Der Aufenthalt, der Service und die Ausstattung haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Hotelensemble besteht aus 2 Landhäusern und 1 Seehaus, welches direkt am wunderschönen Badersee liegt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Landhaus mit Blick auf die Zugspitze. Das Frühstück hatte eine schöne Auswahl aus diversen Aufstrichen, Käse, Ei, Müsli und Gebäckvariationen. Eine abwechselnde Auswahl wäre schön gewesen, aber dennoch völlig ausreichend. Das Abendessen wird vom Restaurant ”Werdenfels” als Büffet ausgerichtet und hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Um das Hotel herum gibt es viele Möglichkeiten für Outdoor-Aktivitäten wie wandern, Bootstouren (im Sommer), mit der Seilbahn auf die Zugspitze und dort Skifahren. Mit einem Hotelticket kann man kostenlos zum Eibsee oder in die Nachbarstädte Garmisch-Partenkirchen fahren. Es gibt einen internen Wellnessbereich mit Möglichkeit für Massagen. Ich hatte die Schnell-Entspannungs-Massage und war danach tiefenentspannt! Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Wir können das Hotel nur empfehlen und würden wiederkommen.

La ubicación era un poco lejos, pero el alojamiento era limpio ㅎㅎ Para referencia, hay tiendas de alcohol alrededor, hay grandes marzo y restaurantes!

La recepción es agradable. El hotel está encantador en el lago Riesser con vistas a las montañas o la PAC. De aquí se puede comenzar a hacer hermosas caminatas. En verano el lago invita a tomar baño. Hace unos años, estuvimos aquí en el deporte de invierno. Tenemos una casa de casa y eso fue muy bueno ... y 2Balkone con vistas al lago. Todo limpio y ordenado. El desayuno buffet no deja abiertos sus deseos! También puedes sentarse bien afuera. En el área de spa, saunas ... y piscina, así como una pequeña piscina - desde aquí el acceso a la terraza solar. También se pueden reservar tratamientos. En el mar se le da un buen lugar y se sienta bien. Nos ha gustado mucho. Volveremos. ****

We recently stayed here for 4 nights, as Accor members, during a short break in Garmisch. We found the location ideal - it's not right in the centre of the town, but there are plenty of local amenities and places to eat. The main train station is around a 15 min walk, but there are buses too, if needed. Best Points: Excellent and easy parking. Costs 8€ a day, which isn't bad at all. The breakfast staff were all an absolute joy! We're not morning people, so getting up to make the end of breakfast before 1030h is hard, but they were cheerful and welcoming, and moreover seem to work well as a team. Well done! The breakfast choice was good. It actually expanded during the week. I don't usually eat meat outside of my home, but I could if I wanted to, as there were several turkey choices, instead of pork which I definitely can't eat. My husband found his salmon was there from day two onwards, so he was happy. We had a suite, because we like room to move. It was little dated, but mostly fine. The bathroom was a bit tight. The not so good: Having lived in Germany for years, we're now resigned to the separate duvets and can make a joke about them (they're just not our style), but for a suite, I would expect at least zip and link beds, instead of actual separate beds pushed together. Not comfortable for us at all. I'm not bothered about AC personally, but I can sort of understand why those who are might find it stuffy on warmer days. The reception staff were hit and miss. I kept checking, as there was a sign saying there were issues with credit card payment. The day before we left, the staff member reassured me that it wouldn't be an issue, as my card was on file and they could process it online. Good, no need to get cash then. Sadly, when we left, a different staff member had me try two different cards, both of which failed (as predicted) before processing the payment online, which went through straight away. With a queue building up behind me, this was somewhat awkward, to say the least. The bar is very quiet in the evening! We took our drinks to our room as it was just too quiet. A couple of times, the cleaners entered the room, with only a perfunctory knock, despite our use of the 'don't disturb' sign. Overall: We will stay here again, as we feel we know how to navigate the area well, and really, for the convenience of parking and such, it's a solid choice of hotel. Hope they can reconsider the beds though! The location and the breakfast crew and breakfast choice are definite plus points.

Antes de ir al juego de la pasión este año, he estado buscando fotos en los libros de escrituras de mi antepasado en casa en los Estados Unidos desde el juego de la pasión de 1900 y los he traído para comparar en 2022. El hotel Wittlesbacher se había quedado y comió en el Alte Post, así que me encantó que nos reservamos para comer la noche antes del juego. ¡Me impresionó que, aunque nos habíamos retrasado en la carretera durante dos horas más allá de nuestro tiempo de reserva, el personal de la Alte Post Still tenía nuestra tarjeta de reserva en la mesa como si nada fuera inusual! La comida en 2022 fue deliciosa; ambos teníamos Sauerbraten, cacahuet rojo y Knudln-- que fueron Excellent servidos con una cerveza local oscura y una cerveza salvaje Charlotte para el dessert. ¡También he tomado la ”amarilla” después de la cena del liqueur del monasterio Ettal.. que también fue bueno! ¡Sólo espero que mis antepasados comieran también 122 años antes!

At a rate of EUR 220+ per night, we expected a calm, well-maintained, scenic and professional hotel experience. Unfortunately, we found neither. Rooms are equipped with kitchenettes which are unlocked at an extra charge of EUR 30 (we did not opt for this). The (locked-in) old kitchenette fridge kept us awake all of our first night. Staff acknowledged the poor state of this equipment and admitted several guests had complained about this noise before us. Thankfully they turned the fridge off for our second night. But why was this on in the first place when we had not booked the kitchenette extra? We came for Alp calm - not noise of an old fridge we did not even have access to. Hotel facilities were old - all of it - all dated from when constructed (early or mid 70s?). Wall-to-wall carpets in room. Our roomed smelled of old cigarette smoke. We were tempted by beautiful looking photos of the hotel where balconies had unspoiled views of the Alps. Unfortunately our room was dark and had no view whatsoever - expect for a few trees and a railway track that had trains spoiling the tranquility we came for. Website photos for not live up to expectations! Waiters repeatedly did not take our requests seriously, whether we asked for frites to be replaced by potatoes, chicken to be added to our the vegetarian dish (waiter shrugged this request off, before eventually accepting for an extra charge), or forgetting to prop up our breakfast table (no butter on day one, no yoghurt on day two - all paid for). English skills also questionable. Aargh - for this price we expected so much more - this was unfortunately a disappointing stay for us. This is a pity because the hotel location is good and the place has some good potential if owners would only pay to maintain the place.

Reservamos una habitación doble confort con una pequeña mesa redonda para el té. Se pueden ver 2 montañas. Debajo del hotel hay pequeños ríos y vías de tren. Cerrar la ventana no es ruidoso. Por la noche, el hotel dispone de un buffet para 20 personas. Gratis para niños menores de 6 años. La actitud del personal dijo cómo decir el pasado a los chinos. Pero no entiendo inglés y no me doy cuenta. Es posible pagar más. Nuestros hijos tienen 3 meses y 6 años. Por la noche, el buffet costaba 10 euros. Los niños también están muy felices de comer. No dijimos mucho al respecto. Este hotel es el único que tiene una bolsa de agua caliente para este viaje. A 10 km del estacionamiento del lago eibsee.
