Worst experience ever! Never thought this would happen when booking a 5 star appartement (€1000 for 4 nights) Booked for 3 people, 1 bedroom and the sofa couch for myself. First night slept horrible, the bed of the sofa couch is so thin you can feel the iron bedframe through the bed which hurts. I told the reception about it and the first thing they said: we never received complaints about this and we do not have another bed. To make it a bit more comfortable for myself I put the couch pillows on the floor and the bed on top of that. I had to try something. Still not the best however. The next day I went to the reception again to tell them I now sleep on the floor. Again the person told me they never heard anyone complain about the sofa couch before. (As if I like sleeping on the floor?) Of the bed was ok to sleep on I would not have slept on the floor obviously. She told me I could upgrade it to a 2 bedroom appartment but I had to pay for it. Really? I Just told you I sleep on the floor because the bed is not right and now you tell I have to pay for an upgrade. Unbelievable really! They would bring an extra topper to the room to lay in top of the bed, but this never happened. Would never come here again! (The appartement itself is very nice and the bed in the bedroom is also very good I got notified about)

We travel to London as a family of 3 regularly. Sanctum is definitely the best place we have stayed in London over the years. My 4 year old hates hotels as they are single rooms and she gets bored. So this time we stayed in Sanctum Maida Vale for a week and loved it. The staff is great, they are friendly and very helpful. They make you feel at home. The housekeeping is also very helpful, understanding and do their jobs great. Our living area was full of my toddler's stuff and they tidied up after her well. The property is very well equipped. We stayed in the Deluxe One-Bedroom Apartment. We had a big bedroom, a living and dining area, a nice kitchen with all kitchen appliances, dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, oven, microwave and a large fridge. Being Muslim, it is hard to find different varieties of halal food all the time so kitchen was important for us. But the catch is the balcony. The weather was so warm during our stay and we enjoyed the balcony very much. Overall, the apartment and beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. Everything was in working order. Location wise, it is very close to Central London. There is tube and bus stops in walking distance. Plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants available on Kilburn High Road. Little Venice and Edgware Road are walking distance. We will definitely be back to Sanctum in future visits. Thank you for everything.

The booking and check-in was very smooth. The lobby is impressive with a 24-hour front desk service. We checked in late in the night and were very impressed with the generously size 3 bedroom apartment with four full bathrooms. Our family of four became six after two nights and five for the next few days. In the last four days we were only four people in this huge apartment. All was going well until the day… Our grandson came back from London Zoo with face paint which we later decided to remove before he went to bed. We used one of the towels (wetting it) and got the paint out. Agreed that 1/20th of the towel was stained which is typical but having done that several times back home, we knew it needed just one wash for the colour to get off the towels. My husband got a call a few hours later on the apartment phone, from one of the reception staff by the name of Mr. Krzysztof, telling him that there was blood on the towel and it was ruined. Several points to make here- when you assume something or go on heresay you always give the other accused party a chance to respond. My husband told him it was face paint but Mr. Krzysztof stood his ground also ignoring the black paint that was with the red paint (spider man theme ). Secondly, he did not ask how the guest was if he had seen “so much blood”. He could not be bothered and said we had to compensate for the towel! I went downstairs a little while later and had a conversation with him in a stern tone but never raising my voice. He refused to believe me so I asked to speak with the manager. He called the manager and told him that I was screaming in the lobby. The second staff at the front desk is proof to the fact that I did not raise my voice. Viola! The manager voiced the same words as Mr. Krzysztof and said it was blood! All based on what was told to them by housekeeping who did not speak a word of English. I told him that this was a insignificant cost to the company if at all the towel was ruined and he said it was not as they were “a small company” and could not absorb the cost. I didn’t know that there were many meanings to the term “small company”. It also meant that you had to go to front desk to get extra sheets, you are given only seven towels as that is the number of maximum guests allowed in the apartment of that size and no more (they actually made me go and check how many towels and hand towels I had and report back to them so they could decide if I could have more) and also, all the toiletries are just a starter kit as per the manager. You have to then use your own and nothing is replenished. There was one day that two towels were not replaced in one of the bathrooms and they refused to believe me that the towels were not replaced. What is it with these towels! The conversation ended with me asking them to wash the towel and see the outcome. A wet towel came back to me a little while later, with tiny smears of red still on them. I washed it in the apartment , completely back to its sh

