Usha, Kimberly, Christina, Eric, Avissen and most of them are all fabulous and were really great and helpful. The only disadvantage is that the beach is across the road, other than that it's a nice and charming hotel. Food is above average, a large choice. The entertainment in the evening is nice. The room is very comfortable. The 'tea baz' is a great thing for the guests. We can get fresh ice tea throughout the day and fresh water on the beach.

We needed a bed for one night as we were moving into our apartment the day after arrival in Mauritius. AS luck would have it Cyclone Batsirai messed with all our plans. We nearly didn't make it on the day as flights were on/off/on/off/on. Aurore was so so sweet in my emails with her and assured me that our bed would be waiting for us 'when' we got there. Our flight went ahead on the day but delayed to ensure the worst effects of the cyclone had passed. Our keys were left as promised at security. On arrival at midnight our room was ready and waiting for two weary travellers. Our move to our apartment was delayed for four days and so we asked if we could continue our stay. The team were VERY accommodating. I can't say enough about the WHOLE team who made a huge effort to keep us happy, fed and entertained. The rooms are comfortable, serviceable and clean, the bathroom a ballroom (fairly newly renovated), ample packing space/cupboard. Breakfast was great and well worth taking - who wants to run around when on holiday finding breakfast. Dinner was a real treat - I can highly recommend the chicken and prawn curry, the stuffed chicken, loved the prawn and ginger starter and tuna. The chef should be commended highly. The swimming pool was absolutely divine, super clean and sparkling. Can I say again that the WHOLE TEAM were fantastic - they made us feel so welcome. And most spoke EXCELLENT English for those travellers who may feel unsure of French. After we moved into the apartment we went back for dinner again and it felt like coming home. Casual diners are welcomed (and are able to use the pool area) which I found most charming as it meant that there was a hustle and bustle and a good vibe all the time. Thank you to EVERYONE at Toparadis. We may not stay with you again because we have our own place BUT we WILL be back for your delightful food and welcome.

We stayed at OceanV, Grand Baie for 7 nights and we absolutely LOVED our stay. We took the “all inclusive” package and I can really recommend this option as this really makes the entire holiday more enjoyable, no need to stress about paying for any drinks, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner. Inclusive package review: You get a set menu for lunch and dinner which is always decent. My wife is a fussy eater but always managed to find something to eat. For dinner you can also choose options off the main menu which helps when the kitchen is a bit adventurous with the set menu. The drinks that are included are three types of beer, three types of wine, 8/9 cocktails and three mocktails as well as a wide range of cooldrink and hot beverages. This was really sufficient and if you do want to try anything else, you can always just order from the bar. Room and service review: The staff is extremely friendly and always helpful. The room was perfect, amazing view of the sea and an aircon that we had on the entire time and worked perfectly. The staff cleaned the room and bathroom everyday, no complaints, just compliments. Trips/Excursions: We did not use the hotel’s recommended service providers as they were a bit expensive. We went on a catamaran trip, initially using the hotel connection but after they cancelled we were able to find Coral Belle, a very professional catamaran trip company who have three catamaran’s that go to the islands every day, they have a little shop in sunset boulevard - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We took the bus everywhere, Grand Baie for shopping and Port Louis for the day trip - really worth it regarding the price 24 rs from Pereybere to Grand Baie and 44 rs from Pereybere to Port Louis. Recommended to wait for the express bus to Port Louis if you can, the normal bus takes a quite while longer. Finally, the beach is walking distance, 300m, and we were able to walk around to the beach right in front of the hotel for privacy and less crowded. All Round: We would come back and recommend!!!

Dodola Lodge is very nicely situated, right opposite the beach of Pereybere - one of the nicest on the island! The room with a small patio is very spacious, clean and quiet. I had a room with a small kitchenette! All at a very affordable price! The staff was very friendly and always ready to assist! Thank you to Kim, Neville and Marie to make my stay so enjoyable. I will definitely come again!

Gran experiencia en el hotel Voile Bleue , la gente muy amable y el hotel es excelente. Noel , KaSeven , Yanish y todo el equipo hacen un gran trabajo , el aseo impecable y la piscina genial. En la noche tienen musica en vivo en el restaurante y eso es muy agradable . si van a Mauricio no olviden ir a este hotel. cuidado con los taxistas en la calle si , sobre todo las VAN , cobran demás. Preguntenle a Noel o al equipo del hotel consejos , son muy sabios. Kaseven habla español! Genial no? El hotel es excelente y su gente muy agradable. Viva Mauricio !

