Nature lover will love this! though raining on the day of my stay, it is still amazing

West side was around 10 min walk from the outlet mall and took us nearly 30 mins to walk (with a kid) to the East Side Snow Park. Room was just okay for its price - lobby looks better and newer than the room which was a bit old fashioned, yellowish (without a full mirror too) and not spacious. We drove there. For this price point, we would try other hotels next time, like Hilton in the area, given we need to walk a long way from West Side to everywhere, even to the hotel lobby and car park.

Nice hotel, nice shopping area with a lot of greenery. Just only two restaurants in West Hotel and they close early at night (around 8:00pm).

My cottage 830 is very inconvenient. On 8 and 9 Nov 2023, it is completely dark after 17:00 pm. On arrival at Karuizawa Station, I need to go to the Prince Shopping Plaza and take the free shuttle bus to the hotel front office. After checking in, I need to get a ticket and wait for the shuttle to take me to my room. There is free cottage shuttle every 15 minutes to take guests to the hotel front office. In that building, there are restaurants and a convenient shop.

The hotel is excellent, and the place is tidy and comfortable. The shuttle to the chalets in the hotel closed at around 9pm. So it would be better if the shuttle bus can extend the service hours.

Really enjoyed the hotel. It was next to the mall and was easy to walk.

It’s the second time to live here. It’s good for a family together in a spacious cottage.

Close to train station, outlet and Ski place. The only negative point is the breakfast as food quality is really so so.

The manner of the receptionist is average. The cottage transportation driver is very nice , good attitude. The twin room n the cottage are clean.

Kids-friendly. Nice faculty in general, but probably too many guests on the days we stayed, staffs were a bit impatient.

Great place for family skiing and shopping resort, it has a stunning scenery and surrounded with very good restaurant, especially at the outlet side. Staff are welcoming and friendly, although they struggle with English speaking, especially the front desk staff.

The front desk people are not that friendly, and when they don’t have a concierge it’s difficult to ask them questions about how to get up places and also more importantly ski arrangements - especially when you’ve come all the way for ski. Would recommend going to the ski counter before ski day to find out arrangements.
