Excellent accommodation in a great location (we were blessed with a sea view); hotel was spotlessly clean; staff very friendly and went beyond what we would normally expect (special thanks to Alec for his tips on parking). While the food options may be limited, that was not a problem as discounted vouchers were available for excellent breakfasts in the hotel next door – and the added bonus of the breakfast "goodie" bags. A special mention of the beds – not sure if we were just lucky – but it was undoubtedly the biggest and most comfortable bed I have ever experienced. An excellent hotel for which I would have no hesitation in recommending. We will definitely return anytime we are visiting Eastbourne

Amazing jewel of a hotel, beautifully presented and great value for money, very cosy and welcoming. Hugely relaxed atmosphere, set in brilliant location of sea front and near amazing places like Beachy Head and Birling Gap. Staff are brilliant, so helpful and friendly with lovely complimentary packed lunch which is a wonderful touch. Alec was a fantastic conversationalist. I'm a regular here and this place never let's me down.

I don’t usually review our holidays but this place deseveres one . From the goodies when we checked in the quirky decor and friendly staff we couldn’t fault a thing . Special mention for ellie who was lovely and had a great sense of humour ! Conversation with her was so relaxed and not forced hospitality chat ! To anyone thinking of staying at west rocks make sure you ask reception for discounts leaflets and parking tickets which are so useful when in Eastbourne . Thank you west rocks hotel for a lovely stay , we will be back x

I would like to shout out to Alec and Mark for making me and my partner feel so welcome. From the minute we walked through the door, nothing was too much for them and they couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel was very clean with lovely little touches throughout. Very enjoyable stay and will definitely return soon. Also got to mention Andre and Michael who we also met during our stay. Who were also very nice. Got to say thank you to Michael for his quick response and reuniting me with my keys that I had left behind in the room. Really beautiful, relaxed, lovely, clean and well looked after hotel with great staff who were very caring and passionate x

Such a pleasant experience for a weekend break at the seaside in Eastbourne. We received a very friendly welcome from Ellie (and Michael too) on reception. Car parking nearby was easy with the £2 voucher available from the hotel. A local map was provided with details of restaurants nearby offering discounts too. Very pleased with the allocated room with sea view and bath and shower, clean and comfortable bed and comfy chairs and coffee table too. Although they don't do cooked breakfast the goodie bag we received each morning was a lovely surprise. Certainly great value for the money and perfect location right on the front. Many thanks 👍

I stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and 1 dog. I was so impressed with the friendly staff, I don’t usually leave reviews but this place deserves recognition. The room was clean and comfortable, they left us a box of malteasers, treats for our dog, dog bed and bowl. They don’t provide food but are happy for you to order takeaway to have in your room or bar area. The do give you small breakfast bags though. The bar has only just opened but is very cozy and welcoming. All the customers were friendly too. Dogs allowed in bar area too so no need to go elsewhere. We will definitely visit again. A shout out to Alec who was so friendly and helpful and the lovely lady behind the bar. Thank you for making our stay a lovely experience.

Wow what a find this place was! If you're expecting ultra modern, brand new razzmatazz then this won't be for you BUT if you want fabulous staff, fantastic location, brilliant sea view and lots of little treats then this is the place ! We stayed in room 230 with a sea view which was just beautiful. Real little gem this place as were the maltesers in our room ! We will definitely be visiting again.
