Quite difficult to find when arriving in a car, especially disabled. We did find a disabled place right at the top of the street, but it is very hilly. You can reserve a parking space at the hotel for a charge. When walking down the street to the hotel, do not take the first entrance into the little court yard, but the second into the reception area. Here we were greeted very warmly and the location of the hotel is excellent, near to the grotto, centre and shops. We decided to eat in the hotel the first evening and the food was very good and reasonable. The second evening to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary from advice we are at the restaurant Alexandria, at the top of the street. Quite expensive, but the food was amazing. Breakfast the usual continental affair, though a lack of fresh fruit and a little mundane. It is also well worth taking the little white tourist train, which you board down in the centre, but also stops right outside the hotel and stops at various places including the candle factory. Our accessible room although with a hugh wet room, was really quite bleak with no view or adequate shelving in the bathroom. The bed was comfy, but far too low and following a recent knee operation, was a nightmare to arise from and although on the whole we enjoyed our stay, I was definitely glad to leave it after three nights.

The lady Manon on reception was very warm, friendly and helpful, delightful. I took my mother for 2 nights, it was adequate for 2 nights. We had 2 separate double rooms. Reception very bright and clean. Carpets in bedrooms heavily stained and filthy ! Quite a turn off. Decor in hallways and stairs tired and in need of redecorating. In the rooms there were paper cups and wooden sticks, no milk and only 2 fruit teabags, no breakfast tea or coffee. Odd for a 4 star hotel ? Beds comfy, street quiet. Walls paper thin, so can listen to neighbour's TV as if in your own room. Also could hear my mum using loo in next room. Overall I wouldn't stay here again. Unfortunately as the owners nevef reply to comments on here, I doubt anything will improve. I think because Lourdes is such a tourist, people will put up with anything as they see it as part of their penance.

Estuvimos con la familia un fin de semana para visitar el Santurio, nos encanto la expeiencia. La ubicación es muy buena, además el servicio es muy buebk y las instalaciones también, se ve que esta recién renovado. Sin dudar volvería, si tienen la oportunidad tienen que probar el restaurante.

Hola buenas acabo de venir de este hotel es un hotel que pone 3 estrellas pero es una pensión o un hotel de una estrella en España. La comida fatal y el personal cero español sólo francés. La habitación pequeña con un lavabo que no se ha renovado hace 50 años pequeño, camas pequeñas con almohadas igual pequeñas, no tienen aire acondicionado en las habitaciones si que tienen ventiladores que te los prestan.

El hotel está situado cerca del santuario y la cueva y el autobús, a pocos pasos de él, permite llegar a las atracciones que ofrece Lourdes. Ibis Lourdes When we arrived we were very kindly given our room. We had asked for a room away from the lifts however when we went up to the room we were quite near the lift so I went downstairs to ask if we could change rooms. I was told by the receptionist that the hotel was full. so went back upstairs to go into the room. While I was downstairs my husband tried to get into the room many times and I also tried when back upstairs without success. The key-card machine kept flashing red except once for about 2 seconds went green but did not connect and open. So I again went downstairs to speak to the receptionist. At this point she was extremely rude saying, 'have you put the card in correctly, has it gone green etc'? Talking to us as if we had never used a keycard before! Then she proceeded to come upstairs and try the card without success herself even banging the door to try and open it. A short time afterwards once in our room I went downstairs to ask if I could have an extra blanket as sometimes I feel the cold at night to find a very helpful different receptionist who went to look for one. The room was fine- normal layout for the Ibis. Had an extremely large television. Unfortunately we had a very bad night due to what appears to the toilet fan unit being very noisy /broken and a road cleaner working along the roads outside our window from 0500 to 0545. When I mentioned in the morning that it appears the toilet fan was broken it was to the same receptionist who checked us in, turned round and said we should have asked to change rooms!!!!! When arrived showed my Silver Accor membership card - however nothing extra for being a member offered. Excellent central location
