The service here is amazing. It’s a little high tech, so if you have trouble working your phone, or keying in to enter your room, probably not the spot for you. But, the staff is very helpful and will guide you through any hiccup.
The spot couldn’t be much better. The rooftop is huge and uncrowded and the sunsets are great! Each room is cool in its own way. I love what they’ve done with the place!
Only issue was the thin walls. You really can hear folks around you, but the rest of the upside definitely outweighed this small inconvenience.

The property was clean and cozy. Check-in and out could not have been easier. The area was beautiful, relaxing, and had lots to do. The only drawback is having to find street parking, but it ended up working out alright.

If you’re not a tech person this place might not be for you. Check-in is all via online. No keys for room it’s a code once you check in.

I really enjoyed this stay. The rooftop was beautiful as well. The beds were amazing! My biggest regret was not looking at the bed brand and to see if there was a mattress topper. I slept so good!

What a gem! The location of this boutique hotel can't be beat...so many restaurants and bars right outside the doorstep...and as far as the beach is concerned, the hotel is so close that it shares a parking lot with all the local surfers putting on wet suits and waxing their boards at 6am each morning.

We actually did not stay in the room. My wife wasn’t comfortable in the room and she could smell sewage from the bathroom. Parking was a major issue and very disruptive. We did not receive an email with the access codes and the woman that we spoke to wasn’t friendly.

Such a cute boutique hotel in the heart of the action. Restaurants all around and you can literally see the beach from your balcony. The rooftop area is HUGE and has so many firepits to enjoy. We were there in December and it was decorated so nicely for the holidays. And every employee we encountered was so friendly and welcoming! Would 100% stay again. Only issue would be if you are light-sensitive the room we had had a window without any covering so it stayed somewhat light all night. Otherwise, an amazing stay.

We had a wonderful time! The hotel was so cute and the rooftop was awesome. All of the rooms are unique and very clean. Great location right by Hermosa pier. Walking distance to several shops and restaurants. We also rented beach chairs from the hotel. Staff was so kind and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel!

SW Beach Hotel is in an amazing location! The hotel is conveniently located to everything in Hermosa. It was clean, great service, overlooking the beach / pier, and they accommodated a late check out! (I do wish the bed was a bit more comfortable tho!).
This hotel provided the perfect home base for my husband and I as we celebrated our anniversary. They had some good amenities (glasses, wine opener, pots and pans) which were great.
Would definitely stay here again! Thank you SW Beach Hotel.
