From the moment we arrived at Roku Kyoto, we felt completely taken care of. From the warm greetings we received as we got out of the taxi to the genuine smiles and hospitality given to us at Reception. There is a pride that exudes from everyone at Roku Kyoto, and for good reason. It is an absolutely extraordinary hotel. But it's not just the beautiful accommodations and the incredibly thoughtful design throughout the property. Nor is it just the sumptuous food stunningly presented at every meal. It is the people who work there and represent the true heart and soul of what the Roku Kyoto experience is all about. My wife and I have traveled all around the globe and we have rarely encountered such a level of excellence. The architectural design, the interior design, the facilities and the grounds are all stunning. In fact, the photos from their website do not do it justice. The room we had on the 4th floor was gorgeous and the bed was perhaps the most comfortable bed we have ever encountered (and we travel often!). The tranquility, the views, the attention to detail throughout the hotel are are not just glorious but absolutely inspiring. The gorgeous pool is filled with water from the natural hot springs that abound in that area of Kyoto. It is a sumptuous experience to swim in that very special pool. We only had breakfast at the hotel, but it was the best we encountered in Japan. The food was beautifully prepared , the choices were extensive and stunningly displayed and the service was impeccable. In fact, service is another thing that sets this extraordinary hotel apart. It's not just well done, there is a pride and a joy that emanates from every member of the staff, no matter what their position. It's what gives this place true heart and soul and it's what elevates the experience. We will never forget our stay at Roku Kyoto and cannot wait to return! We would like to especially thank Kayo Naskagawa. Her attention to detail, her inherent ability to go the extra mile for a guest. Her sweetness and ease. Her ability to listen and use that information to heighten the Roku experience for a guest. Kayo, for us, represents everything we love about Roku Kyoto and why we cannot wait to return.

This is the second hotel I stayed in Kyoto. Before going to Aman, I read some of posts here that the service was bad. I then quite regret to make a room reservation though I was impressed by the photos and posts from website. Besides, I had a bad first impression toward Aman Kyoto as they replied email for at least 3 days. This is not acceptable for such hotel with high room rate. When I arrived the hotel for the first day, I was quite surprised by the service. The hotel staff load my luggages from taxi efficiently and sent them to rooms directly. Then I was guided by another staff for check-in. She served me and my child a cup of green tea. This green tea is very special. Its taste is green tea but has a floral smell. My kid and I were very impressed. Unfortunately, I forgot to buy one before leaving. Then we went to Living Pavilion to have lunch. After lunch, our room was ready and a staff took us to the room and introduced us the facilities. The room is spacious, even the bathroom. We stayed in room 楢 . It is near the Living Pavilion, hotel’s restaurant. It is quite quiet. For our staying of two nights, we almost had dinner in room. The Udon noodle tastes good. My son ate it in lunch time and two dinner time. The hotel also provides welcome desserts for every night. First night is dried persimmon and the second night is chocolates. The chocolates are very very yummy. I tried the spa massage for two times. It is really good. As only me and my son in this trip, he couldn’t use the complimentary onsen. I then paid for a private onsen. It is very comfortable. The room’s pillows are very hard. My kid and I didn’t have a good sleep. We asked the front desk to give us a softer one for second night. It still doesn’t fit for me. Thus I didn’t sleep well during my stay. The breakfast had three choices: Western, Japanese and wellness. We tried western and Japanese breakfast. Both are delicious. Especially French toast in western style and porridge in Japanese style. The taste is unforgettable. The hotel environment is very comfortable. It is far away from the city. Only trees and grass around us. Everywhere has fresh air. It refreshes me. If the bed and pillow fit me, it will be perfect. We also had lunch in Tak-An restaurant. The food is good. The staffs are very nice and kids-friendly. They are very tolerant to kids. The check-out process is also very smooth. Everything is well-prepared, even our luggages. We booked a transportation to the Kansai Airport through the hotel. The driver is nice.

Cuando pidi que el servicio de envío de equipaje fuera enviado al próximo hotel (Tanzhou City), me dijeron que sólo podía llegar a la estación de servicio (la lista de servicios de Internet y el servicio de uso interior también ofrecen envíos al hotel). En este momento. Al señalarlo, lo confirmé y lo aceptaré por teléfono con la compañía de transporte. Incluso en ese momento, el nombre del hotel de la granja no se podía comunicar. El precio es diferente del importe que figura en la lista de habitaciones (los precios están subiendo). El desayuno es un cortina común. etc. Quiero disfrutar del ambiente de Kyoto, así que decidí elegir un hotel de alojamiento muy caro, pero me desperté.

Nos hemos combinado las opiniones de este alojamiento Pros - era una habitación muy grande dos dobles pequeños y un montón perfecto para familias. El hotel dispone de Wi-Fi, muchas herramientas de cocina, horno, té y café, toallas de dientes disponibles, lavavajillas y tabletas con un sistema de secador incorporado en el baño. La zona es agradable y tranquila con un autobús que se detiene a la salida de todos los días, el supermercado y los Lawsons están en la carretera y se sienten muy seguros. Cons - check-in está en una ubicación diferente 20 minutos de taxi de distancia, así que tuvimos que atrapar un tren a la entrada en el check-in cuando llegó a Kyoto de Osaka, luego un taxi a la acogida después de esto que se quejó un par de horas mientras tuvimos que esperar 45 minutos más La zona está un poco fuera de la manera de todo la próxima vez que considere que se quede en un lugar diferente de la residencia más cerca de las vistas y las instalaciones como las tiendas, etc. Todos los restaurantes de la zona parecen no abrirse para el desayuno hasta las 11:00, así que tuvimos que tener McDonald’s si no queríamos cocinar o viajar demasiado lejos para el desayuno como tenemos un toddler (precoz ascensor). Situado en la casa japonesa de la zona norte, puede ir a la Gran Duca y cerca de la valla dorada. Hay cocina pública, sala de estar, cama (salas únicas) y otros, hay muchas tazas, té y café, y hay un mapa enorme de las manos en la pared de la sala de estar, muy bonita, limpia y llena de aliento de vida. El dueño de la tienda me dice el mapa en serio. Hay problemas para llamar al dueño de la tienda, hahahahaha. Mi habitación está arriba, la puerta puede abrirse con dos puertas, y puede ser cerrada.

Alquilado la habitación de estilo occidental y me gusta mucho. Hay una cama, cama lateral, mesa y un frigorífico. No hay TV en la habitación y personalmente no lo necesito.
