«Hotel SOGO Dasmariñas – Convenient Location, But Service Needs a Boost Hotel SOGO Dasmariñas is known for its budget-friendly rates and strategic location, catering mostly to travelers in need of quick stays or transit accommodations. While it delivers on accessibility and basic needs, certain aspects of the experience could benefit from improvement. Here's a breakdown of the stay: Cleanliness – 3/5 The cleanliness at SOGO Dasmariñas is passable but inconsistent. While beds and linens are generally clean, other areas such as bathrooms, floor corners, and walls show signs of wear and could use more attention. Some rooms have lingering odors or visible stains, which may affect guest comfort. Regular and thorough deep cleaning would greatly enhance the overall experience. Location – 5/5 One of the hotel’s biggest advantages is its prime location. Situated along a major road in Dasmariñas, it is close to malls, transport hubs, eateries, and convenience stores. This makes it an ideal stop for those on a short stay or needing immediate accommodation. Commuters will find the location especially useful. Service – 2/5 Unfortunately, the service is where SOGO Dasmariñas falls short. While the staff are present, their attentiveness and professionalism vary. Some guests report long wait times for room service or assistance, while others mention a lack of warmth in customer interactions. The check-in process is efficient but impersonal, and follow-up service is minimal. Improving staff training and hospitality would significantly elevate the guest experience. Amenities – 3/5 SOGO provides the bare essentials for a quick and affordable stay. Rooms come equipped with a bed, air-conditioning, a TV, and a basic bathroom. However, don’t expect anything upscale. Some amenities (like Wi-Fi or hot showers) can be hit or miss depending on the room. The hotel does offer hourly rates, which is a plus for travelers needing flexibility. --- Overall Impression: Hotel SOGO Dasmariñas delivers convenience at a low cost, especially due to its excellent location. However, if you’re looking for cleanliness, attentive service, and modern amenities, you might find the experience underwhelming. It’s a suitable option for short stays or quick layovers, but there's definitely room for improvement in hospitality and upkeep. Rating: 3/5»
