Stayed here in May 2024 which apparently according to the locals is a very good time to go, weather not too hot and uncrowded beaches and visitor sites as opposed to July and August which are manic. This hotel is a 4 star hotel, spotlessly clean at all times, immaculate gardens, food is buffet food but very well presented, loads of choices and will suit all palates, the hotel is all inclusive so there's wine and beer and soft drinks on tap with your meals. Obviously you can visit the bars at your leisure and there is also a snack bar which runs through most of the day for pizza type foods. We had room 1413 in building 1 which overlooks the gardens and sea which was great although we did pay extra which we thought was worth the price. The rooms are modern and spotlessly kept with a balcony. The hotel has almost everything you need, tennis court, basket ball area, table tennis, kids soft play area and club, pools, indoor in the spa area and outside as well. You can also use the hotels beach but you have to pay for the sunbeds to use them if you feel the need but the sand is not golden and co**** in texture, the sun beds around the pool are free to use. The staff are all very professional, super efficient and helpful (especially Ben from the entertainment team), the waiting team were fantastic and worked tremendously hard when under the pressure of service in the dinning areas. The hotel feels like an oasis with pools, palm and olive trees in the immaculate grounds and almost everything you need for a relaxing holiday if you don't want to explore the area. The hotel is situated at the end of a long promenade which goes on for about a mile going to the left towards Sveti Stefan as you walk out from the pool area and going towards the beach. If you want to walk to Budva you need to go out of the main entrance gate and turn left, walk about 100 yards then to through the tunnel (signposted) on the right, then 30 minutes stroll into the old town and castle area. A beer (500ml) in Budva is about 3.5 euros as long as you don't sit on the seafront and generally about the same price all over the area, food is about the same price as in the UK but you won't need to buy anything as the food in the hotel is excellent. If a Mediterranean type holiday is what you want, warmth, sea and sand Monte***** is a good option to Spain and this hotel definitely won't disappoint you. We walked to Sveti Stefan, about 2 hours away and worth it but not for those unsure on their feet, keep the sea to your right at all times along the promenade, through the tunnel into the next bay and keep the sea to your right until the promenade stops, go through the trees via the concrete footpath and then look for the little concrete bridge on your right, (if you get to the white semi-derelict house you have gone too far), walk up the gravel path and out onto the main road, kept going right for about 200 yards, you will then see a small set of steps on the right just on enteri
