud when turned on

Had a great time at The Canvas, would definielty suggest asking for or booking rooms higher up in the building as the lower levels can get a fair bit of street noise that can make it hard to sleep
