Had a great stay! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the location was very convenient—close to everything we needed. I also loved the snacks and coffee—they were really good. Would definitely recommend!

Pretty decent hotel with a unique shape. Round building so the room is kind of round too. Can see that the furniture has to be custom made to fit the shape of the room. Room boost 101 view though it is a distance away. Can also soak in the tub and get 101 view too. Quite a few complimentary snacks in the room so happy with that. Being in the university, hotel is academic themed which is a nice touch. Love the decor of the Italian restaurant which also serves as the breakfast venue. Food was pretty good as well. All in, a nice stay in a hotel that is located just across from the night market and mrt station.

The hotel is close to the Gongguan Metro station where NTU is. It is a few blocks from the riverside park with cycling & walking trails. There are lots of restaurants. The local indoor public market is a few blocks away on the same street. It has quite a few hot food places in addition to produce & meat.
My room does not have a closet. Coat hangers are on the wall. I put my suitcase on a tiny table (night stand size).. I tried the massage chair in the basement. It was much more sophisticated than the one I had tried elsewhere many years ago.
I visited a couple used bookstores with huge collections. They are close but located on side streets.

NNguyen Do Nha UyenAfter coming back from Taiwan, I suddenly realized I hadn’t posted any photos or written a review about the adorable wooden cabin our family stayed in at Jiufen. Everyone in my family loved this place so much that I had to jot everything down now that I finally have some free time.
Most people I know usually stay in Taipei longer and just make a day trip to Jiufen without spending the night. As for me—I’ve lived in Hong Kong for quite a while, so compared to Hong Kong, Taipei didn’t leave much of an impression on me in terms of sights or food. The only thing that truly made me want to visit Taiwan was Jiufen — a sparkling little gem between the mountains and the sea 🏮🌿🌊
Jiufen feels like a dreamy fairytale village with its winding narrow alleys, steep stone stairways, and the warm glow of red lanterns everywhere. Walking around felt like stepping into another world, almost like a scene from a manga — especially for anyone who’s watched Spirited Away.

⭐🛖 Review of the wooden cabin called Twilight Forest in Jiufen
Just a 5-minute walk from the Old town, this wooden cabin brings together the warm glow of wood and the peaceful feeling of retreating into nature. It has a unique A-frame design, and at night, when the lights turn on, the whole place becomes incredibly cozy — the golden light shining through the windows and the plants around it create a “hideaway from the world” kind of vibe.
Inside, the space is open, airy, and tastefully decorated in a rustic style. There’s a small terrace with a swing chair hanging straight from the ceiling — sitting there at night, listening to insects and the wind rustling through the leaves, feels genuinely healing 🙃.
🛁🌿 Highlight: The glass-walled bathroom in the garden
This is the standout feature of the cabin. The bathtub is large and comfortable, placed right next to a 180° glass wall looking directly into a lush green garden. Natural daylight pours in, making your daytime bath feel like an outdoor spa surrounded by plants. (There’s also a roller blind if you need privacy)
Jiufen is a tiny village perched on a mountain, and it doesn’t have many hotels that offer spacious, comfortable accommodations. That’s why I was so happy to find this wooden cabin. Our family had the most wonderful two-night stay here.
If I ever return to Taipei, I would definitely book this place again ❤️

YYanapat W. CivilizeI had visited Jiufen, Taiwan once before, but this second trip truly exceeded expectations. The view, the atmosphere, the service, and the host’s attention to detail were all absolutely outstanding.
The scenery from the accommodation was breathtaking — truly a million-dollar view! The room itself was spacious, almost like staying in an entire house. The price per person came out to just a little over 1,100 THB, but what we received was far more valuable than what we paid.
The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, offering us detailed travel suggestions and making us feel as if we were staying at a friend’s home. What touched us the most was that, on the day we left, the host even rode a motorbike to personally drop us off at the bus stop.
It’s the little acts of kindness like that that make a place unforgettable.

我之前曾經去過一次台灣九份，但這次的第二趟旅程真的超出期待。無論是風景、氛圍、服務，還是房東的細心程度，通通都令人驚艷。
房間的景色美得像一幅畫，簡直是百萬級的風景！房間非常寬敞，感覺就像住在一整棟房子裡。每人換算成台幣約一千一百元左右，但實際收到的體驗與照顧遠遠超值。
房東非常親切又貼心，不但詳細介紹當地景點，還讓我們感覺像是住在朋友家一樣溫暖。最讓人感動的是，離開當天他還特地騎摩托車送我們到公車站。
正是這些微小卻真誠的舉動，讓這段旅程更加難以忘懷。

ผมเคยไป Jiufen (จิ่วเฟิ่น) ไต้หวันมาแล้วรอบหนึ่ง แต่มาทริปรอบที่สองนี้ต้องบอกเลยว่า ทั้งวิว บรรยากาศ การบริการ และความใส่ใจของเจ้าของที่พัก คือสุดยอดจริง ๆ วิวจากที่พักคือหลักล้าน! ห้องพักว้างขวางมาก รู้สึกเหมือนอยู่ในบ้านทั้งหลังเลย ราคาต่อคนเมื่อเทียบเป็นเงินไทยตกประมาณ 1,100 บาทนิด ๆ เท่านั้น แต่สิ่งที่ได้รับกลับมากกว่าราคาเยอะมาก
เจ้าของที่พักน่ารัก ใส่ใจ ช่วยแนะนำสถานที่เที่ยวอย่างละเอียด ทำให้เรารู้สึกอบอุ่นเหมือนอยู่บ้านเพื่อน และตอนวันกลับ เขายังอาสา ขี่มอเตอร์ไซค์ไปส่งเราถึงป้ายรถเมล์ด้วยตัวเอง เป็นความใส่ใจเล็ก ๆ ที่น่ารักและน่าประทับใจมากจริง ๆ

The location is excellent—very convenient with easy access to public transportation, shopping areas, and plenty of food options nearby. It made exploring Taipei effortless, especially with family members.
The room itself was spacious, cozy, and perfect for relaxing after a full day of exploring.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially for families looking for comfort, convenience, and great service in Taipei. Would definitely stay here again!

El hotel de la ciudad de Xintai, que se encuentra en el centro de la ciudad, es un hotel de gran calidad, donde se encuentran los niños de la ciudad. La habitación era muy limpia, espaciosa y renovada. La TV era grande y mis hijos podían ver algunas películas y canales de YouTube que los mantuvieron ocupados mientras reempaquetaba nuestras maletas para salir justo fuera de nuestra habitación y a la derecha por nuestro coche. El hotel está situado en el centro de Taipei, donde se encuentra el hotel, y ofrece un alojamiento asequible.
