A nice hotel with pleasant staff. It's a bit out of the way but accessible as long as you are happy to research the public transport. Has a McDonalds next door so you would never starve! And there is a Lidl a short walk away. The sofa/camp beds could possibly benefit from being updated as sitting/sleeping on those wasn't particularly comfortable but the main beds were comfortable. Breakfast was continental and pleasant. We would stay at the hotel again.

El albergue está bien y tranquilo, la noche es relativamente tranquilo y el personal puede venir rápidamente, pero no se motivó lo que se notó en la edición de comida. Lamentablemente, una hora faltaba en el cuarto y las cerraduras de las fichas de valor en el cuarto eran muy vulnerables. La estación de metro no está muy lejos para caminar. Como siempre, había demasiados pequeños 100 ml de vidrio y el único donante de agua siempre se usó, así que una serpiente estaba 5 metros delante de la máquina. Esto fue muy nervioso en la comida. Los jugos no han sabido a jugo (y sólo se ha sabido al desayuno) y el yogurt tampoco ha sabido a yogurt. Al comer, casi siempre ha sido ruido, por lo que no se puede entender fácilmente. Existe una clara necesidad de mejoras. La playa del Rin es muy bonita y tranquila. Sin embargo, en el aterrizaje del aeropuerto local, que es muy bonito para los fans de aviones, pero siempre se ha oído el metro en la noche. También había ratas y muchos herbívoros en el campo exterior (estaño).

Had a wonderful 3-night stay at this lovely property. Located just a stone’s throw away from Köln Messe/Deutz station, which was very convenient for us who travelled directly from Frankfurt Airport. Its surrounding was peaceful and quiet. Checking-in by Clemens was a breeze. Clemens was friendly and answered all our queries with patience. He also gave us helpful information on dining options in the vicinity. Our courtyard facing Studio room was spacious and quiet, had every amenity we needed for a comfortable stay. We used the washer and dryer every night and it was definitely a great to have. USB charging ports and power points could be found on both sides of the bed and at sitting area. Internet speed was fast. Was able to screen mirroring with my device and hence we were able to enjoy watching Netflix on the big TV screen. Daily housekeeping had also done a wonderful job of keeping our room clean, replacing our used towels and replenishing the laundry detergent. There was a small indoor pool but we didn’t have the time to use it. Our room didn’t come with breakfast, but we did try it out on one morning. Found that it was a tad overpriced at €22 as the spread wasn’t big and choices were pretty limited, the only disappointment we had of this property. Overall a fantastic stay and is value for money. Would strongly recommend this property to anyone who is visiting Cologne.

Ich war für eine Nacht hier um eine Firma in der Nähe zu besuchen. Die Anreise geht vom Kölner Hauptbahnhof easy mit dem Bus. Vom Hotel aus kann man auch gut weiter zum Chemiepark fahren. Da ich erst spät abends angereist und früh abgereist bin kann ich zum oft kommentierten äußerlichen Zustand nichts sagen. Innen ist es schön eingerichtet und modern designed. Die Zimmer sind zwar bisschen Jugendherbergs-Style aber sauber und absolut ausreichend. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich und ich würde es beim nächsten Mal wieder mit buchen. Wenn ich wieder in der Gegen bin würde ich wieder buchen.

Pros include the comfortable bedding, the presence of a small balcony, and a small welcome gift (savory snack). As for the cons: - Location is undesirable unless you are there for Koelnmesse (the trade fair). It's in a residential area with nothing of interest there. Even had to walk quite a bit for a restaurant. - Despite being new to Marriott, this is neither a newly-built hotel nor a fully refurbished one. Bathroom was in less than stellar shape with noticable wear and tear. - Front desk was below average. Slow check-in. Points for the stay did not post correctly, either. Overall, wouldn't book again, there are sufficiently many better options in Cologne.
