Recuerdo las 4 Sesiones en este local. Oh, cómo han caído los poderosos. Ahora la reserva de cena... escoltado en la antigua sala de recepción de 4 Sesiones. Preciosa menú básica. El personal es muy duro y generoso. “Raro, medio- raro lamb por favor. “ Bien hecho es lo que me sirvió. Dos huéspedes en los teléfonos vocales , para que todo el restaurante pudiera oír. Quería que las personas regresaran a casa para saber que estaban en Irlanda. Preguntó por las 8:00 descansar...nope...nada...toallas sucias... No hay agua cerca de la cama desayuno...esparció un buffet impresionante llegó al restaurante como el 2o invitado. No hay una comida ni siquiera cerca de caliente. Pudding blanco y/o negro, panqueques, champiñones....todo frío y quiero decir frío. 3 viajes al escritorio delantero para obtener tarjeta para trabajar en la puerta de la habitación de huéspedes. Sí, en el esquema de cosas...esos son asuntos y ofensas menores. Pero en este punto de precio...Es el Davenport desde ahora.

It was my first trip away after major illness, so I decided to maximise my enjoyment by making my journey as easy as I could. Flights to and from France were bookended by one night stays in the Uppercross House Hotel in Rathmines, and the Phoenix Park Hotel, chosen for its proximity to Heuston Station and the train home. Had I known way back in January what I do today, I’d have booked both nights at the Uppercross House Hotel, and used the money I saved on the room to pay for a taxi to the station. My experiences at the two hotels could not be more different. At the Uppercross House Hotel my welcome, my room, my breakfast and every encounter with the staff was excellent. The staff in particular were exceptional: caring, friendly and professional. The cost of my room with breakfast was over €30 less than the Phoenix Park Hotel, and both my requests for a top floor room and a room away from the road were realised. In contrast my welcome at the Phoenix Park Hotel made me feel like a criminal. I always greet staff with a big smile. In response, in stead of “Hello!” or “Good afternoon!” I received “I.D. Please.” Then I found out that my booking didn’t include breakfast, and that no cooked breakfast was available. I accept both hotels are in the city, and therefore noise was inevitable, but the Phoenix Park Hotel ignored both my requests, giving me a first floor room at the apex of a busy traffic junction. Both window latches were broken, so I went to reception to request a room change, and was moved to another first floor room that also had broken window latches. Then I was kept awake all night by banging and thumping above me (that’s why I prefer top floor rooms.) The bathroom had a blocked sink and cracked floor tiles. Next time I stay in Dublin I’ll be at the splendid little Uppercross House Hotel, enjoying an evening down the road at Slattery’s excellent pub.

My only regret is that we didn’t stay here longer! The location is perfect, the accommodation is lovely, clean, new, comfortably welcoming... perfect! We had two rooms in the back off of the sun room/ dining room and they were charming. Our host was so nice and we were able to meet her dad the next morning on our way out. The neighborhood is fantastic, there are a few restaurants/pubs and shops within walking distance and a bus if you wish to go to City Center instead of the 15 minute walk. I can’t wait to visit here again, in 2020!! ***UPDATE well we all know what happened in 2020😣 hence we finally made it back in 2023. This time we were able to stay for 3 nights and I’m so glad we did!! We attended events at Energia Park and Aviva Stadium which we both an easy walk from Donnybrook Hall. We walked into City Center, it was maybe 25-30 minute walk. Leaving City Center we took the DART from Tara and Pe**** stations to the Landsdowne Rd station which is about a 10-15 minute walk from Donnybrook Hall. Nothing has changed, still the perfect location and the hospitality is superb. I honestly can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

El hotel es un hotel muy agradable, con habitaciones confortables que no son grandes, pero lo suficientemente baratas. La situación de estacionamiento no es fantástica usted tendrá que estacionar en la calle o encontrar un multi-storey a unos kilómetros de distancia sin embargo esto no es culpa de los hoteles. Sólo asegúrese de que obtenga la aplicación de la etiqueta de estacionamiento antes de visitar, para que pueda pagar más fácilmente el estacionamiento en la calle.

This really is an absolute gem of a hotel. We were given such a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel is spotless and beautifully decorated. Our room was a standard room but the furnishings and complementary goods gave it a luxury feel. The bed was super comfortable with soft linens and huge fluffy pillows. The hotel had thought of everything including umbrellas to borrow for the typical Irish weather. We were able to easily walk into the heart of Temple Bar. The breakfast served was unbelievably delicious and lots of it! All freshly cooked from a vast menu. This is a family run hotel and the personal flare really shows. Can’t wait to return!
