The Villas at Sunset Lane

Room is clean and location is closed to beach through back yard door, be care of watch dogs.

The owner, Miss Jackie, loves his B&B and it shows. This is the right place if you dont like big hotels. However, if you feel like having a beer, the beach is just half a mile away.

What an absolute gem of a place!! My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights, prior to embarking on a cruise, and it was amazing here. The room was huge, spacious and spotlessly clean, with everything we could possibly need, with a stunning view of the sea. Jackie was a fantastic host and a brilliant chef too!! - we had **** chicken with coconut rice and fried plantain one evening, and it was delicious. If you get the chance to eat there, then definitely choose something from her menu, you won't be disappointed. The breakfast was lovely too, with included freshly prepared fruit, toast and homemade marmalade, but with the option of eggs or omelettes if required. The setting was peaceful with lovely views over Dickenson Bay, and the lovely beach was only a 10 minute walk away via a short cut through the property. Jackie was very helpful, organising taxis for us to take us to the ship, contacted out tour company when the guide was a little late, and even drove us to the beach one day to show us where it was and the route to take back. Nothing was a problem, and we felt safe and well looked after. The other staff there were lovely too, very charming, friendly and polite and made us feel very welcome. I would definitely stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jackie and her resort to everyone. Thank you Jackie for a memorable stay in Antigua, we loved every second of our stay there.

We had a wonderful stay with Jacquie and her team at the villas at sunset lane. The rooms and bathrooms were large,well equipped with comfy beds and efficient a/c and ceiling fan. Jacquie is an amazing host and an excellent cook. Continental breakfasts were lovely but we did treat ourselves to omelettes for breakfast a couple of times and they were amazing. We also ate dinner at the villas in two occasions and they were very tasty. We certainly didn't go hungry. The villas are very clean and the staff team are friendly and helpful. Pool is lovely and also kept extremely clean. Jacquie is a perfect host who helped with sorting out the puncture we got on our hire car plus made dinner reservations and excursion reservations. The area is quiet but is 10 mins walk from the beach and a short drive into St Johns. Best rum punch on the island!!! I would definitely stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay at the villas. Jaquie was a wonderful warm hostess with a million dollar smile. She went above and beyond making our stay perfect. She helped us book accommodations for the days after we left. The food was beyond the normal. Eat every meal you can there. The room was spacious and clean, all of the staff were very friendly. New would highly recommend these accommodations to anyone coming to Antigua

We had a fabulous stay At The Villas at Sunset Lane. The rooms and bathrooms were huge and very well equipped. Jacquie and her staff were amazing making us feel very welcome . We ate in the hotel a few times and Jacquie is a wonderful cook. Breakfasts were also lovely. Nothing was too much trouble .

Lovely quiet place for our two night stay before boarding a small ship cruise. Jackie is delightful and served excellent breakfasts. We liked being away from the big resorts with the feeling of being in a private home, yet a short taxi ride away from restaurants.

The owner Jackie went above and beyond. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The location of the villa is a short walk from the beach. Breakfast muffins made by Jackie was so delicious. Thank you so much for such a wonderful hospitality. My best friend and I felt so at ease and relax during our stay.

The facility as well as the owner/chef were awesome. The place is very clean and the staff were very nice. The owner is quite lovely and treats you like a king or queen. Our stay was for a single night and we enjoyed a nice breakfast with other guests. Great experience.
