Hilton Taipei Sinban

The most frustrating aspect is that the TV disconnects every 10 mins or so. You need to manually activate it again by pressing buttons on the remote control, unless you wait for it to reconnect which often takes long. The screen freezes a million times is what you’d get. The next bad thing is that the room is dusty, and housekeeping could forget to refill teabags/coffee or supply towels! Not only my room but my relatives also experienced the same issues in other rooms. One plus is that the housekeeping service operates till late afternoon!

The location was ok - do note it's about 4 stops from Ximen. Generally ok but if you're. A heavy shopper take note that it might be tiring after a couple of days. It's relatively close to the train station (5 min walk) and the fuzhong area for last min shopping. Since you're at banqiao, there's easy transfers to the airport too. Room was extremely spacious and comfortable and I enjoyed my stay thoroughly and had very good sleep. The service is the only downside. For a Hilton establishment, staff barely smiled and seemed very disinterested in their jobs and didn't greet guests much. Would consider going to other 5 star hotels in the future.

I had a brilliant stay at the Hilton Taipei Sinban. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. The room was large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It had an AI voice assistant that was very handy and easy to use, while breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety if dishes. Concierge staff Justin was very kind and helpful in arranging some orders I had with the restaurant. Although the hotel is outside the area where the main attractions in Taipei are, it's easy to use the metro and Airport epxress train, and there are many good restaurants and malls within walking distance. My only critiques would be that the gym was smaller than expected (still had everything I needed) and the pool area could use more loungers and sunbeds.

I had a very good experience staying at this hotel in the past. The cleanliness, rooms and facilities were all excellent. This time I came back and the experience was just as good. I suggest that the front desk should ask guests if they would be comfortable with the rooftop and the area near the stairs, since the soundproofing is relatively poor and people who are sensitive to noise will have a bad experience.

The room was magnificent, I had a really relaxing bath and the bed was comfortable.

We had a red-eye flight, and the hotel was kind enough to let us use the gym restroom for a quick shower and to change before heading to the airport. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing directions to the nearest night market. We truly appreciated their excellent service and hospitality.