This is one of the most difficult reviews I’ve given. We chose Salt based on its previous reviews but to be honest it didn’t quite meet them in our experience. It started really well, with friendly greeting and cold towel and drink. Room wasn’t quite ready but we’d been given an upgrade to a large second floor balcony beach view room. The room was lovely but this is a renovated old hotel and you can tell. Very comfy bed and nice touches with drinks bottles, beach bag, DAB radio and Dyson hairdryer. Comfortable room and didn’t miss the TV or mini fridge that usually accompanies this price point. We were All Inclusive but asked to chose whether we wanted lunch on our first day or our last day, this smacked a little of penny pinching and as we spent a day out on the road exploring the island, we didn’t eat lunch one day anyway. The food on the whole was great, anymore than a weeks stay would have become repetitive I think though. Some of the portions were huge, so huge it felt embarrassing to leave so much some days - remember this hotel has environmental aspirations. The staff were friendly with excellent English. Star of the show was Sanjeet behind the bar and restaurant. AI drinks choices were somewhat limited but the bar staff allowed you to play around and order your own ideas. Frustratingly the SALT APP didn’t work in several sections with a ‘forbidden or error’ message clicking on links, a quick scan of a QR code once discovered by staff resolved the issue but it didn’t really work as intended. The main gripe with the food especially in the evening was slow service, penultimate night was a 90 min wait and they forgot our starters so it all arrived together. The last night was 60 min wait and then it arrived cold. They dealt with the issue quickly and there were apologies all round. It was well handled by Sanjay, one of the managers. Lastly the pool and beach. Quirky remodelled pool area from older hotel pictures. There were enough sunbeds around pool and beach for all guests and everyone seemed sensible picking up their towels rather than booking a bed all day. There was plenty of shade and chilled water on tap, another nice touch was Aloe Vera and sun tan lotion available free of charge. The beach afforded a lovely breezy location, we used the free snorkelling trip three times and also the pedalo. Again friendly and help full staff. The only gripe around the pool area is that some of the free towels looked old and a bit grubby, the same can be said for the reusable water cups, they just don’t look as clean as they should. All in all it fell short of the five stars we were expecting, the slow food service, tired towels and cups, poor app functionality and somewhat limited food and drink choice. Make no mistake, the food is excellent and the service much more personal than a larger resort. A great five night break to the sunshine.

Un resort muy recomendado para parejas y familias. Las habitaciones estaban bien mantenidas con una vista clara al mar y una vista de la piscina profunda. ¡La calidad de la comida, el mantenimiento de los restaurantes y todos los espacios públicos estaban impecables! Muchas actividades acuáticas emocionantes que fueron complementarias con nuestra estadía, así como varios temas proporcionados a la hora de la cena para mantener entretenidos a los huéspedes. ¡Kevin y su equipo se asegurarán de que te vayas con la mayor sonrisa en tu rostro después de cada comida! ¡Bien hecho equipo!

Vinimos a celebrar nuestro aniversario de matrimonio. Desde nuestra llegada hasta el ultimo minuto de nuestra partida , el personal del hotel ha superado nuestras espectativas. A nuestra llegada Maria nos atendio muy buen, atenta y detallista al igual que Arteen con quien tuvimos muy buena comunicacion Lilah de HSK muy preocupada y atenta. Jean de Latitud 20 muy atento y profesional ” recomiendo su receta de Rhum Plateur” 5 estrellas y sus entretenidas conversaciones. La calidad de los productos en las comidas fue remarcable, variado y sabroso. Kumin resto, Papparazi resto y las noches tematicas en los Buffet presentados en Nomad Restaurant . No olviden reservar Todos los bares cuentan con variedad ya sea para beber o comer algo. Para medio dia es ideal. Las toallas de playa y los zapatos de agua estan a disposicion en cada piscina. Solo debe ir al meson y pedirlos. Hay 3 piscinas y cada una tiene entrega de toallas. Resort muy seguro, limpio y bien organizado. Tambien hay clases de Aquafun, tennis y yoga gratuitas.

El precio del hotel es muy alto, la sensación de persona es muy buena. Adecuado a ”la excursión pobre”, a unos 5 kilómetros de Super U en la bahía, se puede viajar en autobús (82 caminos, le diré dónde bajar, ver el mapa, pulse el auto cuando llegue pronto, no es fácil hablar), la mayoría de los hoteles de mausoleo son básicamente incómodos para salir, Si el hotel llamaba a un taxi por más de 1000 rupias, yo estaba en autobús con 24 rupias... En estos días, he ido a la supermercado para comprar bifes (muy bueno, todos australianos), he hecho comida (el hotel puede cocinar (necesito comida propia), es difícil comer en el restaurante que trabaja con el hotel. Acaba de cocinar un día y pedir un plato de 340 rupias, Pero no comer).. Si se come dos comidas, es un poco sorprendente, se puede decir que es muy satisfactorio. El entorno es bueno, hay una piscina, y luego está al lado de la gran Mon Choisy Beach, limpia y bien.. Las excursiones diarias y el uso de coches son las mejores reservas en línea, el hotel es más caro.
