It was a good experience, we stayed 2 nights in this hotel. The hotel is pretty new, located in Dockland ( last stop of the free tram zone), only take 20 minutes to city by free tram, great saving of transportation.
We got 2 Queen bed room for 3 peoples, free water, free coffee. Also had swimming pool and gym located in level 6
Highly recommend place for people who want to travel around Melbourne cbd

Maybe it was once nice but it has got so many issues with it and I highly recommend you look elsewhere. We stayed in a two bedroom one bathroom apartment and it was honestly the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. We were assigned room 2201W. Here are the issues we encountered during our four night stay. 1. Power outage on our last day with no back up generator for the entire building (both east and west). It’s 31 degrees outside so opening the doors is also not a smart option. Started at 9am and is already over 4 hours. As I have breastmilk in the fridge for my 3 month old, this is my worst nightmare. 2. Safe battery is low. Why hasn’t anyone changed it??? 3. Bathroom shower head plate is broken so water sprays at you un-uniformly and overall unpleasant. 4. Water drips out of the shower but the fall doesn’t go to the drain so the floor remains flooded. 5. Due to point number 4, the bottom of the bathroom door has expanded and the door does NOT close. It is so jammed that it feels like you’d break the handle trying to jam the latch in and back out. 6. Stupid placement of the microwave. You can’t open the microwave door more than 45 degrees. How on earth do you put a dinner plate in there??? 7. Missing cups/ mugs and glasses. 3 mugs, two short glasses, two tall glasses and odd numbered cutlery. Just fix it, for crying out loud! The top rack of the dishwasher was also broken making it difficult to pull in and out the middle rack. 8. Upon check in, we didn’t have any cleaning supplies such as dishwashing tablets, hand washing liquid for dishes or laundry powder. 9. Rooms are so tiny. Don’t expect to be able to open your medium sized luggages inside your room. We kept our two in the so called living space instead. 10. Generally upkeep is not there. Walls have visible stains and grime from previous guests. The whole place just overall felt really really filthy. 11. Not family friendly either. There is a flight of stairs at the entry and no ramp. There is a wheelchair elevator to the side which takes way too long to operate with a crying baby. If you’re on your own, be prepared to lift you pram up or hope a Good Samaritan can help you because the hotel staff won’t. Clearly there are issues within management and housekeeping. I sense laziness and lack of hospitality understanding is to blame. STAY ELSEWHERE!!!

Everything from the location to the bed is perfect. The room decor is beautifully modern. An enormous amount of thought has gone into the hotels fit out. The room isn’t huge but it’s great for 2 people. Located In a quiet side street walking distance to everything that Fitzroy and Collingwood have to offer. Lots of trams close by to get you into town or into the burbs in minutes. I’d not hesitate to stay at the standard X again and would recommend it to anyone who loves to stay out of the CBD but still close to bars clubs restaurants transport and everything Melbourne can offer a visitor.

Very elegant and comfortable suite, with many elements of home in a great location with access to the trains and tram. The suite was quiet and secure despite being in the middle of the city. The bed was comfortable, mattress and pillows supportive and comfortable. Towel service was provided on the weekend. W/D was efficient and handy to have en suite. Having a table for four with silverware and dishes was a bonus for takeaway meals. The location was also great for dining out and bringing in.

