Planet Hotel

We had booked an another hotel but for some reason they had moved us here and called it an "upgrade to a suite". Would not call it an upgrade or a suite. I don't know how they got their four stars as it seemed like it shouldn't even have three stars. Beds are probably over 10 years old, everything is worn down and they even admitted it. Also the air-conditioning did not work and it was extremely hot. We got moved to a new smaller room for the second night and the air-conditioning worked there, but it had all of the same problems in the room. Breakfast was really low quality. Coffee is cold, bread was dry and they serve leftovers from their café. Garage is tiny and if you have anything bigger than a tiny Fiat, it's not really big enough.

Really lovely hotel opposite the Ferrari factory and within walking distance to the museum and the centre of Maranello. Good size room with a comfortable bed a nice shower and a good breakfast. The bar serves great cocktails too.

We definitely enjoyed our stay in the Junior Suite on the 5th floor. With two beds in the loft, Queen bed on the main floor, large bathroom, and spacious balcony, we found plenty of space to relax and unwind. We found the room to be clean as were the common areas. The gentleman who checked us in was very personable and made us feel welcome. There is a parking garage in the hotel basement; as in much of Europe, the spaces are tight and require patience to navigate (check-in first before entering garage). The elevator area in the garage isn’t very pleasant; however, the lobby and the rest of the hotel is pleasant. The hotel and furniture is somewhat dated; however, it is maintained well as is the housekeeping. The hotel is energy efficient in that your key card must be inserted into a wall mounted card reader by the door for the power to be turned on. Also, the bathroom window and balcony door must be closed and locked for the AC to operate. This is a negative since when you leave the room (taking your key) there is no power to the room and thus the AC does not operate. On a hot day, the room heats up while you’re away. We found that the AC unit labored to keep us cool; we were fortunate that the weather was not very warm when we stayed (could be an issue in very warm weather). The hotel provides guests with plenty of towels, slippers, and amenities such as combs and essential toiletries. We found the beds comfortable; the balcony outstanding; and the overall value high. Complimentary breakfast was decent with croissants, pastries, meats/cheeses, fruit juices, cakes, coffee, etc. Distance to the center of town is a short easy 5-10 minute walk; several restaurant options close by. There is also an on-site restaurant. Perfect spot for Ferrari fans as Test Drive tour operators and the Museum are a short 5 minute walk from the hotel. Not perfect, but a very good option for staying in Maranello.

Non l'ho scelto io, ci è stato assegnato come "upgrade" da un'altra prenotazione su altro sito. Coprimaterasso sporco, testata del letto consumata, letto e cuscini scomodi. Perdita nel lavandino del bagno e doccia incrostata di calcare. Seconda notte trovate due blatte in camera. Personale gentilissimo e posizione molto comoda. Soggiorno di 2 notti e non vedevo l'ora di andarmene.

Personale gentile e disponibile ma purtroppo veramente poca pulizia nelle camere, terrazzo sporchissimo e colazione misera Sinceramente aspettavo un hotel decisamente migliore sono rimasta molto delusa Non credo che ci tornerò mai più

4 appendini diversi uno dall'altro. Ecco perché ha 4 stelle. Comodo il parcheggio esterno, di fronte alla più famosa scuderia automobilistica del mondo. In questo hotel potrebbero soggiornare clienti disposti a spendere centinaia di migliaia di euro per comprare in auto e la colazione è letteralmente pietosa per le stelle ricevute (da chi?). Gli ospiti stranieri stralunati per quello che era offerto come colazione... eppure noi. Adios!!!

Assurdo avere questo hotel di fronte alla Ferrari. Reception disordinata e assente, ascensore e infissi rovinato e senza manutenzione, a colazione alle 7 tavoli sporchi e ho dovuto spostare le stoviglie lasciate dal cliente precedente davanti allo sguardo indolente della cameriera. Camera povera, materassi duri con il lenzuolo piccolo che si sganciava! Evitate!

Abbiamo soggiornato con un bimbo di 11 mesi presso questo struttura 2 notti. Scelto un 4 stelle per avere tutti i confort, ed invece non siamo rimasti contenti. All'arrivo l' ascensore non funzionava (può succedere ci mancherebbe) ma per un 4 stelle non può durare 3 giorni! Avendo delle problematiche fisiche è stato pesante. Sulle scale un divano che intralcia il passaggio già stretto, i carrelli per la biancheria sporca..boh. Detto questo la camera cmq è spaziosa e dotata di tutto, bello il terrazzino. Materassi scomodi, getto aria troppo troppo forte (si è provato dalla reception a farlo abbassare ma non è cambiato poco o nulla). Cortesi le signore delle camere, camera pulita,asciugamani puliti ogni giorno, così anche come il kit cortesia. Colazione pessima, effettuata all' omonimo bar comunicante con l'hotel, pane duro chissà di quando era, burro scaduto( è stato fatto notare subito),scarsa qualità e scelta per un 4 stelle. Al nostro arrivo non c'è il seggiolino per il nostro bimbo" perché avrei dovuto avvisare" cosa mi chiedo, se prenoto per 3 con bimbo di 11 mesi e colazione inclusa, chi dovevo avvisare?Cmq per scusarsi del disguido , offerto aperitivo per due, cosa molto apprezzata, seggiolino fatto arrivare il giorno dopo. Non lo consiglio assolutamente come un 4 stelle.

Dopo aver prenotato all'Hotel Domus per la notte successiva al GP di Imola, siamo stati spostati presso l'Hotel alle stesse condizioni, senza alcun sovraprezzo. L'hotel seppure posizionato in una zona meno centrale rispetto a quello scelto in precedenza ha il vantaggio di trovarsi di fronte la fabbrica della Ferrari. Questo aspetto ci ha agevolato molto anche per la visita al Museo Ferrari che dista circa 300 metri. La camera è risultata pulita, spaziosa e dotata di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno piacevole. Non posso valutare la colazione in quanto non ne abbiamo usufruito. Il personale è stato gentile ed il check-in in modalità classica abbastanza rapido. Consigliato.
