Decent budget hotel. Very convenience area with lotsa foodie and shopping mall around. Location is really really excellent!!!! However hotel amenities is just minimal. Anything that’s is extra for example towel, bath mat etc will be chargeable. Love the location.

Cleanliness I would say not so clean the tapos still have those cleaning white powder the sofa is mouldy don't dare to seat The breakfast is super a lot of varieties It should be nice if there's a hair dryer The toothpaste that comes with tooth brush is very small not enough for a one time used The amenities is also nice the pool is super good view must go up to sky lounge to see the view Many eateries nearby and shopping malls I booked connecting rooms and is granted Thank you

The hotel from the exterior looked really grand. The room was quite big in size and the hotel reception staff were nice enough. We (husband, two teenage children and I) arrived an hour early and were directed to the note that they didn’t have early check-ins. The doorman was nice and gave us an umbrella as it was raining when we were going out. However, the bathroom was not very clean with rotting shower screen because of most likely poor cleaning. The towels in the bathroom were supposed to be white but were brown in colour and stained. Unfortunately, we had to use these as there was no other option, felt unclean after shower. The corridor had a musty odour which was overpowering. Stayed two nights and had put up a door sign to have the room cleaned but no one came around and we were out all day. Bottled water was given on the first day but not on the subsequent day. I’m glad we only stayed two nights as couldn’t have tolerated the place for any longer.

El hotel es mucho más grande de lo que habíamos esperado. El hotel está bien diseñado, pero el congelador y todo el hotel parecía estar en algún tipo de perfume, lo que me hizo un poco mareado. La habitación era muy bonita, pero la pequeña patio es un bonito toque. Nos informamos de que nos vamos a salir a las 12:50, pero aún así, el mismo concierto nos llamó a las 12:00, esperando impacientemente que nos lleguemos a salir. Una vez que todo se ha hecho, estoy seguro que será un lugar agradable. Deseo que las plantas sean reales. Son todos plásticos y muestra, desgraciadamente. La ubicación es perfecta, justo alrededor del rincón de China Town y Junkers Walk. Creo que es un lugar decente para quedarse por una noche o dos.

Este hotel es uno de los mejores hoteles al que voy. Realmente me encanta la vista, que es o obtendrás la vista de sungai melaka n kampung morten u otra de la habitación tiene vista a la piscina y al gimnasio ... hermosa piscina pero también frío ... lo que más me gusta es la comida deliciosa 😍

Estado aquí por una noche durante nuestro viaje impmptu de. Es el segundo día de CNY 2020. La habitación es limpia y bien presentada aunque pequeña. También prepararon pantalones de cuarto que es muy bueno para mí, ya que nunca puedo caminar a pie en cualquier habitación de hotel. También prepararon mini desayuno. Cereales, pan y huevos con té caliente o café. El personal también es maravilloso. El único con es porque está situado directamente en la calle Jonker, era bastante ruido con todos los ruidos altos del exterior. Hotel en general, bonito y limpio.

This is my fifth trip to Melaka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As usual, I decided to stay near Jonker Street, the Chinatown of Melaka. This time, I had chosen Quayside Hotel as I wanted to experience a stay near the river. Upon alighting at Melaka Sentral Bus Station, I took Panorama Bus No. 17 at its Domestic Bus Terminal. It costs RM2 per person. The journey took about 20mins and I alighted outside Stadhuys, which is a short 5mins walk to Quayside Hotel. I had booked a Premier Queen Room for a two nights stay and was accommodated in Room No. 204. The room has a balcony which offers a view of the Melaka River. During the morning, it is relaxing to sit at the balcony and enjoy the tranquilness of the river and its surroundings. By night, the riverside is good for crowd-watching. It can get lively and a little noisy as it is just a stone’s throw away from the Melaka River Cruise Jetty. The room measures 21 square metres and Is comfortable for two guests. On the other hand, the bathroom is a little small whereby there is no partition separating the shower area and the wash basin. Hence, the bathroom floor gets wet each time after a shower. Even after switching on the water heater switch, the shower is lukewarm. The hotel provides the basic room amenities such as dental kit, shower gel, shampoo, shower cap, hand soap, hair dryer, electric kettle, mini fridge, coffee, tea and drinking water. There is no electronic safe. I had no major issues with the Wi-Fi network during my stay here, though it is a little weak at the balcony area. TV entertainment is limited to selective cable channels such as CNBC, Cinemax & Boomerang (Cartoon network). The room has poor sound insulation. Kids running and the dragging of chair in the neighbouring room can cause some disturbance. So it depends entirely on who your neighbours are. However, I understand that this hotel is housed at the site of an old customs warehouse. As the hotel is of an industrial warehouse theme, the design and build of the rooms do not offer good soundproof walls. This hotel has been operating since 2013 and I believed there has been no major refurbishment. The room condition needs to be better maintained and I would recommend the management to consider renovating the property. Whilst the room is not perfect, the stay experience was elevated by the friendly Front Desk Staff. The Housekeeping Staff also cleaned the room well. My room comes with hotel breakfast service. It is located on the ground floor and starts from 8.30am to 10.30am. I am pleasantly surprised at its offerings which although simple, is rather delicious. The menu comprises of rice (Nasi lemak or fried rice), noodles or bee hoon, eggs, hotdogs, curry puffs, cakes and hot beverages like coffee and tea. Other than the breakfast area, there are no facilities in this hotel. The main advantage of staying at Quayside Hotel is its prime location.