JJINGHay cestas de desayuno como pan y cereales. Las frutas y el vino de su propia bodega son bienvenidos. El coche está aparcado junto al niño. Mire atentamente la carta cuando se registre. Está un poco lejos del tren. Horas, si quieres tomar el tren a las 10:30 am, se recomienda salir antes de las 8:30, porque se toparán con su pico de la mañana. Las habitaciones están muy grandes con modernas comodidades y camas cómodas. Hay una caldera y un pequeño refrigerador. El baño tiene un baño con ducha, así que si tienes problemas de movilidad, no es para ti. No hay ferrocarril para mantenerse cuando entra o sale, lo que lo hace peligroso, especialmente porque se vuelve abriendo. La habitación que habíamos tenido que encontrar en la mezzanina del hotel, por lo que no se puede obtener luz de fuera, que era extraño. No se recomienda para los viajeros internacionales que no tengan suficientes gastos en sus teléfonos para completar 3 formularios, luego descargar y configurar una aplicación que requiere constantes conexiones a Internet y Bluetooth.
La reserva requería múltiples métodos inseguros de compartir los detalles de la tarjeta de crédito y los documentos de identificación junto con 2 formularios para completar con los detalles personales y una aplicación para descargar para acceder a la entrada del edificio, Elevador y Apartamento.
No me había dado ninguna de estas informaciones antes de la reserva. No me habría quedado aquí si hubiera sabido el grado de transmisión insegura de la información personal y la cantidad de administración y trabajo necesarios para entrar y permanecer una noche. La gestión está poniendo en riesgo los datos personales de los huéspedes con las solicitudes de documentación excesivas.
FYI, exigir a alguien que envíe fotos de tarjetas de crédito y de identidad por correo electrónico es totalmente inseguro, lo que es extraño con la seguridad excesiva para entrar en el edificio.
La necesidad constante de llevar su teléfono en todas partes o de estar cerrada del apartamento o incluso el edificio entero fue extremadamente estresante.
En cuanto a la habitación real, una vez que entró, la cama, la cocina, el salón y los pisos estaban limpios, pero el baño no había sido limpiado durante mucho tiempo. No fue agradable. Puedes ver partes bajo el rim no habían sido limpias en años. La casa de baño no se había utilizado de forma adecuada en el momento de la llegada.

The trick is while they advertise $125 a night, Friday and Saturday night the prices goes off the scale. So read your proposal, even if you're in a rush. There are lot better rooms around at around $200 or more. We stayed 4 nights and extended another - a Saturday. (Family matters nearby). The gentleman said $120 for the extra night but when I got my statement it was $189! It was then I realised I was charged that for Friday too. Re-educated in touch and go and not bothering with the receipt. Sure these prices are not exorbitant in this day an age - for a reasonable establishment. While in the room the basics were reasonable, the room had a toaster and microwave but no bread plates or cutlery, only small bowls. Asked at reception and was give some disposable cutlery and pasta bowls . Great for toast! Apparently people keep stealing them or breaking them. So charge them and have something reasonable for reasonable people! The door didn't latch either without a heft with your shoulder and then caught only by millimetres. The chain was on and the chairs in place, don't worry. The room was only serviced once during our stay after we asked. The garbage truck came at 4.00Am or so and emptied multiple skips just nearby (on the premises) with all the beeping and backing, hydraulic whining, and diesel roaring you'd probably accept at $120 odd dollars a night, but really? My partner was ready to walk in the first five minutes with her usual abuse of my miserliness. As you might have guessed, the pricing issue is what really gets up nose. The rest you probably expect and accept for a cheaper deal. But next time we're near Lilydale we may well pay $189 but we'll be looking for $189 value.

UUsuario invitadoI stayed at the Sheraton because it was surprisingly cheap for the location and star rating. I soon found out why. The sleep quality was not the best - I woke up with a head and neck ache one night and painful for dry eyes the next. The check out experience took the cake though. I was told that “for security reasons” they can only take chip-and-pin payments with a physical card. I was also told this was “standard for all Marriott hotels”. These are blatant lies: I have used tap payments at Marriott hotels on five continents, most recently at a Marriott in Australia just last year. Tap and pay hadn’t gotten less secure since 2022! I’m so used to paying on the phone I’d forgotten the PIN on the physical card. After some arguing I was allowed to swipe-and-sign. So secure! What offends me isn’t so much the backwardness, but the lies to dress up the backwardness as a benefit rather than just cheapness. Never again. Oh and I’m here posting this review again because it turns out negative reviews don’t get passed through to Tripadvisor.
