After a slight mishap with our room allocation, the staff went above and beyond to rectify, calmly and professionally, resulting in a win-win situation. Lovely old pub with rooms, good food and great atmosphere.

Stayed at this location for 4 nights. Never got to have a drink in all the bars, the "pub" section is large, so are the portions in the many eating areas. The food was excellent and as previously stated were generous in size. The rooms were large and comfortable and supplied with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and even a tea pot along with biscuits and mint sweets. The only fault was due to a leak on the shower and hand basin. Apparently craftsmen are few and far between everywhere. Will certainly use this location again. The staff were always polite, helpful and couldn't do enough to make our enjoyable

Not the first, and won't be the last time I have stayed here. Very cosy pub, good food, friendly staff and comfi bedroom with easy parking. What else could you wish for?
On this occasion, I even was able to help them with a beer dispense issue (my previous profession) so a good stay all round. Looking forward to my next stay.

Lovely country inn. Room (3) was very comfortable if bad reception for TV. The bars/restaurant areas were full of character and had a great atmosphere. Off the beaten track but only one mile from main road and six miles from Swaffham.

Upgraded to the one bedroom cottage, which I think was an old stable converted so it’s got lots of original features. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

A good value hotel with excellent service by staff. Corridor areas a bit 'tired' but rooms very comfortable. Lovely old bar with plenty of ale choice! We have now used the hotel 3 times over recent years and will certainly use again.

What a fabulous find, a very pretty and quaint pub the staff were friendly, the food very good in the cosy bar. We had a room in the main building and if was super comfortable and very cean with a fabulous view of the countryside.
