I nearly missed the flight this morning as it was very early in this morning. Staff would not wake me and would not listen to my daughter to please check I was up at 3am. I had just completed a very long flight from Africa so was exhausted but too scared to fall asleep in case I didn't wake up for the next flight. At 3am my daughter called reception who said she only starts work at 11am(so she sleeps in reception does she). Then, she can not see which guests go in or out the hotel(good position for reception area then) and then told my daughter, I can't tell you anything, so just keep calling her phone and hope she answers! Is that how you handle elderly people who are exhausted after a 15 hour flight and two swollen knees from a fall following recent surgery, and too scared to sleep in case I missed the flight in the morning? No idea why the staff are there if they can not assist in any way!
