I don’t often write reviews, but always use them to make choices when looking to stay here. I booked this hotel to stay at for my son’s 10th birthday in January 2024. The room I booked was no refundable, but having read reviews I was happy to take the risk. 2 hours before we were due to travel there we received an email to say that their pool was closed due to unplanned renovations. Let’s be honest, this is the hotels only real selling point and the whole reason I booked it in the first place. Disappointed, we had no choice but to travel to the hotel to discuss things with their team in person. Arriving at the hotel it was a mess, almost looked derelict. Whoever took their hotel photos needs a pay rise, put it that way. It was clear that the work wasn’t unplanned, and in fact had been going on for some time. Letting guests know on the day they travel is obviously a ploy to prevent confrontation. We were told that we had the use of a pool at their sister hotel, 15 minutes away by shuttle. This runs every 2/3 hours. Not the fairy tail birthday I had in mind for my son if I’m honest. To compound things, the hotel refused to refund me my money and I had to pay again to stay at a hotel that was able to provide the facilities it promised. Looking back at the hotel, there were clear signs. They haven’t had a positive review since 2021, that tells its own story. If you are thinking of staying here, please don’t. The best thing about this hotel is the staff! They work so hard and handled any problems we had the best they could. The hotel does need updating, We were allocated a Mountain View room, you could just see it behind all the wires and busy road, we upgraded at a cost to a sea view, it was worth it, the view was stunning! The room was comfortable and clean, as much as I tried not to, I couldn’t help but flood the bathroom, the water runs along the bath and straight to the floor! Breakfast was nice and again the staff were really on the ball, the service was faultless! In reception there is a pond that runs all around with several koi carp in, we brought some fish food from one of the pet shops and fed them every morning (there is food behind the desk if you want to fed them) The beach is lovely, Despite the place needing updating and a few repairs I would stay here again, we had a lovely holiday in Lamai.

This is our second stay at this hotel and we chose this firstly due to the location. It is directly on the beach close to bars and restaurants. The pool has had an upgrade since last time we stayed and appears to have been newly tiled. The pool is nice but not too big and can get crowded when you get a few people using inflatables. There is no children's pool unfortunately but the pool is open from 6 am to 9 pm so you can find a quiet time. There are some beds available on the beach in front of the hotel but I noticed people were putting towels on them as they were under the trees which was not good. The grounds are lovely as you feel like you are nestled in a jungle and the rooms are private but a little dated and on the smaller side. Breakfast was the same each day consisting of scrambled egg, bacon, potatoes, yogurt, fruits,toast, cereals, croissants and a couple of Thai alternatives. The staff come round to ask if you want omelettes or fried eggs etc but sometimes neglect to bring the order. An egg station would possibly be better in the restaurant. Also there is good cheese and ham but this is not covered and there is a problem with flies particularly round the jam jars as the lids are off. The staff are all very pleasant and accommodating and the menu is varied in the restaurant with meals/drinks available during the day. All rooms now have internet and you can watch Netflix etc and you are supplied with 4 bottles of water daily which is more than most hotels provide. Tea and coffee is available and a kettle in the room. Wi-Fi is good too. Maid service is excellent and I noticed the staff cleaning the beach too. This hotel is sometimes quite expensive on some of the sites but if you can get a good deal it is worth the money for what you get but don’t pay over the odds.

When booking and looking at the photos on the booking website I used I was very much looking forward to this stay. When I arrived my first impression was I couldn't wait to leave. We were shown to a small dark dingy room but told we could upgrade to a superior room. Thankfully it was much better, but still nothing like that shown on the booking site. Don't get me wrong this place is very inexpensive and in a nice location but it could be so much better. It was dirty, we had to go to Lotus's to get cleaning products. The bed may as well be a sheet of chipboard, I'm not sure there was actually a mattress on it? In the three days we stayed the room was not cleaned, bins emptied or anything. The pool area was dirty, people sitting around smoking ****, coughing and spitting; again the photos on the website make it look awesome - in real life not so Definitely not a boutique hotel. On the positive the desk staff are friendly and helpful.

Nos habíamos reservado para llegar a este hotel varias veces, pero fue cancelado debido a la covid, así que esta fue la tercera reserva y grande que finalmente lo hicimos aquí! El hotel no ofrece desayuno ni comida! Pero hay suficientes lugares para comer localmente! ¡Desde el lugar de la estación de viento francesa hasta el restaurante tailandés que ofrece un desayuno inglés! Dos huevos fritos con arroz cocido - 30 bts! Arroz adhesivo y mango 60 bts! Un corte de melon 10 bts! Entonces camina por la carretera principal hacia el Tesco Lotus y encontrará un cubo de metal llamado HOP. La chica te hace todo lo que quieras por 20 bts! El hotel está bien situado! ¡Caminando a la distancia del mercado domingo de Lamai, así como cargas de restaurantes y lugares para comer y beber... fuera de la carretera principal del hotel, gire a la izquierda y a la primera derecha! Caminar directamente por la carretera por unos minutos ten/15! ¡Nos encanta este lugar!

Recomendamos sin duda que se tratara en el spa - probamos un tradicional masaje tailandés, que era razonablemente precio y muy terapéutico. La playa era hermosa y tranquila.El mar, alegremente caliente, aunque el agua permaneció bastante suave por algún camino....no una crítica, sin embargo, porque era perfectamente profundo para nadar. Бассейн чистый, хороший. По просьбе принесли второе одеяло. Из минусов это подуставший матрас и душ который заливал в ванной комнате весь пол. Прям весь. Но вид из окна закрывал данный минус. Просили не первый этаж и нам предоставили. Бунгало показалось не очень комфортным, а вот наш номер с видом на море прекрасен. Готова вернуться в данный отель. Аптека сразу за углом дорогая, пройдите чуть дальше влево. Пицца вкусная на ночном рынке возле речки в право минут 5.
