Location excellent.

Restaurant closed very early, there was no way to get any food. Elevator at the front door didn't work properly. Then they gave ma a room that was the most far away room you can imagine although I had super heavy luggage and despite the fact that the hotel wasn't booked out. The room was not heated and super cold. The sink in the bathroom was blocked. When I had breakfast and walked away to get a second coffee someone put a bottle with cleaning detergent on my bench and didn't show up anymore. On top you can't park in front of the hotel to unload your luggage.

Lovely hotel with great character so felt special rather than just a box like many other hotels. Great breakfast and service. Would have really liked a coffee pod machine (but coffee bags were provided which were pretty good).
Traveled by train and easy walk from station and to the city centre so great location. Would definitely stay there again.

My room overlooked the main road, the bus stop and a pub. I didnt get any sleep. I asked to move but was told they were full. Managed to get a refund on my second night so checked out and booked another hotel. Bearing in mind most rooms overlook the road i would avoid at all costs if you are a light sleeper.

Amazing hotel. Clean, modern and super comfy bed. Had everything you needed in room apart from Fridge. Only downside was the service was a little slow in the bar but was informed this was due to a change in how they are operating. Also, drinks were on the pricier side- £15 for a cocktail. Would definitely recommend as price for room was reasonable compared to competitors.
