30th Birthday Luxury Experience What can I say about this place and where do I start! What a luxurious and exceptional experience at the Royal Myconian. Wow! My partner and I booked this resort as part of my 30th Birthday celebrations for 7 days in October 2022, and we were certainly not disappointed. AIRPORT TRANSFER AND SHUTTLE BUS: Regular free bus transfers and free shuttle buses are scheduled throughout the day and evening to pick up guests and transfer them to the hotel. The hotel was around 30 minutes travel from the airport and the main town drop off point. The hotel provides information of the shuttle bus schedule at the main reception desk on a daily basis. The transfer and shuttle bus journeys are not too time consuming, but if you want to spend the day in the Mykonos old town, you will need to work around the shuttle bus schedule. A bus will normally depart from the hotel every 2 hours, likewise from the old town drop off point. CHECK IN: Upon checking in we were warmly greeted at the reception and checked in promptly. Our details were confirmed and we were provided our room key. Our suitcases and bags were then taken to our room. We were personally shown our room by the receptionist who gave us a 5 minute tour of how to use the hot tub, the television, room service and other amenities. The receptionist was extremely lovely and attentive, and provided fantastic information around any questions we had around the resort. Our suitcases arrived within 5 minutes from other hotel staff. ROOM: The room was lavish and extremely luxurious. We booked a Premium Double Room with Hot Tub on the 4th floor. The room was very clean and had all the amenities and small elements you’d expect for a 5 star resort. We received a small bottle of champagne on arrival for my birthday celebration, which was a lovely touch. The room was spacious with a large king sized bed. Within the room we had a large flat screen tv, a safe, adequate clothing spaces, crisp white bed linen, and free WIFI. As we arrived during the evening, a fresh bath robe and spa slippers were placed on each side of the bed. The balcony was a west facing sea view, which had a Hot Tub and two comfy sun loungers. The view was just spectacular in the evening and during the day. After midday, the full balcony was a stunning sun trap. Beautiful sea views to watch a sun set. The Hot Tub was just the icing on the cake and so relaxing. The room was cleaned every day. Fresh towels, bath robes, toiletries and clean linen all provided on a daily basis. When the hotel staff were aware you were out of the room for the evening, they provided new slippers at the side of the bed and un-tucked the bed linen for our arrival back to the room each evening. The staff were visible daily and were always extremely pleasant to us. Room service was also fantastic with an adequate food and beverages choice! I turned 30 at this hotel and it was perfect. Irena was my wife and I's first point of contact and we became quick friends on a first name basis. She remembered fine details about our stay including my birthday, our room number and coordinated dinner reservations, transportation etc. - she also remembered my birthday and sent fruit and Greek wine to my room. The place secluded from the epicenter of the island that is Mykonos Town (it is surrounded by small villages on mountainous terrain) but it has a magical quality that brings out the best in people. Angelos, the bartender is talented and engaging, we too became fast friends. Lastly i'd like to mention the Imperial Spa and the earth angel, Artemis. I was gifted a massage and facial on my birthday and Artemis gave me one of the best massages I have ever had. She was so grounded and connected, I was a brand new baby bird when I walked out. You should not stay here if you dislike soft Mediterranean air with a wide open sea view, twinkling cliff-sides, incredible food/drinks, huge bathtubs, verandas, giant pools with ocean views and very kind/accommodating staff. De nuestro paso por Paros de lo mejor. Todos los puntos positivos: -Trabajadores atentos y serviciales. Nos dieron indicaciones de que ver y a dónde ir según llegamos, además de llevarnos hasta nuestra habitación. -Muy cuidadosos con la higiene y la desinfección por el Covid, siendo obligatoria la mascarilla en pasillos del hotel. El estado del hotel y las habitaciones impoluto. -La ubicación excelente, a 10-12' caminando desde el puerto/estacion de autobuses. -Dispone de servicio de desayuno buffet por 10€ persona y servicio de masajes(sin opinion personal ambas pues desayunamos fuera y no nos dimos masaje). -Dispone de zona de patio (cuidado y tranquilo) con cuerdas para dejar tu ropa húmeda. Como puntos negativos (pocos) : -Nuestra habitación a pesar de ser de 2 vino con un solo juego de toallas. Subsanado rápidamente. -El ruido de otras habitaciones puede molestar, pero no es un gran problema. Para nosotros completamente positivo, volveríamos sin dudar. -

I’ve read many bad reviews on internet that I was about to cancel my reservation. But in the end, our stay was more than amazing. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was to die for and my favorite thing was the pool and the sunset. We even got a free upgrade to spend one night at the diamond villa which costs 10k/night. Truly an unforgettable experience. Worth every penny and will definitely come back with my family.

This was our second time at The Wild. We first stayed 2 years ago and loved it so much we knew we'd want to return again one day. The positives: - Incredible setting; quiet enough to relax, lovely atmospheric music by the pool, great vibes - Perfect private beach, perfect sea swimming, lovely cool pool - Nice rooms, lovely and clean, plenty of hot water and very comfy bed - Loved the choice of pillows from the pillow menu, thank you! - Wonderful breakfast buffet and great beach/pool menu - DELICIOUS cocktails, beautifully made and presented - Plenty of sunbeds and beach towels Sadly though, the one overriding negative which we didn't experience during our first visit was the staff and service. It wasn't the end of the season but the overall impression we had was that everyone was tired, fed up of serving guests and wanted the season to be over. (Exceptions being the friendly, enthusiastic drivers who were chatty and energetic and the lovely cleaning staff who did a gorgeous job of cleaning our rooms). Maybe that wasn't the case but we did find ourselves having to go up again and agin to order drinks from staff who were just chatting by the bar and we had made a couple of reservations in advance of our stay (car hire for example) and even though we had an email confirmation from the lady on the reception who were we actually there and then speaking to, she denied any such reservation! It was not a problem in the end, she was able to get us another car, but had we had plans for an early lunch that day (which we luckily didn't) we would have missed them as we then had to wait a couple of hours for new car to be organised. She didn't even apologise which was a bit off. We were also woken up at 4am by a lady asking if we had ordered cigarettes from room service. This wasn't a great wake up as we were fast asleep but mistakes happen so no bad feelings. All in all we really loved our few days back on our favourite Greek island and I have been in two minds about posting this but I do hope that it can highlight to the hotel Manager perhaps an area the hotel needs to improve on as really, as lovely as a place can be, it's the staff that leave a feeling with you. If you are made to feel really welcomed and looked after that is never forgotten. It would be great to experience that again one day in the beautiful Wild hotel.

Nothing fancy but definitely a great option for families. Relatively large rooms, responsive staff and definitely big on cleanliness. Simos, Adonis and Aggelos at front desk and Fotis at the bar (ask him for recommendations) were of great help. But to be honest all the staff, even the angry pool cleaner :) are extremely helpful. Will definitely come back when in town. They had a problem with water at the pool so we couldn’t use it but chilling there was enough as we were spending more time at the beach anyhow. The hotel can arrange for transportation and activities. Not much at breakfast but definitely good food!