My family of four arrived here for 3 nights, coming in to Heathrow from the US, taking the Express to Paddington station. 5 minute walk, we were tired from the long flight, they immediately helped us with our luggage and got us in early to our room. Hotels in London are painfully expensive; more so with a family; rooms tend to be small, worn, with tight hallways and stairs, lifts that are cramped and not working, and if AC is featured, it breaks down or does little. This hotel is a breath of fresh air. Not cheap, but clean, friendly, new and comfortable. We had a 2 room connecting family unit with AC(didn't need it, London was over it's heat wave), 3 comfy beds, 2 baths with plenty of hot water, Tea, coffee and water is on every floor. I used the small, by reservation, gym which had a Peloton bike. Elevators, we used 2, worked efficently. There's a cafe in the lobby featuring vegetarian food, very busy in the morning. Plenty of local restaurants near. We enjoyed Bizzarro Itallan. Good to call ahead for reservations this time of year anywhere in the city. Easy to ride the tube to various sites, theatre(which we did each night). It's a quiet, safe, residential neighborhood. Small grocer and laundry(which we used) just down the street. After much research, I don't think there's a better place in the area. Staff very attentive. Part of the Park Grand hotels.

Mi pareja y yo nos hemos quedado 4 dias en este hotel. Ha estado genial todo, a pesar de que en la reserva yo puse una habitacion con dos camas individuales, a la hora de hacer el check-in me dieron la opcion de cama de matrimonio, asi que genial. El personal super amable. Hemos comido/cenado un par de dias en el hotel y en cuanto a calidad-precio esta genial. Por otra parte, recalcar que la ubicacion es perfecta. El hotel se encuentra en Kilburn Road, tiene una estacion de metro a muy pocos metros del hotel. Alrededor del hotel hay infinidad de tiendas y supermercados.

Me preocupaba que fuera una habitación 28-person, pero me sentí segura, el servicio era bueno, y nunca esperé por el duche! ¡Es un poco lejos del centro de la ciudad, pero creo que es 10 minutos si tomas el subterráneo! Abominable desde el principio. Reservado por la ubicación y las hermosas fotos de las habitaciones. Desafortunadamente esto no da una reflexión del hotel en absoluto. No hay información previa a la llegada. El hotel fue llamado el día de la llegada y no tenían señal de mi reserva. Se me dijo que había recibido una llamada de vuelta, pero nadie llamó más de una hora. Cuando decidí llamarme, de repente no había ningún problema y mi reserva había vuelto a aparecer. La habitación estaba en el cuarto piso y me asustaba caminar por la última escalera. Las escaleras están claramente en el cuello y parecen peligrosos. La habitación era terrible. No podía conseguir que las luces funcionaran tan de cerca hasta que nos dimos cuenta de que había un bolso de plástico sobre las luces, ya que claramente no funcionaban. La cama fue la cama más peor que he dormido en mi vida. No es una exageración. La noche pasó la mitad de la noche tratando de dormir en la silla debido a la dolor de espalda de la cama. Para hacer las cosas más altas, el desayuno es una atrocidad. La selección consistió en pan, queso de hambre y croissants de estaño. Había cereales pero no leche. pan pero no mantequilla. Recuperación completa. Si hubiera pagado 70 - 80 libras, habría escrito la experiencia para conseguir un trato barato y sufrir las consecuencias. Sin embargo, pagué 170 libras por una noche. Esto es criminal. Como he reservado a través de GroupOn, no estoy seguro de que tendré la oportunidad de obtener un reembolso. Por favor, no. A todos los costos. P.S Just check out now. Mi cuarto de baño está completamente inundado debido a no haber una cortina de ducha que signifique que el agua sólo sale del baño.

La ubicación del hotel es relativamente buena, cerca está la estación de Queen's Park, cerca de killburn es muy conveniente para comer y supermercados, la habitación está en una calle lateral relativamente tranquila. El hotel es una casa remodelada, hay alrededor de 11 habitaciones, cada habitación tiene su propio baño y cocina. Nuestra habitación es muy pequeña, muy pequeña, casi imposible abrir la maleta (otras habitaciones parecen estar bien), y el polvo en el suelo es relativamente grande, traemos nuestras propias zapatillas, nos cambiamos las zapatillas cuando regresamos a la habitación, Creo que el propietario no trapeó el piso, después de tomar una ducha, la casa está llena de huellas. El hotel proporciona champú, gel de ducha y desinfectante para manos. De las cuatro perchas, una de ellas todavía está rota. Puede ser una percha que los inquilinos compraron ropa antes, y no hay lugar para colgar la ropa después de lavarla. No hay forma de bajar completamente las cortinas. La calidad de la cama es relativamente mala y la cama está rígida después de 5 días de estar en el Reino Unido.
