If you are a traveller like us who would like some more privacy, this place is not exactly for you. Don't get me wrong, the hotel staff are absolutely wonderful. Just that most things are communal and you have wait for your turn to shower and finish by 11.35. The walls are quite thin indeed, you can easily hear people walking on the hallway or simply chatting in their rooms.

Este hotel está genial! Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero tratándose de Japón es normal. El onsen super bonito y cuidado. La ubicación genial. El barrio también. El staff muy amable. Hay 3 lavadoras que pueden usar los huéspedes. Smoking area que la familia agradeció, ya que, llevábamos a 4 fumadores. Máquina de cambio para billetes grandes y monedas. Lo recomiendo.

1. La habitación es muy espaciosa (muy diez muy muy importante) 2. El baño más importante es la separación de seco y húmedo (y muy espacioso) 3. El desayuno es muy rico y delicioso, hay estilos chinos y occidentales para que elijas 4. No muy lejos de la estación de Kioto, a solo unos 5 minutos a pie. 5. En términos de comer y beber, hay 7-11+Family Mart+otras tiendas de carne asada cerca, ¡adecuadas para ti que tienes hambre en medio de la noche! 6. Hay una fuente termal pública gratuita en el piso 10, baños separados para hombres y mujeres, muy cerca de la gente. 7. También se proporcionan lavadoras y secadoras de ropa en el piso 10, que también están separadas para hombres y mujeres. 8. La única desventaja: siento que la colcha no es lo suficientemente transpirable y me despertaré del calor 😕

My friend and I arrived at the hotel early in the morning. The staff was nice and kept our luggage for us so that we could go out and explore the beautiful city of Kyoto. First impression, the exterior looks very Kyoto-esque, and the interior has a little hint that the brand is from Thailand. We got a room on the basement floor, which at first felt a little weird, but it was nice, clean, and had a window that allowed us to see the sky and get some fresh air. There was no moldy smell at all, which was a relief. Also, we spent most of the day outside anyway. Room is as cozy as the name suggests in the booking and it is super clean. The size is standard for Japan, with a smart design that includes normal-sized luggage storage under the bed. Bed is soft and the linens are clean. Only weird thing at first was that the sink is separate from the bathroom. But on second thought, maybe that's a good thing; one person can take a shower while another can brush their teeth. The shower room has a standing shower with great pressure and temperature control, but no bathtub. The amenities smell good, and the towels are good quality. Surprise! The free WiFi internet is super fast. I was able to back up 100 photos and 10 videos with no problem. Location: The hotel is in the middle of two underground train stations, so you can get in and out easily by walking for 3-4 minutes. However, for the first day, especially when you have a lot of luggage or big oversize luggage, and if you don't want to go around crossing the street looking for escalators or elevators, it's better to take a taxi. The hotel and Kyoto station are not too far apart at all. I know that taxi rides in Japan are rumored to be expensive, but it's up to you if you want to save your bag or your back. After you are free from your luggage, you can even walk 5-8 minutes to the shopping street or even 20-30 minutes to the famous Kiyomizu-dera Temple, which we did after recovering from 10 hours of sitting at the airport and on the flight. Since Kyoto has a lot to explore and there is great food out there, even food from combini Family Mart and 7-Eleven nearby, we did not try the room service or restaurant at the hotel. Sorry about that. In conclusion, this is a brand new, renovated hotel that is clean and has a nice location. I will revisit and recommend it to my family, friends, and favorite colleagues.
