La habitación de lujo fue renovada, lo que explica algunas diferencias con las experiencias de otros. En realidad, esta habitación renovada fue de 4 estrellas y mejor que nuestra experiencia media del hotel Fletcher. Apartamento de estar con escritorio y sofá, baño con ducha y tubo separados (todo un poco encajeado) y en la otra mitad de la habitación un WC separado. Nice cama, balcón, buena WiFi. Piscina fue sorprendentemente buena y grande para un hotel, también sauna gratuita. El hotel está situado junto a la estación central y al borde del centro comercial. En el lobby puedes trabajar y tomar una taza de té o café gratis. El personal es joven y informal. Las habitaciones no son grandes, pero son buenas camas y baños. Desafortunadamente, en cada habitación del hotel, encontramos el pecado de muerte: una botella de licuador de los antiguos huéspedes bajo la cama. Aunque la habitación no era sucia, es evidente que es un punto de atención.

This hotel was clean, cheap and cheerful and was perfect for our one night stay. The bed was very comfortable and our room impeccably cleaned. Check in was easy. Breakfast was basic, more continental than cooked. But nonetheless, something for everyone.

Let me start off by saying: if you are looking for a nice area for walking and cycling, this hotel may be worth it. The surrounding woods are quite nice. Other than that, don't expect much. As others have already mentioned, it's not a typical hotel but more of an outdated holiday resort. It's not even close to being worth 4 stars. There are two rooms per building, using the same main entrance, and you have to pay extra if you want the ground level room - which is apparently also the only one with a kettle and coffee machine. The stairs to the first-floor hotel room are quite steep and not accessible to everyone. The vibe it gave was 'sleeping over in your 70-year-old uncle/grandpa's attic'. The rooms are very old-fashioned, with no clock, an old radio you can't plug in because of the lack of outlets, and a bit of a musty smell. The 'two-person bed' is just two single beds pushed together, so if you want to be intimate with your partner or just sleep close together you will most definitely end up in the gap in between. The beds don't sleep great, either. There is no airconditioning so it gets quite hot in the summer with no way of cooling down, and the wifi is not too stable. There is also some mould in the shower, as well as rust, and the window in the bathroom does not open. The toilet sometimes refused to flush properly. Breakfast was standard, don't expect any vegan options except for bread and peanut butter. You are allowed to take some stuff for lunch, though, which is nice. There is no fridge in your room however, so keeping things cool is not an option. Also bring your own cutlery, plate & cup if you plan on buying breakfast/lunch at a local supermarket, because the room only comes with two plastic-lined paper cups. There is only one vegetarian main course on the restaurant menu, but the chef was very kind and made the vegetarian lunch options dinner-sized for us. Vegan would definitely be impossible, though. The restaurant and pool are also not that easily accessible for people in a wheelchair or with a walking impairment. Definitely get some sort of voucher or discount deal, otherwise the prices are way too high for what you get. You're not allowed to order food from Thuisbezorgd etc. The pool is... well, it's not much. It's small but barely anyone goes for a swim there, so chances are you will have it all to yourself. Bring something like a diving game or a ball if you want to have anything fun to do. The showers don't really work and half of them only have cold water. There is a tennis court but it will cost about 12 euros per hour to use it, and the 'sports fields' that are on the map they give you have become overgrown and cannot be used. You're not allowed to park your bike next to/close to your building but there is an old shed-like building in which you can store your bike. El hotel tiene una habitación única para tres noches en junio. El tiempo era caliente y soleado. En general, no esperaba mucho del hotel, como tal se cumplía o superó mis expectativas. Los buenos puntos. o Cerrar a los ensayos de caminar y los grandes al aire libre o desayuno. El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no se puede encontrar en el hotel. El baño había visto definitivamente una actualización o mucho de estacionamiento gratuito Cosas para mejorar o el baño tenía un balcón (que era agradable) pero en el balcón había botes de cigarrillos. Como no fumador no puedo soportar esto, pero lo que lo empeoró es que tienes que preguntar al personal de limpieza si no lo limpian. Lo que más se pierde o La cama única, fue como para una persona muy picante, no horrible tipo de pequeño o Un champú por 3 días, no rellenos. Creo que podrían rellenar el champú dado que era para la ducha y lavando las manos. o cena, lo tenía una vez. Estaba bien, pero no 35 euros buenos para peces y chips y una cerveza.

Bien recibido por el portador nocturno y un receptor, Hasta la habitación el hotel está bien cuidado. Una vez en la habitación parece que los años 80. Muebles en el baño, muebles en el baño pendientes demasiado bajo. Reservado una cama doble y nos dieron dos camas individuales con un tope fin. Mi esposa se despertó con dolor de espalda. El café en la habitación era realmente inferior. La polvo estaba en todas partes. Higiene no era digna 5-sterren. La próxima vez, escoge otro hotel.

Once again this hotel didn't let us down. The location of the hotel is ideal and parking(free) is easy. The view to the river is priceless(superior room with terrace). The staff were very friendly and made you feel comfortable. Overall everything went easy. One more thing: the breakfast room has world-class view to the river.

Great staff and great hotel. Ideally located for our European motorcycle tour and have us a much needed break. Great access to Arnhem and also allowed us a moment to pay our respects to the commonwealth troops that have their lives during operation market garden. Thank you Arnhem VDV

In de vakantietijd weinig boekingsmogelijkheden in de regio Veluwe. Zo kwamen we uit in de Veluwezoom en dus bij Hotel Papendal. ( 4 nachten) Staan bekend als plek voor de sporters. Deze maken niet gebruik van het hotel, wel door mensen rond de sport. Zeer nette kamers geen mankement geconstateerd. Prijs is heel voordelig, incl. uitgebreid ontbijt . (value 4 money ) Diner 's avonds is goed. keuze mogelijkheden wat beperkt als je er 4 dagen bent, dus dan uitwijken. Muziek mag dan wel wat rustiger, is aan de dominante / drukke kant. Omgeving heeft vele mogelijkheden: kasteel Doorwerth, Wodanseiken is een wandeling zeker aan te bevelen. (zie foto met een hertje dat u aankijkt)

Het hotel is werkelijk prachtig. Mooie entree, vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk gegeten. Maar toen de lift open ging, viel onze mond open. De 1e zat vol gepropt met asiel zoekers. Allemaal op badslippers en blote voeten. De 2e lift ook vol met asiel zoekers met dekens en allemaal troep. Het rook enorm in de lift. Wij gingen mee en stopte op de 3e. Daar stond een hele menigte asielzoekers te wachten. Achteraf hoorde wij van personeel ,dat verdieping 3, 4 en 5 vol zitten. Heel erg vreemd, dat deze mensen de hele dag 2 liften in beslag nemen. Sorry, maar ons zie je niet meer bij vd Valk. Zowiezo is Duiven erg duur. Maar dan verwacht ik wel iets anders!!!
