Everything was terrific! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Great location right in the ATT discovery district.

I didn't stay there because after I made and paid for the reservation I googled Magnolia for reviews and found within the past couple of weeks people left horrible reviews saying the rooms were filthy, holes in the towels, dirty blinds, paint peeling, homeless people in the lobby, furniture chipped, and hair came out of bathroom drain. I just didn't want to take the chance of taking my daughter there. I made a reservation through another website for another hotel and lost my money for Magnolia. I would have used Trip.com but the other site had a better price. I know they claim price matching but since the reviews don't seem legit, I wasn't about to take the chance on the price matching.

The staff was top notch. The rooms were nice. The location downtown and lack of parking was the most frustrating part. The valet made that a bit more convenient but we waited 30 minutes for the valet to bring our car around.

Got in late and the desk clerk, Maria, was very friendly and accommodating. Surrounding area of the hotel was safe and walker friendly with a lot of things to see and do. The local coffee shop next door was a plus. We highly recommend this property and we will certainly be back.

It was just fine. Not great and not really worth the price. There was no one at the front desk when I arrived at 4p for check in. I literally stood there for a few minutes before havinf to call out to see if anyone would come around the corner.
The valet people weren't particularly nice to my friend who was also staying here, she was dressed more causally and they ignored her until she asked for help with valeting her car.
The room was poorly lit. There were definitely not enough lights in the room and while having the windows open did help during the day, at night it was drab and depressing. The last time I stayed here it was in a suite and it was better. The queen room was underwhelming at best and the bed was incredibly hard. I was sore from laying on it before I even went to sleep.
Overall, if you're coming to Dallas and you want something nice for not a lot of money, there are other places to stay. This would be my choice only in a pinch.
